The price of the food you got is insanely high, well compared to where I am. Like one corn for 100 pesos, wow that's gold price 😂.. oh well it's a tourist destination 😉

tourist trap el nido. price of chicken bbq and grilled corn are doubled up. try places away from the town center and you will get cheaper prices.
I remember when i was like 6 years old , i was like telling my mom to cook western food because my non asian friends won't like what we eat .

You've got the time of your life. Such a beautiful place in the Philippines. And this is one of the many beautiful places in the Philippines. There are lots of exceptional places to go to. And the foods are delicious. You're barely scraping the surface, sir and ma'am. Enjoy your stay in our country.
Avoid riding trike, its very uncomfi for you, just go with motorbike or e-trike much ok
El Nido and Siargao are both touristy and my favorite place ever👍❤️

You mention that other places aren't as nice looking when you compare pics vs reality. May i ask what those places are? For research purposes as I've been poiled by the beaches in the Philippines.
Many in other Southeast Asian countries. I won't mention them especially the one that is most popular among tourists! This is coming from someone who has been to many Asia-Pacific countries
