It is three sheet sets. According to my grandmother it's one on the bed one in the hamper and one in the cupboard. I fold mine and put them inside the pillow cases to keep them neat and organized. Love your videos no matter what your talking about it always gets me motivated to clean and organize my home. Thank you!!
I remember those early videos when you showed how you were going from overwhelming clutter to being organized. I think the best thing about these ongoing videos is that decluttering is a habit. I know I need to practice letting go of things. So any time I have a chance to practice that behavior is a good thing for me, regardless of how little I'm actually letting go of. I need the practice!!
I swear I decluttered a year ago and kept just 2 sets per bed. I swear just 2, one for on, one for off. I cleaned again recently and found more sets....where did they come from? You are so right it has to be a habit.
Best tip is once you have de-cluttered every time you buy a new item get rid of an old one. So if I buy 2 new tops, I look for 2 old ones to get rid of 😁 X
Honey, I will never judge anyone for how much or how little they declutter. On some of the challenge, like the freezer, it was already done for me, so I focused on something else. Also, I have areas where I don't get rid of that much, and others where I take out full garbage bags, like the garbage bag of junk I threw out from my kids' room this weekend. Thanks for challenging all of us to do this with you! Love and hugs and blessings❣
If you're wondering what to do with old sheets and towels that are past giving to Goodwill, call your local animal shelter. They will most likely be able to put them to good use.
Yes! and my next door gas station is always so glad to get my old stained dishcloths and towels, too. I do keep two extra bath towels that are old and ratty to use if the bathtub or toilet overflow, and I use one of them under the ironing board when I spray the ironing.
This REALLY motivates me. I assumed you had marathon decluttering sessions when your house was at its messiest, and did 15 minute decluttering later. You did 15 minute sessions from the beginning?! That makes me feel it is possible! Thank you!
Karen E I remember when two of mine were sick like that at the same time, it was awful! In that instance they just slept on towels and were too sick to care. Poor chickies!
You won’t find a more ‘real’ person on UA-cam: you lady are a Godsend: I absolutely love the fact that you don’t fold it! Thanks for keeping it so real so relatable and helping those of us that were completely OVERWHELMED until we found you: I tell everyone about you! 💞
I keep 2 sets of sheets for each bed. That’s all I really need. I did a big haul off in the spring and it sure makes you feel better. Have a great day 👍
Oh my goodness! I love how you fold your sheets! LOL! Not only are you getting your decluttering points across, but you're keeping our interest with humor! :-D
You have inspired me, today is day six of cleaning and purging. Let me say my hubby loves you. He hates clutter and is so happy I started watching you. I was a clutter bug also and woman you are funny. I don't find many people funny, but every video I'm laughing. Very much enjoying going through the older videos.
Tucking everything into a pillow case is such an amazing idea.. the number of times I can’t find the matching pillowcase is too many to mention! going to steal that one for sure! ❤️
This series is so helpful and motivating. When I first started watching you it jump started my decluttering. My linen closet wasn’t terrible but tonight I completely reorganized it and was able to pull items that were being stored in other rooms. Thank you for your daily dose of motivation! 💕🎉
I never really understood the multiple sheet sets. Well, one extra for kids I understand in case they're sick. Whenever I wash my bedset it just goes right back on a couple hours later. I like that mindset! It's definitely good for a habit! I've been doing a major declutter over the past couple months (and I already live fairly simply) and have been following along with you. My sister keeps saying "You have nothing to get rid of!" but I still keep finding things that I don't need/want. It's an ongoing process.
Some people (like me) don’t use/have dryers, which means you can’t rely on the fact that your sheets will be dry in a couple of hours - so a spare is needed
Emma I can understand that! I just feel like most people I know (particularly my family) have so many extras that they never use, even when they wash their regular set.
There's always that day when you go down to the laundry room and the machine is broken. It's nice to have a spare set to use. There's always that night when you throw up in bed or start your period unexpectedly or any other gross thing. It's nice to have a spare set then too.
I have two sets for my bed and two for my son's. I thought I needed more, you just made me feel great for having the right amount of sheets. Thank you!!!
I have just done our bathroom and purged about 30 items it now looks so much more functional now. Linens are later in the week as i just bought 2 more bed sheets so i can get rid of the old ones as i wont be using them! I going through the whole house and i have gave my self 2 weeks as then its the youngest birthday so toys need sorting and then the eldest is having his tonsils out so i want a clean house thats easy to keep on top of
"This is how you fold a bottom sheet" 😂😂😂 You literally make my day Cass! Thank you for lifting my spirits by making me nearly pee my pants from laughing!
Winter sheets, Christmas sheets, and 2 sets for the rest of the year is my limit so I am caught up on this challenge today. I store my sheets in the bottom drawer of the drier! In their pillow cases
we have so much in common with the linens! I parted with all the top sheets and all the extras. one to wash, one to wear. one extra blanket for each bed. i fold pillow cases, but a big nooo on the sheets, lol. And, I declutter one little chunk at a time. the approach works so great!
Oh man that sheet folding technique is awesome. I have tried watching many videos and can never get them to look the same. Thanks for doing these videos, super inspiring!
Hahah cracked up when you started to fold and then quickly jumbled up the sheets!! And usually it’s 1 sheet on the bed, 1 in the laundry, and 1 in storage! :)
Thank you!! Your little speech at the end was what I needed to hear! I love watching you and knew I should be doing this right along with you, but had no motivation. Tomorrow I will begin with day one work my way through the videos and the list. Thank you for being such an inspiration!!💖💟😀
I love how you have rando messy areas too!! My hubs and I just switched closets last night. I literally open the door and throw my clothes in then shut the door and run!
I was fairly decluttered to begin with. i’m going through this program and I have already taken a load of stuff to Goodwill and it feels great! Thank you Cass 😘😘
Love these videos!! I am a "little" behind ... soooo today, being trash pick up day, I spent 15 minutes and wiped and decluttered the fridge door. Just imagine if I do that every trash pickup day this month, a shelf at a time. I also did under the kitchen sink AND the bathroom sink (last week), because I wanted to use organizers under the bathroom sink under the kitchen sink ... it looks great, and it feels great.
I like having set amount of space or set amount of number for things to keep things manageable. I have 2 sets of sheets ..1 set I am using and 1 clean set under my bed in the clear plastic bag that it came in . My mom has probably 20 sets that are new and old and take up the entire linen closet. I no longer want to live with things ... just the ones I love or need.
Been loving this series and although all the areas that you have covered so far I did recently, I've gone back, just in case. Also tackled major paper clutter and my attic. So, Thank you for the motivation. Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁
That is EXACTLY how I fold my sheets as well!!! You are a breath of fresh air. My day is better when I start by watching one of your videos. You are hilarious!
My dad is a Marine so I can fold towels and sheets like a professional!😂 When I put my fitted sheet on my bed, there are no wrinkles and you could bounce a quarter on it! Apparently I'm OCD about it because it drives me crazy when I watch UA-cam videos and the sheets are all wrinkled! Thanks dad! 😂
I love sheets and have too many I only have three sets, now. My daughter got rid of all my stuff, she only Brought one of my sets so I bought more. But I usually was and put right back on. Wish I had your linen Closet.💕👍😃
So I always check to see if you have new videos up when I go to UA-cam. You are my #1 favorite! It has been like Christmas every morning to have this series! YAY! On the topic of linens, we just redecorated my daughter's room and we replaced her twin comforter. The old one had a few stains on it, so I didn't feel I could sell them or give them to Goodwill, so I took it into The Humane Society. I thought the lady was going to jump over the counter, she was so excited to get such a large cloth item. She said sometimes they get larger dogs and animals and they don't have beds large enough for them, so this was perfect! They also love shoe boxes.....so linens and shoe boxes are great for our furry friends! :)
Towels, blankets, and flat sheets are always needed at animal shelters! Especially if they already show a little wear, you might as well throw them to the dogs :)
I do fold mine, and would really like to hang them out on the line, which 1/2 folds them, and they smell sooooo good, but I can't do that right now. But rolling them up works for you and that's what counts! A short story for you, my mother taught all of her 8 children to fold everything, including all underwear. Then, sometime after she got to be over 80, I looked in her underwear drawer and found them all just put in there, no folding at all. I asked her about it and she said she had better things to do than fold underwear. She was very active and in good health until her late 80's and was never really ill, just wound down and passed away at 90. I fold my underwear!!!!
Adele CHICKEN Why wouldn't you fold your underwear? It's never crossed my mind to just toss anything in the drawer... I feel like it's disrespecting what we are lucky enough to have. Maybe it's just me, or maybe it's cultural. Idk.
I think we mostly do as we are taught, and if our parent doesn't do it, we will only do it differently if someone else teaches us. We also have to be open to learning, and that doesn't mean that what we do is wrong, it just means that we may find a better way or a way that now works better for us. You tube can be a great tool for teaching us, I just learned how to knit dishcloths on the diagonal, after doing many from a different pattern, that worked, but these work better. I feel like I learn something almost every day, and hope I will for many years yet.
Those sheets wadded up in bins would drive me crazy. Also animal.shelters can always use sheets and towels. And 3 sets of sheets per bed is the minimum. You need to use a top sheet. They keep your comforters from getting gross.
Love the inspiration! I have so much baking stuff that I'm not using. I want to start a baking business but my kids are too little so I'm going to let go of some stuff! Thanks for the videos!!
Just FYI: Emily Post recommends three sets of sheets for each bed. That is one on, one for changing and an extra set for the FLU !!! So if someone has vomited, or has diarea, diorea, diareahea? well, the runs! then you have an extra set for an emergency. LOL!
I thought I decluttered my house. So when I saw this series pop up, I was like “yeah yeah, ive already decluttered utinsels. I already got rid of Tupperware. I already xyz”. Then I watched the videos and went back to each area an OH MY GOODNESS!! I got rid of sooooooo much more stuff!! I realized I was holding on to things just because they e always taken up that space so I was kind of immune to it actually being clutter. I had 6 paring knives. They came in a set for $1 at Walmart and they’ve always lived in my cutlery drawer. Now wait a minute....when would I ever need to use 6 paring knives all at the same time??? Never!!! Lol. I kept 2.
I have found the best way to stay uncluttered is to not buy the stuff. I have 2 sets of sheets. Cotton for summer and flannel for winter. That is it. I take them off the bed and wash dry and replace all in one day. It works.
Yassss girl!! I am LOVING these declutter videos!! My husband thanks you, too!! Our house is transforming!!! Eeeep! It's addicting! I'm sharing on my channel, too, if you have time to check it out! Hugs, Candice
If looking to donate flat sheets, blankets and towels, consider contacting your local humane society. Our humane society uses tons of towels for cage cleaning and blankets, quilts, etc. for dog enclosures.
Bahahahahhaha I love how you fold your sheets. I do the same. I hate folding sheets so I just roll them or half A do it and put them in the matching pillow case. Not to mention I don't like the top sheet either. My husband and actually have our own blankets because I move alot and will leave in without a blanket lol.
I love how you fold the fitted sheet! Lol. Thats how my husband folds my clothes if he does the laundry because all my clothes are basically jersey fabric, lol. In his defense, I actually dont fold my clothes but roll them to put then in the drawers, lol.
I feel like if you did fold your sheets you would have more drawer space in general (maybe top sheets in one, bottom sheets in another). A good idea for sheets that you love but are either a bit ruined (ripped or stained) so you can't donate them is to turn them into pillow cases or curtains.
Lol the end of this video sounded like one of your podcast 😂😘😘😘 wished I lived closer cause I need sheet sets lol. If the stuff that you are donating is good why don’t you ask your subscribers if they would be interested and give them away 👍🏻 that might be a great idea 💡 lol. Thumbs up this comment if you think this is good so Cas can see it 👍🏻
CJs Beauty World, That's a great idea or see any other items to... hopefully Cass will start something like that. Also wouldn't be delightful if Cass came up with another idea to keep the changelle going?!. God bless you and your day.
Iam decluttering because of that reason you mention at the end! I didnt knew where to start because everything was messy and full of stuff. We are at day 10 and i have like 5 moving boxes full of stuff that will go to the thrift store :D I follow a differnet order though and some cabinets took me two days XD but it helps setting the timer because i can stop after 15min, just breathe, and then start again tomorrow. (*sorry for my english iam dutch)
Linen folding champ 2017! lolol Also: Where is the story at the end of the video? I feel cheated. Also: Is it bad that I have a single extra sheet set for when I have company? The rest I wash once a week by simply stripping the beds. And we don't use top sheets at all. The beds are bare until laundry is done 😐 The End.
I'm the same way. I wash the bedding once a week and just put the same sheets on. We have extras since my husband sometimes have to take a couple pairs with him when he gets deployed, but that is it.
It is three sheet sets. According to my grandmother it's one on the bed one in the hamper and one in the cupboard. I fold mine and put them inside the pillow cases to keep them neat and organized. Same here!
Best tip is once you have de-cluttered every time you buy a new item get rid of an old one. So if I buy 2 new tops, I look for 2 old ones to get rid of 😁 X
Lesley Johnson yep! One in one out rule!

Thank you Veronica and Jessica, I phoned my local shelter this morning and they will take my old sheets. I'm glad to have found a good use for them!
Oh thank you! That's a wonderful idea!
Donate towels too to animal shelter or vets.
Yes! and my next door gas station is always so glad to get my old stained dishcloths and towels, too. I do keep two extra bath towels that are old and ratty to use if the bathtub or toilet overflow, and I use one of them under the ironing board when I spray the ironing.

Decluttering never ends. You have to keep doing it regularly. You are so inspirational ❤️❤️
I absolutely love how honest and real you are in these videos. 💕
Thank you. Every day my home looks better and the fam is loving it.
Sheets..1 set on the bed, 1 set in the laundry(or drawer)...that's all that's needed!
Melissa Geittmann This is my rule, too!
That's my rule.
Me too!
Two children with stomach flu at the same time taught me a new rule: for each occupied bed - one on the bed, one in the wash and one just in case!!
Karen E I remember when two of mine were sick like that at the same time, it was awful! In that instance they just slept on towels and were too sick to care. Poor chickies!
I also fold bottom sheets that way. I spat my coffee out when you did that. Legend
You won’t find a more ‘real’ person on UA-cam: you lady are a Godsend: I absolutely love the fact that you don’t fold it! Thanks for keeping it so real so relatable and helping those of us that were completely OVERWHELMED until we found you: I tell everyone about you! 💞
So nice to know I'm not the only one who "folds" their sheets this way!
We love you, Cas! Thanks for leading us through this 30-Day Process!
I keep 2 sets of sheets for each bed. That’s all I really need. I did a big haul off in the spring and it sure makes you feel better. Have a great day 👍

I take old towels and make them into rags. I love taking sheet sets and putting them inside coordinating pillow cases. Saves so much space.
Tucking everything into a pillow case is such an amazing idea.. the number of times I can’t find the matching pillowcase is too many to mention! going to steal that one for sure! ❤️

Rebecca I thought I am the only one who put back the same washed sheets after few hours. I don't keep extras. And I have no kids yet.
Some people (like me) don’t use/have dryers, which means you can’t rely on the fact that your sheets will be dry in a couple of hours - so a spare is needed
18uner I feel like it's one way to keep things simple!
Emma I can understand that! I just feel like most people I know (particularly my family) have so many extras that they never use, even when they wash their regular set.

I love you Cass, you're so real. Glad I have you in my life now and wish I would have found you earlier.
I love storing the sheets inside the pillowcase. Thank you for the tip!
Thank you!! Your little speech at the end was what I needed to hear! I love watching you and knew I should be doing this right along with you, but had no motivation. Tomorrow I will begin with day one work my way through the videos and the list. Thank you for being such an inspiration!!💖💟😀
Lol, "I know there's a right way to fold a bottom sheet, (whispers) I don't care". 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you!!!
Loved this video - empty drawers are the love of my life too! :)
I love how you have rando messy areas too!! My hubs and I just switched closets last night. I literally open the door and throw my clothes in then shut the door and run!
I LOVE THE WAY YOU FOLD YOUR SHEETS, just like me! who has time to fold them in that method they show on YT! lol!
I was fairly decluttered to begin with. i’m going through this program and I have already taken a load of stuff to Goodwill and it feels great! Thank you Cass 😘😘
My dad (the only one that can use the sewing machine) turned top sheets to bottoms by sewing the elastic.....i love it
Love these videos!!
Haha love your technique. We fold the top and bottom sheet and pop it all in the pillowcase. This is husband proof!!
Cannot get enough of these videos! I am super motivated to get de-cluttering!! Going to be sad when October is over 😂
Rachel Moyles me too it so motivation and fun.
I like having set amount of space or set amount of number for things to keep things manageable. I have 2 sets of sheets ..1 set I am using and 1 clean set under my bed in the clear plastic bag that it came in .

Oh how I love you videos, Cass! So excited that there's a new one every day for a month!! You are amazing!
I hit the like button before I even start watching the video..because I know it's going to be good...I love you clutter bug
Every bed in my home is a queen-sized bed. Yay! So I have lots of sets. My washer will do 2 sets at a time and that is what i prefer.
Only keep two sheet sets for each bed and work very well one goes to wash the other one to bed.
Rapunzel...your hair is gorgeous!
Thanks for sharing. I keep my linen drawer like you, rolled up in s pillow case lol, who really has time to argue with those things 😊
That is EXACTLY how I fold my sheets as well!!! You are a breath of fresh air. My day is better when I start by watching one of your videos. You are hilarious!
Your folding technique makes me so very happy 😁😁😁
You can get so much more in closet when u fold Kal Mari method. And it looks so neat.
This group has been good for my motivation . Thank you.
Awesome! For sheets...my rule is only two per bed! One to wash...one to wear...that's all you need!
LMFAO @ "folding" the sheets 😂Love you! Thanks for keeping it real, because you know 99.99% of us "fold" this way. The other 0.01% are lying 🤥
Thanks dad! 😂

I'd love to see a deep cleaning series like this one after this one 🤗❤️
I love that you don't fold fitted sheets! REBEL! ❤ you're the best!
It's just like....whhhhyyy? You don't get bonus points in life for doing stuff the hard way!
I love your sheet folding 😂😂😂 That’s how I do it as well. Who has time for that?! Lol 👍🏻✨💖
I just adore you. Thank you for all you do.

I love this series! This one was the most hilarious so far! Thanks!
One set for each bed and one extra for a makeshift bed if needed.. strip, wash and remake a bed in the same day.. now thats decluttering :-)
Love the inspiration! I have so much baking stuff that I'm not using. I want to start a baking business but my kids are too little so I'm going to let go of some stuff! Thanks for the videos!!
An empty drawer! I can't remember the last time I've seen one of those in my house! That would be a good goal to have for each room.
I love you so much, you keep everything so real!
My rule of thumb is "Every Home needs a red towel just in case there is a nosebleed"! There are no stains after they're washed! 😎
I will still fold my fitted sheets, but I'm stealing your technique for keeping the sets together =D Putting them in a pillow case is very clever!
You crack me up! I fold my sheets the same way...and then stuff them in a pillowcase. Lol
Just FYI: Emily Post recommends three sets of sheets for each bed. That is one on, one for changing and an extra set for the FLU !!! So if someone has vomited, or has diarea, diorea, diareahea? well, the runs! then you have an extra set for an emergency. LOL!
Loving this challenge...loving the inspiration!
Lol. love that sheet folding technique. Super fast.
I love how you fold a bottom sheet, I do the same thing!
You are hilarious, thank you for making me laugh!
I thought I decluttered my house. So when I saw this series pop up, I was like “yeah yeah, ive already decluttered utinsels. I already got rid of Tupperware. I already xyz”.
I dont usually declutter when watching your videos but you def got me throwing things away lol !
Cas, gotta be honest, I'm falling behind. Im still in the kitchen. Enjoying this so much!
Love your videos and your stories! Thanks for the inspiration to de- clutter!! Slow process for me but making progress!
Died laughing 🤣 I just love how she fold sheets, same girl
That's funny about the blankets. It's just me and my 2 girls, but we are blanket people. We keep them in most rooms of the house. :)
Hands down, my favourite video of yours 🤣🤣🤣
Hey, I love this!!! LOL, my kids only use the fitted sheet as well, no top sheet ...... and.... I fold the fitted sheet exactly like you do!!!
I feel like if you did fold your sheets you would have more drawer space in general (maybe top sheets in one, bottom sheets in another). A good idea for sheets that you love but are either a bit ruined (ripped or stained) so you can't donate them is to turn them into pillow cases or curtains.
I purged my linen closet and was able to donate it to the victims of the California fires in my area.
Yay!! Someone else that uses the same bottom sheet folding technique as me : )
Lol the end of this video sounded like one of your podcast 😂😘😘😘 wished I lived closer cause I need sheet sets lol.
Doing this would cost her for shipping, which from Canada can be pricey.
Too expensive to mail stuff in Canada!
Iam decluttering because of that reason you mention at the end! I didnt knew where to start because everything was messy and full of stuff. We are at day 10 and i have like 5 moving boxes full of stuff that will go to the thrift store :D
I follow a differnet order though and some cabinets took me two days XD
but it helps setting the timer because i can stop after 15min, just breathe, and then start again tomorrow.
(*sorry for my english iam dutch)
Thanks for keeping it real!❤
This is going to be a good project for me today.
Linen folding champ 2017! lolol
Also: Where is the story at the end of the video? I feel cheated.
Also: Is it bad that I have a single extra sheet set for when I have company? The rest I wash once a week by simply stripping the beds. And we don't use top sheets at all. The beds are bare until laundry is done 😐 The End.
I'm the same way. I wash the bedding once a week and just put the same sheets on. We have extras since my husband sometimes have to take a couple pairs with him when he gets deployed, but that is it.
