I especially like how this wasn't done by finding some place that lets you mint points for yourself, but from just taking advantage of nearly every bonus in the game!
good job. looks like exploits are: 1 get all the flags - tons of points 2 build up time, since every 5k you get 5 more sec 3 kill tons of enemies , especially on king of the mountain 4 repeat as need max score you should actually add the extra bonus points to the score to track over 1 million. later -1
Counting over 1,000,000 would fundamentally break, as the score that would be obtained and the strats one could do would change drastically. Past 999,999 time extends are no longer awarded, so you couldnt kill the enemies on KOTM while maintaining a good time bonus. Thank you, though.
I notice a 'bumper-bouncing' (BB) trick in the last pinball...which is kinda abusing a bug. Wonder if you can score the max without BB trick? (Just thinking about MARP submissions)
If you want to kill the pans in Wacky with the Crusher, you need for them to wait for their attack routine to finish for them to go back to their starting point, anyways how do you feel about the sequel?
@@ASE-PRL as soon as I saw the entire footage of 2 around December, I knew that this game would've topped the original in every way, my only gripe with the sequel is that the abundance of points and additional time kind of negates the original skillful aspect of the first game and that many things in the game are a bit recycled such as enemy behavior, but overall worth waiting 31 years for
@@turrican3839 It's IMO a perfect alterside of MM1's scoring design : MM1 was all about speed, the faster you are; the more you score. If you're not fast then the game gets harder and you score less. MM2 is speed AND item collection/bonus accuracy. Sure, when you play very well the games a breeze but thats because you learned it! It's the same wtih MM1 in that sense, the best players in MM1 would have 90+sec on Ultimate Race, and the best players in MM2 could have 200+sec on Silly, and thats OK; as the scoring design changed to reflect this. Yea its pretty refreshing in that sense
You know, had this actually came out back in the day, it would've been considered one of the most insane multiplayer games of the 90s!

Yea and I think some sfx from qbert?

The missing death sound when you fall off is noticed. Now it's just a weak, whispery voice clip of a guy. Unfortunate.
