Yeah, Aubrey Plaza is definitely Death itself. She was "in the neighborhood" as in collecting Sharon's body. She couldn't kill Agatha because it wasn't her time so it's not allowed. Agatha obviously can't take death's power either. Agatha begged her not to take Teen and she said the obvious line about getting the bodies of the witches that Agatha kills. The Darkhold made Agatha immortal which meant that she was no longer flirting with death but was hidden from death which would make Rio mad. And I think that Rio had to take Agatha's son which is the act that hurt their relationship so badly. Oh, and the Death tarot card in the promo cards is dressed just like Rio was with her knife in one hand and a flowering heart in the other.
This is the first I've heard of this theory and while I'm on the other side of the fence of it, I do see the glaring evidence you've gathered. All of that does explain some of the weird things she and Agatha said and it's not like Death being interested in an immortal mortal is unheard of in Marvel. Let me throw this theory out there: In the comics, Wanda’s children aren’t real but she manifests them very real souls. When her kids “die” their souls reincarnate into newborns that are actually real. So what if our teen boy (he’s gotta be Wiccan) here is SPIRITUALLY Wanda’s son but BIOLOGICALLY Agatha’s? That would keep Wiccan in line with how he is in the books while also irreversibly linking Agatha and Wanda in the MCU in new way.
I don't think so since there was a mention of an unsolved fatal car wreck in episode 1 that I think Teen comes from. 3 people were thought to be in vehicle but one was missing. I think this missing body is Teen and the remaining 2 are his bodies parents who died in the crash.
@@joshuabean7805 well that doesn’t really disprove my theory, we know (as of right now) Agatha gave up her child and doesn’t know what happened to him, and he’s almost certainly Wiccan who in the comics is spiritually Wanda’s kid but biologically the child of the Kaplans. The kaplans could have very well been in that car wreck you mentioned and perhaps that’s the exact reason “Teen” wants to go down the road. He wants to bring his parents back. I think when Patti's character trails off - we heard her response in the past episode where she finished her line "I love you guys." This may be the first time we are catching up to her visions.
Marvel Comics context for "The Daughters of Liberty": Agatha led a covert (secret) group of various magic users/supernatural beings of different strengths, (Alchemists, Sorcerors, Witches, Werewolves, Vampires, Rio by her Comics name, etc.) in leveraging the magical world against the British magic users during the Revolutionary War.

I've been a fan of you two for ages! I was just inspired to start my own channel, and I've done two videos on Agatha All Along, covering the Triple Goddess, the Ballad, and the real history of how midwives were persecuted as witches. We know Jennifer's story is going to delve into that. Check them out!
Yeah, I think Rio is going to end up being either Mistress Death or Blackheart.. And I think she was tasked by Mephisto to collect Agatha's son when Agatha either intentially or unintentially offered him to Mephisto in exchange for all the power she has gained over the years.. In my opinion, she's more likely Mistress Death than Blackheart since we saw a damn near 100% comic accurate look as Mistress Death in last week's episode.. Thankfully this show is so much better than I thought it was going to be.. Feels like an excellent continuation of WandaVision.
I agree, before this episode I was thinking Blackheart but certain lines in this episode does lean towards lady death. She wasn't affected by the curse which indicates she's more than just a witch.
Colorado. The teen is Wanda’s. Wiccan, who she has as fondness of because she’s dealing with regret, so there is a goodness in Agatha but she made some bad decisions. Meanwhile Agatha’s son Scratch is becoming a supervillain and the Salem 7 in…wait for it Colorado. Where Lorna was last found being burnt at the stake in the hotel after a show at Red Rocks. Coincidence? I think not. Alice is a red herring. Her mom saw it coming.
After this episode she’s clearly Death which is why she was “In the Neighborhood” after Sharon death, and why she’s just looking at Teen die with her mouth watering waiting to claim another body. It’s also why Agatha kept telling her NO, Don’t, telling Death basically to not even thinking about taking Teen.

I think Rio is the agent of Mephisto who took Agatha's son without her consent ( that is why Agatha hates her). He gave her the Darkhold in exchange for the power she sought but didn't know the real price at the time.
@@MoxieWidow Spoilers . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . So its confirmed via a Funko Pop leak that she's Lady Death, now whether Lady Death works for/with Mephisto in this continuity I'm not sure so you could still be right.
@@joshuabean7805 I'm open to any of it. There have been Funko pop leaks before that were false. Whatever happens, I'm here for it and enjoying the journey.
I think Rio Vidal might be Morgan leFey, from King Arthur's legend. Marvel made her a super villain in the Seventies. She fought against the Avengers, Dr Strange, and she arched for the Black Knight. The Knight was already introduced in the Eternals, played by Kit Harrington. And in the comics, Morgan's magic was green. I think Rio Vidal is a tie in character for the Black Knight.
Ariana Grande actually released her own version of “The Boy is Mine” this year that was a hit and later a remix with Brandy so your younger audience does know that reference 🤣🙌
Rio is Gaea. I’m certain she’s the earth daughter of Mephisto and the one witch that survived the road with Agatha in Round 1. Rio is likely a tour guide and at the end it was a decision to sacrifice Scratchy boy for the Darkhold and Rio had to take the boy. Time to change your relationship status to “it’s complicated.” I’d slam bet on this development.

The Wizard of Oz - Dorothy (Agatha), Toto (Teen), the three companions who think they need to find their gifts when actually they had them all along )Jen, Ali, Lilia) and the Wicked Witch (Rio)
Jay being frustrated at Adam not knowing Patti LuPone is my favorite bit of this series
I appreciate the Green Ranger references.
OH MY GOD JAY THE LIZA MINELLI FORESHADOWING 😮
He's a witch!
@@emilyk5168 BURN THE WITCH!
To Jay: as you say "fluffy muppet" [re: the coats] - i immediately think of that one sesame street sketch where this lady wanted to buy a blue, furry coat. she tried on stuff, and ended up taking one of the monsters home instead [i think it was cookie monster - blue and furry]
Katheryn Hahn deserves an Emmy for her facial acting in this ALONE.
Jay, if you haven't already please watch Audrey Plaza on late night with Seth Myers. She lived with patti lupone briefly and tells a funny story of it. 😂
Curse was a sea-bear, that's why the circle worked
Your jokes are hilarious and natural hahaha "I can only play Wonderwall" lmao
Omg the MST3K reference in the intro!
More like (growling demonic voice) ***THE*** GREEN WITCH!!!
13:00 Some people think she's Lady Death (and for good reason) but I really want her to be Mephisto's kid Blackheart.

There was a leak, it's confirmed she's Lady Death just like Teen is confirmed to be Wiccan aka Billy Maximoff.
One of these episodes Adam is going to make a crack about Patti Lapone and Jay's going to just lunge at him without thinking. It's going to be hilarious.
WHAT ABOUT THE HEART SHAPED HERB THAT WERE IN BE BACKGROUND!! When the teen was dying. I thought those were only in WAKANDA
Excellent rendition of Wichita Nation Army.
Also omg😂 9:12
Understandable about delivering. Technically they've got three more trials and five more episodes so there's definitely some extra exposition
That boy is mine reference was perfect lol
As someone who really wanted to see more of the supernatural side of Marvel back when Werewolf by Night was released. This show is so goof to mean and I hope it get at least a Season 2!
I think the next episode will be ÁGATHA's challenge!!! It's going to be awesome and the ending is surprising 💜🖤
12:34 who's gonna tell jaybird 😭 /lh
Your "Paul is dead" made me so happy!
Lilia's Divinatory Tourette's for the win.
Very nice rendition of 7 Nation Army guys....doubt it breaks any curses though :P
I'm calling it: Jennifer Kale's potions teacher was the alchemist Esteban Corazon de Ablo, aka Diablo. Just like Gilded Lily (Lillian Von Loont), I believe Jennifer was a student of Diablo. I wasn't sure until they used a devil mask (The Spanish word for devil is diablo) to frighten Jennifer.
I love that Aubrey Plaza is basically just playing herself, which is perfect to be honest.
I think Rio is the agent of Mephisto who took Agatha's son without her consent ( that is why Agatha hates her). He gave her the Darkhold in exchange for the power she sought but didn't know the real price at the time.

8:05 It's the ciiiiiircle of liiiiiiife!
The hair and fluffy jacket gave me K. C. (as in the Sunshine Band) vibes. 🤔😎
Loving this show so much!! 💜
"Jenn. You're black. You can play bass."
Wait did she actually say that and I didn't catch it?
@@joshuabean7805 She didn't actually say it. No, but that southpark bit is instantly what I thought of when I first watch the episode
That boy is miiiiiiiiiine, miiiiine!! ♪
I personally appreciated the Brandy reference. 😂😂😂😂
Alice: cam she bring dome Advil?
Advil = Vidal
Advil = Vidal, Rio's name. She got what she asked for. I just love this writing.
Adam's Lupone trolling is hilarious.
Thanks to Jay and Adam! 🧙♀
You had me at Pebble ice and lost me at styrofoam cup 😅
Avongers Ensemble!
I got a fever! 6:01
You guys are really really on today 🎉
Ariana Grande actually released her own version of “The Boy is Mine” this year that was a hit and later a remix with Brandy so your younger audience does know that reference 🤣🙌
it was Brandy and Monica..... us old people still love you
She did get her Advil. Anagram for Vidal.
Advil = Vidal
Somewhere Token is going “Goddammit.”
