Fast Forward to Queensland: Shaw Is. to Gulnare Inlet, Whitsunday Is. 31JUL24.

After being buffeted by winds and waves for a few days now at Thomas Island, I thought it was time to do something different. on some good advice I heard that Gulnare Inlet was one of the best anchorages in the Whitsundays.
Located on the southern coast of Whitsunday Island it was also nice and close to Hamilton Island where I need to be on the 4th of August.
Under a half jib I left Shaw Island and made my way north, with the wind towards my destination. the wind was still very strong around 20 knots and the seas were quite steep. homemade very good speed with the tide and with the wind also surfing on some of those waves.
the destination was well worth the trip and I look forward to some peaceful days and good nights sleep.
