I'm sending you a big "Thank you" for this explanation as it almost drove me crazy. I'm from Sweden and we use a comma to separate but now I've managed to get it to work. It made a huge difference to find this. Once again - Thank you!

I love that you touch on these core but neglected points in most power apps training videos. I would like to learn more about the tıps using Fx, especially the simple and the most used ones according to your experience so far. Really helpful video, thanks!

10 times thanks Shane for this tuto for a French user (and ex SharePoint MVP ;-) ) Difficult to understand the fact that Power FX syntax is different with a french browser) now I can understand and adapt your other tutos.

    Another great video, thanks Shane.
Some inputs for your next video:
When making apps my browser is english, and it works fine, but most of my users browser is danish, so need to format every date and number, to make sure they see it right.
Remember start of the week is also different in many countries and will result in errors or users scratching their head if not set right.

Great video as always! It would be nice to cover nested functions/formulas, just sot of of how to think about them? Also, what are the key formulas that most of the time would be present in certain App that you should know about? Like a list of the TOP 10-most used ones that you must master! Also in that topic, what elements you should have present in an App to make sure it runs and performs well! Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

🤣🤣 Laughing to death from this. I am from 🇳🇴Norway, and needed this "IDK it says something different (French) now…"
Up here in the north we are using comma as a decimal separator. So thanks for this, Shane!

What happens to the ";;" when you open the French app in an English browser? Are the converted to a single ";"? Or does the app break? 😁

Just ignore it. 🙂 Basically it is supposed to be a disambiguation operator aka when you have the same word like Value available as a function and a column name you can say I mean THIS Value. But seriously, it is so confusing I just ignore it. I have never in all of my years needed it for anything.

Hey Shane, Need your help. Can you please help me with using Time funtions (like capturing varius timezones) in a form. For example, I would like to use Capture CET, UTC times zone along with IST, GMT.
Did I confuse you? I'm trying to capture time of the requestor in GNT and allocating the task to a person sitting in India Standard Time. Does it make sense?
