The Philippines is in the pathway of typhoons and in the ring of fire of earthquakes. That's why we should strongly build our shelters/buildings to adapt to the situation.
Perhaps the typhoon you recently experienced is just in signal number 2 or 3... here in the Philippines we usually have signals 5 to 7 (super typhoons)... magnitude 6 to 7.8 for the earthquakes as well.

La acción del viento ejerce una presión básica y al construir una extructura se debe de tomar en cuenta la presión de diseño. Al no tener una cimentación con emparrillado y la falta de castillos no existe una flexión de las columnas por lo que la presión del viento fractura la base. La madera o el bambú por sus características tienen cierto grado de flexibilidad y no oponen tanta resistencia al viento. Tu eres muy trabajadora y creativa y se que vas a salir adelante con tu gran fuerza de voluntad. Lo importante es que tu estés bien y saludable. The roof is a bad design. It allows for the wind to enter full force, then traps the air flow at the end, so the air has to push harder to leave, and then the build-up rips the roof off. You need open air flow at the back to release the trapped air. This will continue to happen whenever there is another storm of this magnitude where the wind is coming straight on.

Погодные условия при строительстве нужно учитывать, уже неоднократно писала, что у вас постоянные тайфуны и пример уже был, а строите всë на "соплях", очень жаль, что такое случилось. Жаль не в чëм не повинную птицу. Это уже второй случай с тайфуном, тогда весь лес пришлось спилить. Удивляюсь, что столбы электропередачи не повалило. У нас таких жутких тайфунов не бывает и то столбы вкапывают не менее ем на 1метр и делают заливку у основания бетоном или дополнительно ставят бетонные столбики в связке.Мне жаль, но вы справитесь, правда птицу не вернуть.
