just need to bring to y'alls attention in case you don't know that there is a defensive back on the Dolphins named Storm Duck. First name Storm last name Duck. He came on the screen on Thanksgiving and me and my friends went insane over him for pretty much the next hour 😭
According to a 2017 article, cold weather games have the following effects on average: punts are 3 yds shorter, passing completion is 2% less, FG percentage is 2% less and scoring stays roughly the same. In addition, dome teams win 20% of their games when in cold weather and warm weather teams win 37%.
On this cold argument… I will point out that the high powered passing offense of the Cleveland Browns was unaffected by the snow. Apollo may remember this well since he watch his Steelers lose on that night if i remember correctly
The thing that concerns me about Ben Johnson is that the lions have by far the best and most amount of weapons in the league. Whatever team he goes to will have a fraction of what the lions have
You guys seem to be dismissing the Bills Defense and how strong they have been throughout McDermott's tenure. They have had weak spots, and bad games, but generally they're in the top5 defenses every year, while healthy.
Literally everyone I hear talk about the Panthers' 1st round draft pick says O-line, meanwhile they have the 8th ranked O-line per PFF and their defense is 32nd against the run and I think 31st against passing. I get that no one really watches the Panthers outside of highlights, but it starts to get under my skin after I hear it enough. They need to take Mason Graham or Abdul Carter in the 1st and probably not pick anything offense until the 3rd or 4th round.
Taysom Hill was 27 in his rookie year, so even though he's 34 now, his body has the same level of pro football wear and tear on it as the average 28-29 year old (really a bit less, since he didn't play much his rookie year and he doesn't play *a lot* of snaps per game)
On weather and games. Weather, fairness or coolness have nothing to do with each other. Weather is a part of life. Sports are competitive. You should not take out the element of weather. What next? Athletes train in different weather, humidity, latitude, longitude, turf, temperature, they eat different foods, drink different drinks, take different vitamins and suplements. What next? We will regulate the temperatures and humidity? The water the players drink? The altitude or the oxygen saturation in the air? You can go forever into the minucia of fairness, but it is not needed. Sports are competitive. The winner takes it all, the winner standing small. That is all.
If all stadiums have to have a roof then only the pepole who hate snow games should be taxed to build them, cause you know for damn sure none of the owners are paying to put a roof on
Put everyone in a dome and make everything “fair” and you just take all the flavor and feel out of the game. Teams and stadiums having these different feels to them is better for the game and you don’t want everything to be samey and sterile.

I blame Rob for making me a Jets fan, only for me to become stuck in the endless pit of despair
Reading all the Jets fan sadness makes me realize I lucked out because Crendor got me into the NFL, thus I became a Packers fan.
Can't help but feel bad for Rob.
His misery was ordained the day he became a Jets fan

The clicking and clacking of the keyboard really added to the x files ending of the intro... so majestic

That hill at minute maid park wasnt even the worst part, there was a flag pole in the middle of the damned hill for like no reason at all

Remember the hope Jets fans had 2 years ago when they thought Rodgers was going to get them a Superbowl win. Lol
On weather and games.
Weather, fairness or coolness have nothing to do with each other.

Dan to return to the show?
The Jets did better last year without Rodgers.
If all stadiums have to have a roof then only the pepole who hate snow games should be taxed to build them, cause you know for damn sure none of the owners are paying to put a roof on
If we're talking player safety then tear down metlife
I don't want to wish death on anyone, but I feel like the Jets are going to remain cursed until Joe Namath dies.

Some pepole were going over the ending of the raiders game like it was the zapurder film it's like they all forgot it was the raiders and they suck
the anti weather argument is ridiculous. Please god never make all the stadiums domes
Browns fans are like aliens, they are out there somewhere, we just can't find them.
Apollo saying Josh Allen is top 10 all time is fucking wild.
I think he meant that Josh Allen is top 10 in QB's that make their coach look better than they are.
Not really he looks like John Elway without the superbowl
I mean he’s not even the best bills qb of all time
