What's really interesting is the documentary, "Lost Soul: The Doomed Journey of Richard Stanley's Island of Dr. Moreau". In that entire video, NOT ONCE is actor David Thewlis (who replaced Rob Morrow) ever mentioned by the director, cast, or crew! He was IN the movie and part of the cast, yet he's never interviewed or spoken about! Why?
He didn't want to be interviewed and I think he needed to give permission for his name to be used, which he refused. At least I think that's what happened.

Tried to distance himself as much as possible.
"If I was making a film called The Life and Times of Val Kilmer I wouldn't hire that prick"! The delivery of this line got me hard.
Richard Stanley MAKES A GREAT CONCEPT RUINED BY VAL MARLON AND THE ISLAND ITSELF
I love science fiction
Imagine of instead of Brando and Kilmer they had got Christopher Lee and Bruce Campbell
An interesting subject ruined by bad audio and poor public speaking. All I heard was Um ummm ummmm and Um umm ummmmm... unintelligible
I had to turn on CC that did help a little but not much
