Patricia, thank you. If it weren’t for you and your videos filled with encouragement, positivity, and inspiration I don’t know if I would have continued in this industry. As a fellow mom and agent, you have truly shown me what is possible and taught me not to let my doubts rule my decisions. Anyways, just wanted to tell you that! I know all the positivity and good energy you have poured into so many will return to you ten-fold. ❤
Hello and thank you so much for your informative videos!!! I have learned so much and have grained confidence to become an independent agent. I was wondering if the carrier shows you how to fill out the application and all there specific underwriting requirements once you get a contract with them? Or are you expected to have prior knowledge. Thanks again!!! I absolutely love your videos queen:)
You will have to do a certification called AHIP and certifications with each carrier to learn about their products and you should also get training with your upline
Im new to selling medicare as an independent contractor. Its hard . I know medicare plans but only worked in call centers. I like how you did you event with the assortment of fruits and veggies. Did this pan out for you with appointments? How long are your events? Im new and been going to CVS pharmacy to do table tops for two hours. Did you get enough leads abd enrollments to offset your expenses? From this event? Food is costly, and you dont want to break budget. Thank you.
I actually don’t spend much $0 to $100 per event! I partner with doctor groups so sometimes it’s just my time and office space. I do these more for marketing and so people know where my office is. We don’t require appointments or for them to fill nothing out. The events are from 9 to 12. We get the most visits at 9am then usually from 10 to 12 a few comes in. People usually will call weeks later and ask for help with insurance or not at all and that’s ok it’s more for marketing

@@summerflower82 no I don’t recommend FMO’s they will just give you the contracts to sign, you need a upline first. Join a few facebook groups for agents

@@patriceh2930 No they don’t, CMS sets the rates, they get an override when you make a sell but all that is set already it’s not from your commissions. Someone is getting the override regardless of going directly to the FMO or not. If you go directly to the FMO they just get the whole amount.
