Hey Arjun, you can create interactive prototype links that you can view from your phone or computer by clicking in the top right corner in XD. This will not give you a full working app, only a prototype.
Hi, so the reason why the Time trigger is not showing for you is likely because the artboard is not selected. So if you have a button selected instead of the full artboard, the Time trigger option will not show. hope this helps and thanks for watching!
If you are referring to changing the symobl star icon (color, size) without changes other instances of it, you can simply ungroup (shift+cmd/ctrl+G) the icon and you can make changes to that icon alone. Hope that helps! :)
Hi Stephen. Yes it is certainly a far easier way of animating your mobile designs/transitions. The learning curve is easier and its actually pretty fun as well. Hop you can experiment and enjoy using it :)
Adobe XD allows you to design websites for both web and mobile, as well as mobile apps and prototype them, testing the functionality/usability. Thanks for asking :)
@@DopeMagazineDigital Well depends on a few things. Your own skill in design/development, if you have a team or a developer you work with, the kind of site you're building etc. I'd recommend trying it out for yourself and I'm also more than happy to make a video about design/developing a site. Hope this helps!
Robert Bradford I’m very good in photoshop and with graphics and animation..I’m sure I would be great at creating the prototype and and I love learning new things related to what I already do.. so I wouldn’t mind learning the next process but if it’s a better decision to go with a developer do you have any to suggest? thanks again 🙌
@@DopeMagazineDigital For sure and hopefully you can share some of what you've designed/prototyped in XD. For myself, I've found that one of the best ways to really connect with others in tech, including other developers is to attend local meetup events and get to know lots of people there.
Hello robert, very interesting content! but i still confused with my adobe XD, i didn't find a feature "ACTION", just "TRANSITION". So i can't using feature AUTO-Animate. Can U help me?? thanks
Hey thanks for watching! So did you update to the latest version of XD that came out this month (February)? Because if I'm not mistaken, in the previous versions, you had to have ARTBOARD selected for the "Auto-Animate" option to show. Now it seems that you can have any element selected to enable it. Are you able to find out which version you have?
@@RobertBradford2Done! i just Uninstall my XD CC from my adobe CC apps and then install again, and it works! thanks robert. and now my issue again about adobe sync, so i can't create new document but i can open my work before.
@@c1jimedia566 Hey im happy that the first issue has been resolved. So with your current issue, are you saying that XD will allow you to open previous projects, but it won't allow you to start a new one?
I have to design a mobile application for a contest. Thank You for telling how this feature works :) I will apply this to my application. Hopefully I will win.
Thanks for the support. I have to submit this application via usb to the judge and he has to view it in his pc. How and what should I do to send the application in a usb so that he can open and view what I created without any external software?
@@determiner7269 Well if it has to be sent via usb, you can export your artboards to PDF, then make and send a prototype link to the judge so that they can interact with it themselves and have a pdf to view.
Thanks for your question. I've had this problem before too, and I would recommend that you check that the layer that you are trying to auto-animate to another screen is an exact copy of the layer on the next screen and has the same layer name. I hope this helps. What portion are you looking to auto-animate? A button?
Ok so I've noticed that the TIME trigger will not show, unless you have the artboard selected instead of an item within the artboard. For example, if you have a button that you want to click to as the trigger, it will not give you to option to have a TIME trigger. Hope that makes sense and hope this helps.
A great tutorial would like to see more of these!
Glad that you enjoyed and Ill definitely be putting out more update videos.
Thx! I wanna ask one thing, How could you connect or embeded with video and audio?
how can i run this on my android phone and Thank you so much for every single video, Great Work.

hi, is it possible to make a Prototype UI with Animation and Export all them to use in swift code or software to develop faster?
Thats not something that XD is capable of at the moment but perhaps in the future or through plugins.
@@RobertBradford2 flutter plugin is available as far as i know... but havent tried how far they took it.

Hi, How to i force to change the star icon eg: only item 2nd? if the item is a symbol

@@RobertBradford2 Yes, That's correct but we take a lot of time to do it( Update). Maybe the next feature of XD--> Replace a symbol in a symbol
@@minhtamdesigner Yea absolutely right, and a symbol override feature would be great!

Hi, Good job! an question... how to export this animation in a GIF?
Great question and unfortunately XD does not export in GIF format.
Great Tutorial
very helpful!
thanks a lot
glad I could help!
yeah, that's super dope!
Is this a better way to animate apps than using after effects ?
