Jim - thanks for the videos! Always great content. Keep ‘em coming. Had a bad weather trip on the Tomahawk last year and Captain Dave said we’re gonna head in early but hunt for em on the return. 3 hours later at 12:30 am he called everyone out of their bunks and we all limited in 1-1/2 hrs. I was next to Dave as he hauled in the last fish of the morning, easily 100lb +. He turned and was yelling with excitement, whooping and hollering! It was cool to see his love of fishing and happiness for the men that were on deck that night. True definition of epic. Awesome crew and boat. The San Diego Sportfishing industry is amazing and I hope it can continue for my grandsons and daughters.
All the best Jim.
Fisherman’s Landing does indeed have everything, just very, very overpriced. Best tackle store for my money is Ken’s Custom Reel in Oceanside, CA. Great selection and the best reel repair and service in the nation.
they have to pay the marina 15% tax that is why they are more expensive than but great last minute stop
Good luck Jim and thanks for showing fisherman's landing tackle shop , 😅😅😅😅tight lines, catchem up , wsiring to see it,
The landing I great to get last minute hot biting jigs. San Diego charges an extra 15% tax on the landings hence all their stuff is about 15% higher than msrp.
By the way at my age I had stopped "chasing tail" long ago, I am now just "chasing fins." 😂
Anglers Choice on Rosecrans is a way better store. The store you are in is for tourist and over priced.
I did a Anglers Choice video with Luke that is where my Okuma 16 came from
Another great tackle shop is Island Fishing Tackle in Carson. Ask for Sam. He’s the man!
Love the tackle shop tours!!!!!👍
thanks John
