This is cool didn't know about this techniques in culturvating mushrooms wonder how good it work or gourmet mushrooms are expensive at stores. Reminds me being a kid and getting sea monkeysfor pets 😂🤔
Just make your own. It's just 5% sugar water. Use honey or maple syrup at about 10% since they're about 50% sugar, use silicone over a hole in the top of the jar for an injector port, and cram an earplug in a second hole for gas exchange, or use a filter sticker. Then steam sterilize or pressure cook and innoculate when cool.
So they injected spores or liquid culture. Liquid culture is usually a solution of some sort of sugar water so the mycelium can grow from its nutrients in the liquid. So basically the same liquid they are squirting it in, is the same as what the jar already has in it (besides mycelium that’s only in the syringe). I’m not actually sure what liquid is usually used for spores when being kept in the syringe tho. Spores need to germinate to make mycelium so I’d assume just a distilled water or sterilized solution that won’t grow any bacteria.

Yeah, this can be a great way to grow gourmet mushrooms!
This is really cool. I really need to get into this

Thank you 👍👍
No problem 👍
Game changer 👏🏽
After this do you use the liquid culture to innoculate plugs and/or other media?
Yes most often an all-in-one bag or a grain bag 🙂
How long cand you store it in the fridge?
Usually a few months is ok but the sooner you use it, the better
brilliant
How long is “long term storage” specifically? Is that a month? multiple months?
4 months
I'd say several months 🙂
You had me at x30
🌞 blessings ❤️🔥
So sad that you don’t ship in Europe…
I know 😕
You can do this yourself to :)

What did you inject into it? Is it water?

You inject your spores or liquid culture into the expander liquid and then from the expander liquid into your substrate 🙂
@@NorthSporewhat is the content of the liquid you injected
@@GloryOkonko-n1dits spores or liquid culture, normally gourmet mushrooms (or magic mushrooms not necessarily what this is intended for)
Haha, so sterilized sugar water.
Yep, basically.
