We love your videos! They have been so helpful in setting up and customizing our watches. Can you do a video on the Navigation options particularly Track Back? Thanks!
hi there.all of your video is helpfull for me to setup my instinct.you do a great job 💪 by the way for this video,is it before open the garmin explore apps,i must save the location first in my watch or not?
I’m planning to purchase Garmin Instinct for site visit, and your vid is very useful, thanks. You’ve set the gps in this vid, but how to record tracks in the Instinct watch so I can see the pathways that I had previously walked on?
Yes you can. If you follow this video this would be how you do it. In the video I don't show all the options but UTM is one of the GPS format options you can choose. I hope this helps - ua-cam.com/video/KKyya-0feAk/v-deo.html
I’m sorry if this have been asked before but i have been searching for hours. If I have an MGRS grid point, how do I put it into the watch to be able to navigate to that point? Do I use the app?
With the Instinct you would want to use Garmin Explore. . . . enter the GPS coordinates and save the waypoint/location. Then sync to your Instinct. . . . then you would have it as a saved location on your Instinct and could navigate to it. Other models like the Fenix or Forerunner you could just enter the GPS coordinates and begin navigating: ua-cam.com/video/12Cunll0HoM/v-deo.html
Yes, it is actually available as a data element meaning you can have it viewable on the watch face at all times. So you can see your current time, as well as UTC time. Hope that helps.
Yes. The GPS sensor is on the watch, it has nothing to do with your smartphone. You can use the GPS on the watch and not even have your cell phone with you. However to use Garmin Explore as I show in this video, you would need the cell phone. I hope that helps and makes sense.
Thank you for letting me know about Garmin explore app
If not this vid, I would have not known about the Garmin Explore app! Thnx!
All this advice on the watch is really helpful, thank you so much. My Instinct Solar is on order and I can't wait to get started with it.
Glad the videos helped, enjoy your Instinct!

Can the watch show the coordinates in UTM format instead of degrees? Thank you for the video. Great work!

What happens if I already use the Garman connect app to record my events does this interfere using this app also?
Tnx, for this cool info :)
Thank you
Great video! Can you do it without internet? Because in my experience you lose many features when you are in the middle of nowhere
Awesome thanks for this video.

Can you set gps coordinates to a place you are going to visit? We are going kayaking and have coordinates already to locate.

This only works if you have only saved ONE waypoint. For multiple waypoints on the same day, they must be re-named or they will be overwritten.
Is there a way to have just a map on your instinct to show where you are and not where to go
Do we have UTC time on this watch?
Yes, it is actually available as a data element meaning you can have it viewable on the watch face at all times. So you can see your current time, as well as UTC time. Hope that helps.
Help can't get my watch to sync to Garmin Explore app .I do have a account.
Can I share that location to another apps such as WhatsApp?
Is it possible for the watch to display my GPS position without having to connect to a smartphone?
Yes. The GPS sensor is on the watch, it has nothing to do with your smartphone. You can use the GPS on the watch and not even have your cell phone with you. However to use Garmin Explore as I show in this video, you would need the cell phone. I hope that helps and makes sense.
In 0:30 the second digit disappeared when was 50.
