I just ordered mine from my local RC shop. I am so pumped after watching your tear down!! I’m totally putting that motor in transmission in my old power wagon, and I’m gonna lock the diff on my new Colorado!

They were on eBay a long time ago, they are for some little pull cord wheel toy. They don’t make em anymore. :(

Question: any idea why FMS sent longer C cups for me to replace right away?
I think there were issues with the shorter c-cups breaking.

Awesome video! I love the way you break the rc down, it gives a lot of insight on the quality of the rc. I was wondering if you know the size of the inner and outter hub bearings? I'm building a variation of this from parts and can't seem find the bearing dimensions anywhere. Any info would be much appreciated 🙏🏼
Sorry this took so long. Outer bearing is 7x4x2.5 and inner bearing is 12x8x3.5

We likely won’t be throwing the FMT trans and motor into an FCX smasher. We’d have to buy another rig. :(

This sound like a dumb question but is it possible to use some of the basher parts to modify it to my crawler to make the front suspension to a ifs set up ??
with enough creativity, i think you could. I mention it in the video. the drive shafts should be able to bolt right up from the IFS diff to an fcx24/18 trans (since thats whats in the basher).
You just have to find a way to mount the chassis front to a crawler chassis rear.. or just use it as it is, put on crawler tires, and lock the diffs and crawl with it!
Please make a video on how to properly replace the front differential. I just tried and exploded diagrams are like a foreign language to me. I got it in but now I have no steering and one gear.

so... has anyone figured out how to merge the IFS from the FMT24 with a solid rear axle?
the last KoH, which was the most epic in a while, has made me want a "proper" 1/24 Ultra4 more than ever! :D

In short. The FMT24 is much smaller than the eazy rc 1/18. The eazy rc is almost a 1/16

I dont have a grom yet, but I have seen them and know people with them. This is smaller than the grom by quiet a big (relatively)

Any idea on what the battery life is like?
Pretty good. We ran for over 30 min. And it still had some juice.
Is that another sized 900 mah battery, or the same one that comes with the LC80?
Pretty sure the lc80 is a 400 or 600 mah

Can this easily be upgraded to brushless system of choice? Very nice but definitely not as easy to work with compare to fcx24 😊
It’s not quite as easy as the fcx, but once you know how, it’s actually pretty easy. And yes, you can upgrade to brushless but you will need an esc and receiver as well as being sure your motor mounts. Might take some fabbing a little and you need to be sure the pinion matches the mod/pitch

I Donno. The motor it comes with is a 370. That’s a pretty big motor. If you can find a good brushless 370 sized motor, it will definitely be quick quick quick.

What do you think is the best mini basher? The fmt, losing mini b, rage rc mini treck, carisma gt24, or kyosho mini z buggy?
Depends on the size you really want. I love my mini bs and mini ts for sure. But they aren’t exactly bashers. Neither is the mini z buggy or the carisma. Those are all just off-road buggies. A basher is meant to be pushed hard. The Granite Grom and the EazyRC Colorado are both bashers. This is def the smallest one.
Valid point. Right now because of the weather where I live it's indoor rc time. And I'm really enjoying the rage mini treck. It's cost effective, tough, handles great and has spars parts available.
This looks like Easy rc Colorado and fcx mated! Which one is the better basher/ faster?

I think the 380 is WAY bigger and likely much much faster. A big Godzilla would make more sense.
Mini is 8500KV 3s goes up 90000 rpm
The 380 is 28mm diameter? I tried a 2030 and wouldn't fit with the gearbox being in the way... A 2030 is 20mm. The mini is 14mm so how does 380 fit if it's 28mm

@@R-EVLMNKY the transmission is the same as the smasher. So you should be able to drop the entire transmission in. As long as there are no issues with the shift rod/servo. (You should be able to use the smasher servo and such. )
