Procedure for DVD Recycled Butterfly
HI Friends..
With out throwing your old DVDs, you can make this beautiful recycling craft.
For this, you need an old DVD. First separate the DVD in to two parts with the help of a sharp cutter as shown in the video. Then draw the picture of a Butterfly with black colour Permanent Marker. Cut the pattern with a sharp knife. Now cut two Antennas also and attach it with the head part of the butterfly using hot glue gun.

Wow that is not what I was expecting honestly from the thumbnail I thought you had a black butterfly and you glued Mosaic pieces out of the CD on to it, I didn't think that the whole entire thing was CDs this is really creative and turns out looking so cute!! 😍 Good job!!

Super Cute! I 💘 THE 🌈 Effect that you can get from that Beautiful Side Of DVDs/CDs! But I didn't know that THEY Came Apart like that~ very cool as it's so much easier to cut them, as you showed. A bunch of THOSE butterflies would make for a fabulous sun catcher.

I saw in another video if you soak the cds/dvds in very hot water for 5 to 10 minutes they soften enough to make cutting with scissors much easier.

Hi.. Sabari.. Thanks.. CD v can't separate like this.. So it's better to use DVD.. V can easily separate DVDs as show in the video..
And after separating DVDs, v can easily and neatly cut it with scissors..as shown in the video.. Plz check how I did in the video..

Have you tried to put a CD in the microwave oven? In just 3 seconds it fractures and is amazing. Be careful if you try this, only 3 or 4 seconds.

Warming the CD will make it more pliable.
You can safely seperate dvds and cds by soaking them in boiling water for 10 minutes to avoid cutting them and potentially cutting yourself lol
