Awesome footage! I was wondering what it was like riding by yourself? I’ve ridden it with my buddies, but I would like to ride it by myself for a different perspective. I have a Garmin inReach and so on. Interested in your thoughts. I live just a couple hours from HS. Thanks
Riding with friends is always a good idea but some times that just doesn’t work out. If I had to wait for a riding partner every time I would be riding a lot less. I take a GPS with tracking, satellite texting, and SOS so the girlfriend can track my whereabouts in real time. I have an emergency blanket and fire starter in case I’m stuck overnight. And I always bring food and minimum 3L of water. I take a decently equipped tool kit. I also over-maintain the bike to minimize issues on the trail. An old Army ranger once told me “there are no poor conditions, only poorly prepared people”. Words to live by! LOL
Yes I carry about the same amount of stuff. Lol… a person always has to be ready to spend a night in the woods. I ride by myself ~90% of the time. As you probably know a person who is riding alone, well you have to back it down a couple of notches which means that you can’t attack stuff as much as you want to. I have ridden the area since I was a kid, so I really enjoy you content. 🤙
Thanks for sharing what trail you are riding. Probably never gonna happen but would love to hit up a bunch of single track in different areas and it’s nice having trail labeled. You got a new subscriber just for that alone. I don’t do videos but if I ever do, I’ll invite people to visit and give directions to my hometown trails
Thanks for posting this along with your other videos. I’m planning a trip next August with my son. Super helpful!
Sure thing! Hope you enjoy the trail as much as I did!

Fun stuff! Did that one 3 times this year and it never disappoints. Good riding!
I need to spend a week out there and ride ALL the trails around Sargents!

Glad you like the videos! Hope you get out there and hit some Singletrack in CO.
This trail doesn't look very fun at all. All work and no play.
You know, I’m going to agree with that statement. The Forrest and the views at the top make it worth it, but it is a grueling trail otherwise.
