I do scan an item if i'm unsure on the value, but the last thing i'd bother doing is scanning 100+ items just to find a couple of gems. You're correct, it's better to just learn over time what has resale value and what doesn't. Plus it doesn't take very long before you get an eye for more desirable titles, like horror dvds or punk cds etc.
Yup! Don't get me wrong, scanning is very helpful at times, I just wish he would do it AFTER I got to browse the section lol

Do you just record the whole time. That kid kicking the rc car is so funny. You always seem to find the strangest moments at these flea markets and capture them. Makes this channel extremely unique.
Thanks! No I don't record the whole time. The battery would run out too quick and would make finding the clips in editing a pain in the rear. I usually just look for interesting things and film them. I have missed a few funny moments and that is always a bummer.

Yup, cassettes have been gaining popularity for a while. I think the guy selling them in this video probably saw a video like that, because he was not giving them away for super cheap, but I still got a pretty good deal.

Not always is a single stitch on a tee meanbits vintage. Many companies still used double stitch. But most times a vintage shirt wont have a backprint tag
True! I found one recently that I thought might be vintage but the back tag was a dead give away it isn't.

Mystery Games! When you are looking for cassettes what genres are you looking for? I just found that Zelda game complete and the guy sold it to me for $2. I couldn't believe I found one let alone the price point. CELL DAMAGE!!! It was my favorite game as a kid! It was such a blast! You need to try it!
I mostly look for 90's alternative, Punk, Heavy Metal, and Rap. Not only because they have value but that is also what I like to listen to. I also like classic rock but those are more common so less exciting to find.

100% on the scanners, the ones at savers just grab all the new colors and half the time miss on all the best ones because they don’t actually care about movies they’re just looking to scan as much as possible
Yup. I was at Savers one time and a guy had a whole carriage of books but he left behind a hardcover of "Stephen King as Richard Bachman", an 80 dollar book, because it didn't have a barcode for him to scan.

The old Hasbro ones can have value. If you aren't sure the value of a toy or even what toy it is you can always take a picture of it and do a google image search

I used to work at K Mart in the late 1980’s during high school. They had a restaurant similar to a diner like Denny’s. They had lines of customers based on their specials, and, yes, the food was good. Not 5 star, but diner good. Don’t knock what you haven’t tried.

@@boscodooley8561 Not taking it personal, just commenting that when I worked there, it was popular. I didn't eat there very much, but yes, you are right. Lots of old timers enjoying liver and onions. They had a good fish fry on Fridays. I didn't have enough break time to sit and enjoy. Sorry, didn't mean to sound like I was offended.

OK Seriously, 6:21 I’m a horrible person, if you start making noises like that before you give me a price and you have to hold the item in your hand then I might just think about turning and walking away before you even tell me the price because you’re trying to get out good deal for yourself and not help out a friend. This is a flea market. What the heck is with these venders?
How much was the Tool "Salival" cd? I bought it new in 2000. It's hard to find in good condition. Also, did you notice the machete in the black sheath? Keep scoopin'
He wanted $40 for it. It sells for about double that I think but didn't want to invest that much.

Well that is the reason. I found it very depressing to watch. I did like the first 15 minutes but the torture stuff went on way too long.
