The only thing I hated as a crazy auto enthusiast and technician is watching you not use diff lock and low gear and or ring an pinion change to get more torque from low hp engines at first. Hell you could pull that trailer easy with the right gear and rpm range up the hill.
When comparing engines, I like to keep the same final drive ratio and transmission. Also, low gear would make it way too easy for any engine to make it to the top.
When you added a second turbo you didnt gain any torque but it made it up the hill. I think some of the stats are weird. Like the rpm gauge is right but the stats says 10k rpm or more. I dont get it.
The white box above the round rpm gauge is the turbo Info, what rpm its running at, how much boost it is making, how much backpressure it is creating and so on
The rpms never went past 3000 rpm and twin turbos usually just make for faster boost not high end booist, uunless its compound turbos then a turbo feeds another, compounding after mixed, not sequential
Copied this from a message I just sent to another person with the same question, but here you go. Most of the engines have different sounds, and when you go into vehicle config (CTRL+W or LSHIFT + W) and head over to the Engine Tab, you can change the sound by changing the exhaust manifold to something along the lines of Cummins Header. You can also slightly change the truck's sound by changing the muffler (Should just be under Frame) and changing whatever you have to MAGNAFLOW Muffler, which also gives your D-Series a shiny chrome muffler tip behind your right rear tire.
