Also to be fair to the Halberd...Seki--sensei of "Ask Seki-Sensei", a master of many types of weapons, absolutely adored the training one he got to work with to show how someone from Japanese martial arts would do with the weapon...to be clear, though Seki-sensei is known for showing how to use sword techniques his favorite weapon and most trained with weapon IS a the staff....lot of crossover with halberd techniques. I'm terrified if my little bro got one, he prefers polearm weapons which he is able to use his lanky body with...my bro is just over 6 feet tall and a bit on the lanky side...polearms suit him well, while I prefer much shorter swords like arming swords or katana...I lean heavy into Sword and Shield as well if given a chance lol. We both have never had a single HEMA lesson in our lives but we have done some sparing before with him using a staff with me using my wooden shinobi-gatana.

The main Godzilla company was so offended by Zilla they bought the rights to it just so they could have the REAL Godzilla kill it on screen.
