After watching this vid, I fell in love with this knife. 2 weeks later and its 12-15-2020 and I am now the proud owner of a black, tanto, maxace serpent striker V2. It is beautiful. And will fit amazingly into my new custom leather A51projects burrito style Bali sheath. Excellent video and even better knife.

Not gonna lie, i've heard about this knife like 3 months ago, really hesitated to buy it. Then you post the Chaplin video and it was the green light to me, jumped out of the bed took my credit card and bought it (off Aliexpress for 89€ on discount, French viewer here). Just received it, i'm usually not a fan of sandwich but man... this thing is tough. And there i am just listening to you saying that it is great and agreeing with you. Great video as always. Btw i would love to watch sound equipement videos on your channel as long as the videos keep this humoristic tone, we are here for the memes.

Il faut passer un peu de temps à chercher une offre qui te plaît, tu en a beaucoup qui proposent le trainer + Tanto ou Drop, mais tu peux aussi avoir que le trainer, ou que la lame, tout sera écrit

Hey Alex I have a question about maintenancing your balisong how do you know when it’s time to maintenance it? From what I’ve heard about threadlocker (loctite) it’s tough to break free from the threads, do I have to wait till the loctite is weaken by using my bali a lot and then I maintenance it or?

Ok, editing tip. When you do a wipe transition for broll( like the one in the first 5 secs) you should use a thing called speed ramping, speeding the footage up Spector the cut. It just makes things generally smoother. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk. Also a great vid tho

Is teflon tape any good for bearings? In my experience the screws seem to back out a bit with bushing balis

Also, I have the gray version of this knife and I absolutely love it! It’s my favorite flipper by far. It’s very light compared to my Lucha which I very much enjoy. I highly recommend adding this to any Bali lover’s collection.

what about the covenant is this better than that? i loved the covenant alot i thought it was damn near perfect other than maybe a tad slippery and also that had become fairly rare at that time so i didnt want to flip it much.

The Maxace Covenant was the only bali I liked with the latch on!! Though, you can always replace your latch with a "Paracord Latch" which is much lighter. I should make a tutorial video for that, actually!

the serpent striker 2.0 in china is about 50 dollars. i owned the version 1.0 with titanium parts (not the inlays), about 55 dollars, i defenitely recommend it, but i would say snatch the 1.0 if u can
another tip is to get extra hardware, if you drop this on concrete, the bearing steel balls might feel weird and unsmooth

I've heard some really good things about this Bali but I passed on it to try the Atropos Demon Orange Mood (as I've heard it's a budget Rep alternative, I will review it on my channel soon!). Honestly I'd say it's up there with the Cov and Pelican. Really impressed with how good the balance is even though it's so cheap! Better then their previous attempts for sure
