Nice one Paul. Great shots and very cinematic. I did these 2 this time last year. Think the cairn at the 2nd summit is the biggest I have ever seen! It’s massive.
Thanks Andrew! the scenery here is amazing. Some of my favourite walks have been in the Mamores! pity that's them all explored! Would have been better with a drone!!! cheers mate. Paul.
Hi Paul, another great video, not too much talking to the camera just epic views. This has gone on my list of walks to do when i'm next up there. Thanks
@@PAADVENTURES1 Hi Paul, from the videos I've watched so far I think you get the balance about right. I've not watched one yet and thought I wish he'd stopping talking 🤣 The only complaint I have about watching your videos is it makes me wish I lived nearer Scotland. Currently watching the Ring of Steall video with a cup of coffee. Keep up the good work.
Cheers Andy! Thanks for that. Keep an eye out over the next few weeks for the Amazing and Scary Aonoch Eagach ridge and the brilliant Grey Corries ridge walk! Cheers. Paul
Oh my, those midges! That got my attention. Hopefully, they weren't too bad on the ridges. And, oh my, what ridges those are. They feel like the bones of Scotland. What an amazing day to stay up on the ridges and climb two more peaks. The clouds made it so atmospheric, and the glimpses of steep rock faces were stunning. I really loved this video.
Thank you so much! The mamores are amazing! 10 peaks all connected by amazing ridges and glens! A fantastic place. If you have a look at my video called mamores the return you will see these hills in all their splendour! Thanks again! Paul
Good evening Paul, how can midges make you itch via YT....swear your intro mad me scratch my head! 😬🦟 Great start to this one, again magical in the morning mist and cloud, very lovley and a great choice of music too 🥰👍 Good bit of climbing there guys, smashing day be up a mountain ⛰❤ great footage and camera angles, nicely edited. The white peak was a nice wee summit, and glad you got some veiws on the way down and round . Very envious of these hikes, even more grateful that you share them with us tho, blooming marvelous, two big thumbs up 👍👍❤ have a great end to the week, Ceri and Kat ☕🤗🌞
Cheers you two! I was using my new camera so couldn't manage any chat! Kinda one task guy! It's an amazing range the mamores and one you should try and visit the next time you are in the chosen land! 😉!
Just had a week up in that area lovely, got a old video the munro show with muriel gray very early 90s, in those days they came out the car park and straight up the ridge onto stob ban, don’t think its much used these days
It's an amazing part of the World eh! Probably my favourite hills this year have been the mamores. Looking forward to a wild camp up there this winter! Thanks for watching Carl! All the best. Paul
Cheers James! The ants are everywhere in these two hills..the ground was swarming with them. You will enjoy these two! A great day out! Cheers again. Paul
Holy cow, those midges in the first frame! Blech! Lovely glens and mists. You seem to be getting on well with your new camera Paul, lovely shots on this one. Clear days are nice, but undercasts can be so freakin cool. The mists left plenty for the imagination to fill in for blanks. Something really interesting going on with the geology at 5:19. Is that the hand of man at work there, or something natural going on? Probably natural, but there are so many straight lines happening, it makes us wonder. The frame at 7:00 is postcard worthy, what a shot! Watching this has totally got us ready to head out on another real adventure. We got robbed when the GoPro failed us on our 11 mile hike, but we've got one this weekend that'll scratch the itch I think. Take care of yourself out there while you're having the fun!
Thanks JR! the new camera is a challenge to say the least! I have got so used to the GoPro simplicity that my new camera seems like learning rocket science! will keep going with it. The midges only appeared in the morning! by lunch they had all gone so gabby doo! The striped rock formations are amazing! Stob Ban is well known for these striations in the rocks. A big walk coming up this weekend and I can't wait! an amazing arête walk to Ben Nevis! yea ha! cheers guys. Paul.
@@PAADVENTURES1 Ben Nevis is your biggest mountain is it not? Hope you have a blast on it. Your new camera also looks a bit bulkier than the GoPro setup. That wind muff is HUGE! Makes you look like a legit film crew out there instead of some action junkie with a GoPro. 😂
Great video Paul. Camera work is great. What tripod are you using with it? How did you get on with the handheld shots as they all looked really steady?
Thanks!,, I am just using a wee joby gorilla pod thingy! The metal one. I bought a small rig cage and handle for the camera which makes it more steady! And more heavy!,, plus a wee bit of work on the computer! Cheers again! Paul
Thanks Kev! was thinking that we where not going to see a thing! These are great hills and I hope to go back in the winter time! The midges and flying ants where everywhere! horrible. cheers mate. Paul.
Great footage with amazing scenery...different views each way you looked! 😎
Fabby doo! Lol.
Wow, the ridges full of clouds are fantastic. You guys there are more wonderful people.😊👍풀뷰.
Thank you! Paul.
Brilliant again Paul.
Catching up on all my missed vids.
👍👍👍
Thanks Tam! Loved this walk! The mamores are my favourite hills so far! cheers Paul
Wow,,,, breathtaking views, what a great walk, smashing, really enjoyed it well done. 😊
You want to come to Ben Nevis on Sunday!
