I graduated college this past spring and never went to any parties except for two Halloween parties with my roommates. Parties aren’t my scene bc they are overstimulating and bc of my social anxiety too stressful. I do not regret not going to any nor do I feel like I missed out. Only sometimes i feel sad I missed that seemingly „normal“ college experience of going to parties especially when its something that’s hyped up so much. So being able to vicariously „go“ to a party thru this video healed smth in me and made me feel validated in my experiences that I do have thank u auntie angel 🫂
I kno uve told us to tell u if anything bothers us while we watch and the tounge clicking sounds make me anxious. I kno some ppl love that sound only my misophonia makes it difficult for me to keep listening when I hear that sound. I love when u say the word instead such as „ok now we’re gonna put on the eyeshadow, ok brush brush brush brush“, or saying sound effects like „shooo shooo“ or even just the movements without sound effects too are all very calming and keeps me in the moment. I appreciate everything you do for us very much I’m only saying this bc I feel safe enough here to be authentic which includes my mental health of anxiety and misophonia. I love ur channel and the space uve created for us so much

What I can do from now on - if I do the tongue clicking - is put a warning in the description but I like saying the words more

I saw the title and had to watch this video. My Aunt Angel passed away when I was young, but I remember spending time with her like this whenever I got to visit. We would go shopping, play with makeup, and bake together every summer I saw her. She unfortunately didn’t get to see me graduate or start college, but it feels like this video coming up on my recommended feed is a way to say she’s still watching over me and with me every day. I’m in my 4th week of freshman year, and I’ve made a few acquaintances, but nothing serious. I’ve never been a party girl or had a group of friends in HS, I only have a few separate ones. Also, no romantic experiences at all :(. I’m at a community college, not a university. But I also work there and I’m practically there all day 🤷♀️
