Paco is the greatest guitar player ever. His technique,his dive into the music, every single piece he plays can take lifetime for an ordinary human to learn. Just like he said:"I was learning to play guitar just like a child's learning to speak".
When it comes to guitar playing and composition alone, Vicente Amigo is the best ever was. Paco is the greatest in general, but he's not the greatest at everything. Vicente is a better performer and a better composer. My favorite flamenco guitarist, no doubt.

Without him it would remain traditional, nonetheless the world is full of a variety of great guitarists such as Vicente and many others whom continue his legacy through the music. but the pedestal and throne of Flamenco remains seated with the goat (Paco). Long story short: Everyone is a student of Paco's.
