two weeks ago i was in Kyoto Japan and visited a vintage type of cafe a really beautiful place , just 10 minutes after that Flower song started playing literally on repeat for an entire hour and no one complained lol :D the retro design of the café + this song were a perfect match .
just love how all BP members are so talented individually, but they work so well as a group. Their bond is undeniable. It just works. There’re no “i want this part, i want that part.” They loves each others and support each other’s work/solos. 4 strangers become sisters and had been for years. They’re super comfortable with each others. Their interaction is just lovely. Their duality just brings that girl crush vibe to the max, at least to me 😂
She’s been my favorite since day 1 of my new Blink life (but only slightly cause I adore them all) and this was just so eloquent and beautiful. It was so her. But yes she’s also the goofball of the group. Love that dichotomy. When I saw the first two concerts last year this wasn’t out yet. Was over the moon to see her do this at the encore

This video is pretty unique because it was shot on actual film (as opposed to video) which gives it kind of a unique look. It was the most expensive Blackpink video ever and was filmed at a famous Universal Studio LA set which is also in many movies and also at the Biltmore LA hotel seen in a Taylor Swift video. To me the video has a very classic look and feel, kind of old school. I love how in Blackpink each member gets to show their own colors and style through their solo videos. Lisa's solo songs have that hip-hop swag as well as hints of her joyful and colorful personality. Jisoo here shows off her classic beauty and more traditional, more Korean taste. Jennie brings a lot of her pop music acumen highlighting her multiple talents as well as her "it" girl energy to her songs. And Rosé, well you haven't seen those yet so I guess I will just say that her songs are very much on brand for her personal musical style
