when she asked what kind of history im into my first thought was “ancient civilizations, but I have a soft spot for medieval europe” this is made for me lmfao
@ Oh! It is difficult not to be fascinated by such an incredible country of relevance. We do often discuss, in class, the vast influence of China as the central power of Asia in the state and governance of Japan. Not even counting the influence of Neo-Confucianism and Buddhism!
I like that idea!! I just have a few more FF4M ones I need to do first... first two girls are going to flirt with you and fight over you at a party... then you're going to have to protect a girl from her bully by pretending you're her boyfriend... then I also have more F4M ones I need to do.... ugh, full schedule!! 😭
Firstly, I’m proud you made a sequel. The audio quality is excellent as the previous and the added jazz sells the atmosphere of a calm, safe setting. I’ll admit I was a little surprised when the monologue took a turn to the character’s interests being in ancient history since I’m a fan of late Roman history (Atilla, Gauls, Sassanids and the numerous civil wars eventually leading up to the construction and founding of Rome’s second capital of Constantinople are my favorite since many of those moments had complete nobodies become famous hero’s of the Empire, including the conversion of Rome’s religion from the Roman mythology to Christianity.) As well as WWI and WWII for its both large and small events of bravery, cunning or treachery. Engagement during the date was impressively organic and believable to the point where it actually made me smile with how genuine the experience felt. The side character friend showing up initially had me thinking it was going to turn into a 3rd wheel experience but the concern she expresses for her friend was wholesome. And having the main lead stand her ground and try to get her friend to leave was both adorable and showed assertiveness that I’m glad to see, can’t have her be too submissive. As was the last, so is this, 10/10. Proud of you lass.
Oh yay, I'm glad you liked it!! I love Ancient Rome as well, as you maybe gleaned from my account name, haha. Maybe not the most wholesome namesake.... 😳 WWI and WWII are interesting for sure. I am more of a Soviet history fan so I like focusing on the eastern front! But yes, I'm glad it felt organic and natural. I was a bit worried that someone would complain about the friend being too clumsy when she was dropping books all over the place, but I couldn't resist. Thank you for the amazingly kind comment!
@ THB I thought those background noises were just loud footsteps. So at least for me it wasn’t distracting, the engagement with the lead character was more pulling that I just didn’t notice. As for Soviet history, I enjoyed and was haunted by the reading of how the Romanov Dynasty was brutally executed when the Soviet revolution happened, along with all the borderline insane rumors about Rasputin. I’m sure you’ve already heard of the “Attack of the Dead Men” back in 1915, that was enlightening to both the cruelty of biological weapons and the sheer grit of the human spirit. I actually had to google the Roman equivalent of your namesake, glad you didn’t take that to heart and make a bunch of yandere content now lol.
There is an amazing documentary series here on UA-cam about the Romanovs put out by StarMediaEN. It's so good! If you ever have a few hours to spare you should check it out 😊
This is the first time I’ve heard someone threaten to go “Ghenghis Khan” on someone. That gave history loving me a good chuckle. Happy to stumble upon this series and channel. Hopefully the algorithm has some love for it.
Ooo. I’m not really that well versed or familiar with the roleplay genre (sorry, I’m kind of new 😓) and I didn’t realize that would be something people would want! Interesting!!
I'm only relatively into history (ancient history is interesting, especially the "little details"), but hearing someone who's passionate about something always makes it 10x more interesting
Greetings, Messalina! I like how the date was crashed and rebooted so easily! 😁 This is certainly an unexpected 2nd part, and a good one! 👍 Thank you! ❤️
Kinda funny that the listener and speaker are into history because I am into history as well. I'm more so into American and video game history, but still. This was a good sequel. I would like to see a part 3 someday.
@ 💞💫yes ofc, always happy when I see the notification that you uploaded a new video 🥹 Going to sleep because its almost 11 p.m where I live, have a great rest of your day 🫡🥰
What part of history do you enjoy? Me: Ancient egypt. Friend: Like its the best thing ever. Both of us at the same time: It IS the best thing ever! :D That friend is being a bit of a douhe though, to be honest. Good character though, and well done. Cutie is cute fs!
Me internally: "Girl, we're grown adults! We don't need a babysitter especially not in our natural habitat! Go make someone else's life miserable for a while!" What I would actually say: 😅
I love history, it was my favorite subject in school. I personally study stuff after the 1500s. My personal favorites are Napoleon, the Unification of Germany and the World Wars. People i think incorrectly say World War 1 was the final death blow to the Ottoman Empire but i think it was kinda on its way out even before the war. Between the different cultures, the Young Turks revolution kinda messing everything up and the fact that they lost multiple wars and were barely a modern nation, it was only a question of time...... but bombarding a city in Russia with a German ship didn't help😂
Ooo, I love Napoleon. I’m halfway through “Napoleon the Great” by Andrew Roberts right now. I need to learn more about the later years of the Ottoman Empire, though!
@MessalinaASMR Napoleon's just a boss though😂, he straight up named himself the Emperor of France without the Pope even naming him one, he just put the crown on his own head and was like "yup, im the emperor now..... ok, now I'm gonna go and rule the universe" or something 🤣
Thank you! And wow, I don't think I will make a Discord, I'm sorry! That seems a bit overwhelming, haha. You should post your scripts on r/ASMRScriptHaven or something! I think that's the right sub 🤔 Thank you again!
My internal monologue: Okay, she's into history. This is my element. I can do this. Alright, say something about history. Just say the first thing you think of. Come on, say it! Me: So my 12th great grandfather Oliver Cromwell conquered Ireland in 1653. Her: I'm Irish. Me: Her: Me: Her: My internal monologue: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!! Her Friend: SUP BROS Edit: Pasta. I was not expecting to verbally "AWWWW" at someone's pronunciation of a word. No, I am not admitting that is what happened.
I used to study prehistoric history but now a days I study ancient weaponry during the years (like spears to swords to gun. Because I plan on doing blacksmithing in the near future) I mainly get my research by watching fellow weapon historian enthusiasts doing video essays 😅 but once in a while I’ll pick up a book or two about medieval weapons or old western weapons encyclopedias 7:41 easy khutulun ✋🏾😅 (I don’t think she’s related to him 🤔 but she was Mongolian)
@@MessalinaASMR believe it or not no 😭 but I have seen some of the contestants best work which really amazed me. But after watching some videos about swords it made me realize that the katana was an ok weapon 👍🏾 (because I used to think that it was better than any sword in history)
"Do like to read fiction too? Or are strictly non-fiction?" I only read fiction. The only non-fiction I've read was for school. Otherwise the closest to willingly reading non-fiction is realistic and historical fiction. But mostly it's fantasy
WE GOT THE SEQUEL, THANK YOUUUU!
Ahhhhh I hope you like it! 😭
@@MessalinaASMRit’s amazing I love the series sm!😭
Aww yayyyy!! 🥰
when she asked what kind of history im into my first thought was “ancient civilizations, but I have a soft spot for medieval europe” this is made for me lmfao
Haha nice!! Medieval Europe is great too :)
My personal preference is the Edo Bakufu
Ooo interesting. I'm more into Chinese history (Tang and Qing dynasties mainly!)

“We must have more! Five hundred dorky shy gf and her confident friend.”
Five hundred?! *gulp*
Haha we will see! 😜
"Thank goodness she's not here today"
I swear I could hear the Left 4 Dead Hunter spawning cue sound just then.
*sniffs air* SHE'S HERE.
Haha... just a liiiiiittle bit of foreshadowing!
Its perfect.. just perfect.. we NEED a part 3.. love your audios btw.. thank you for making such a relaxing place/atmosphere
Aww thank you! Hmmm what would happen in Part 3..... 🤔 I do know that the redhead will eventually set up her friend on a blind date?!
Maybe with a friend of the first listener like a 2nd sub-series
