how does tour channel only have 15k subs. what a shame u should have 50k+ subs. keep up the good work, we appreciiate the objective and informative reviews!! is that suny albany? suny buffalo grad here.
I've had this car for a year and I love it. Great sporty design. The best in it's class. Great handling. A lot of features for the money. Excellent gas mileage. Better than other cars in its class with comparable engines. Some things I wish it had are: A V6 engine or at the least a turbo charged engine. I know it will lead to less gas mileage but I'd like the extra power. Better noise insulation. I've gotten used to it but the noise on highways is definitely there when I pay attention. Power seats on the base model would be nice too.
I believe it shows when the I-eloop triggers and it is used to help you set the distance from the car in front of you when setting the advanced cruise control. not sure what else..
Most reviewers say that the 2.5 was the missing piece in the CX-5, will you think the same?... hope the new 3 comes out soon to see what the auto journalists think of it!
Great Review Steve...I am strongly considering buying one of these. I was thinking about a V6 or Turbo equipped car but decided to just go for good exterior style, sporty handling, and top notch midsize car fuel economy.
Mazda is by far my favorite Japanese automker. I've owned many and even a 2004 6 S hatch. I have driven this new one 3 times and as an enthusiast, love it! It's only missing a turbo motor and Mazda know it! Add a turbo and 60 HP and you have a solid choice! It will never sell in the numbers of accord or Camry and Mazda I'm sure is fine with that. I to root for the little guy and this car company is in a roll! Now just add a turbo please. Thanks Steve for a job well done!!
Steve -- first drive with the 6. One of the last reviewers found on UA-cam. Will you try the 2014 CX-5 with the same 2.5L Inline-4 that's found in the MAZDA6?
G`day Tim, yeah mate, tyres, but also just general driveline/engine noises, rattles and squeaks as they become older, and when they get to that stage the vehicle just feels like a heap, whereas i have a 23 year old lexus and it still feels and sounds like a quality car, still very quiet inside.
Even a turbo 4 would be nice if they want more customers but I guess they have to weigh the merits though . They are a small company so every penny counts and if only a small percentage of customers want the turbo it would not be cost effective to offer it.
Well the reviews always pick between the 2013 accord or the 2014 Mazda 6 as there choice so you saying "Honda accord all day over this!" is just your opinion and seeing that it got marked as spam people don't agree with you.Especially with your 100k transmission.
For as beautiful-gorgeous as the 6 is (despite the red paint), without more power/torque and an improved navi-, this car falls to the bottom of the mid-size heap alongside the Malibu.
if its the 4 cylinder you should watch out,not the best cars but if its the v6 there nothing to worry about. That is actually a ford product. If you could i would sell it at 50k and buy any Mazda that says skyactiv.
Been waiting this review forever!

The cup holders on the engine @ 0:44 is really a nice touch.
subbed, awesome video dude!

I'll be in one next week, as a matter of fact.

I hope these cars prove to reliable in the long run... So far our 2010 Mazda 6 has no problems, we've had it for a few months now though
Hey Steve, How was it going up hilly areas and places with steep grades?
How does it compare to the Accord Sport? A comparable Accord Sport is about $2k less to a 6 Touring.
Maybe Mazda can use a little more sound deadening materials in the diesel version, and being as light as it is I wonder how it fares in crash testing.
Does that digital gauge on the right show anything other than mpg, cruse and fuel?
Is there a way to order a better navi/entertainment unit?
So which one Steve. This Mazda 6 or the new Ford Fusion?

I maybe in he market for a new car. Currently considering the 2014 Mazda 6 and the Kia Optima. Just wondering what you think of them as a comparison.
Best looking car in the segment, Mazda has a winner in their hands
Fix the Nav, brighten up the interior and tone down the noise.
You better get more reviews in using Suny Albany's as a backdrop before school starts, lol.
being a bit on the noisey side would turn me off, if it noisey now what will it be like when it gets a few miles on it ??
Does that digital gauge on
make sure you don't confuse 'real world mpg' with 'EPA estimates.' The two aren't the same as you suggested in your review.
Believe me; I never do.
Gorgeous car!!!
it would be even funnier if the interior didnt have any cop holders lol
Can't wait for the diesel version.
This is what I would likely end up buying to replace my 2007 Saab 9-3

This is a decent car but they have alot of catching up to do to reach the competitors
I think you would like the 2014 mazda cx5 a lot better than the 2013 model.
Mazda has to give this car a more powerful engine. either V6 or Turbocharged2.5. regardless the increase of the gas consumption.

I drive a 2009 cx9 grand touring so far no issues. Knock on wood
I love how this car looks. Sexiest mazada of the recent gen.
This is a car that really needs a skyactiv v6 or turbocharger, looks great though.
why would it get worse?Probably just the tires.

one thing, i really think this mazda 6 is much better than the ford one lolz
HEY Tim the tool man I dont understand your comment, I couldnt care less about my comment being marked as spam
Car to slow!!! Looks and features are great just at least put a v6 option
God this car is pretty...

Honda accord all day over this!
