    Far and away the best arrangement of this tune on youtube. Love the semitone up at the end. And it's highly addictive.

    The antidote to the troubles of the world --- a dancing, flying, swinging, prancing piano solo. Delightful.

    I've just bought the piano roll of this from Julian Dyer and it's worth every penny ! I just can't stop playing it on our pianola.
    I just wish that there was a midi version of this too so that I could play it on our Disklavier !!

    Love it. The harmonies, the countermelodies with their little unique rhythm patterns are just great!

    Allow me to settle the argument! This is a promo for a new music roll by me. As always it is for the pianolist to perform the music as to their own desires. This online promo is purely so intending buyers can get an idea of the score - how they perform it is entirely up to them. The sound you hear is deliberately uniform without added dynamics and similarly is processed via Pianoteq so as to give the widest range of people with different pianos the easiest understanding of the score. Adam :)

    It's not fair... I just can't stop listening. Beginning at 0:48 the right hand countermelody (3 beats per quarter note) and those so perfect harmonies intertwining with the base melody just gives me a high - really, no kidding - like a drug. I literally cannot remember when would I listen to a tune even half as many times as this, repeatedly.
    Is something wrong with me?

      A bit late, but little to the piano accompaniment of Noel Coward's "Poor Little Rich Girl." Similar countermelody all the way through.

    I like this song very much, great version, and would like to find a piano roll of it but I really don't like the tinny electric piano. Thanks for posting this.

    Very many thanks - I've been in contact with him. You wouldn't be Adam Ramet by any chance? Cheers, John

    there is an email for Julian at the foot of the page - type the email address into your email program and just drop him a message. The address is not a click-link so as to prevent spammers but just read the addresses and type it in and you'll be fine. regards, Adam

    If the type of piano is all you can comment on and hear, then you are musically (and rhythmically) deaf as a doorpost; you literally do not "get" any of this music, none.

    When can we hear the sound of the Bluethner piano (ue implies the umlaut)? We understand the treble notes have four strings, one of which is sympathetically heard an octave higher. All we can hear is a poor electronic substitute, and we are interested n the dynamics. Take your time and repost . Thanks.

    Nice, but what a pic of a Blüthner when it's electronic‽ Let's hear it on the Blüthner!

  • @flugelmaniac
    @flugelmaniac 12 років тому

    Check Clarionas comment below........I am not the only one who can hear this is patently NOT a Bluthner pianola ,let alone any sort of real acoustic piano.....

    Would you care to explain to this ignoramus what tells you that this is an electronic instrument? Sounds OK to me.

  • @flugelmaniac
    @flugelmaniac 13 років тому +1

    would sound much nicer on a real piano.....(rather than this electronic one)
