Ending was kinda disappointing. Nobara coming back was hype but not really satisfying, and overall, JJK just feels like it could've been more. This is why there's a feeling of empty bleh after the finale. Like Gege had so many chances to really flesh out the world and just kinda didn't, and it doesn't really feel like weve spent much time with the cast besides Yuji.
I think the biggest mistake was not having Kenjaku as the final villain. I know that requires getting Gojo out of the way because of how busted he is, although idk why you’d create a character like that if you don’t know how to get around him, but yeah, it just felt like Kenjaku was a million times more interesting as a villain. Sukana just has nothing going for him but he’s strong…and that could’ve been anyone lol you could’ve just made Kenjaku that strong…or anyone really is the point. And because there was nothing of any real significance going on for Sukana, he could be replaced by essentially anyone. I don’t even mind having villains that are villains for the sake of needing a villain…but not as the final hurdle. It just doesn’t work like that at all. It reminds me of the Muscular guy from MHA…he was cool for where he was in the story and for Deku to fight at the time…but imagine if he was the final villain😂😂
I think JJK had more potential, but seems like when Gege said he wanted to end it by 2024, he meant it he'll wrap it up at all costs I suppose. And as for 261, I think it was also due to a time crunch cause 261 comes 236 days after chapter 236. So it seems like Gege really wanted something special to come out for that day. Maybe I'm overthinking it though... I just hope Gege decides to do the Kubo method and begin fleshing things out in the anime adaptation.
I honestly dont think the ending is that bad. Definitely rushed but not the worst thing ever. Kenny was the main plot device and it added up to nothing, and sukuna’s fight was way too repetitive
In the grand scale of things, the Shinjuku Showdown doesn't really feel like it had any stakes. I mean, the roster didn't even change besides Gojo (who was destined to lose) and Choso. No one of relevance died or was permanently altered post the fight. Hell, even Higiruma survived and we all saw Sukuna literally tear him apart and his technique fade. Yuta in Gojo's body is funny to me, because imagine watching your homie get folded like an omelet in 4K HD, jumping the dude who did that to him, LOSING, and deciding that piloting your homeboy body to get his getback, only to then get both you AND his body folded again. Tldr; Shibuya had higher stakes and was overall a better arc because everything and everyone who was apart of it was fundamentally affected by it, while Shinjuku changed little but rearrange some deck chairs and kill Choso
I mean kusakabe saying his thoughts about sukuna not being a terrorist like kenjaku were being proven wrong and Sukuna talking about how he was gonna summon the merger definitely felt like setup for huge stakes those stakes being kill Sukuna or the world ends also most people were upset with gege with killing off too many cast members yet when gege shows them alive at the end people hate it and call it Disney kaisen it makes zero sense Kashimo choso and gojo all huge major relevant characters died
Gojo losing, Gojo dying off screen, The Sukuna Cycle and The Ending were separate complaints that a lot of people combine into one as just Gojo dying, like the series was dying without Gojo. Personally, I’m a sukuna cycle apologist, while it could have been better, it’s really not bad. But everything after Nobara came back was so bad, there was almost no redeeming qualities. Who held him at gun point and told him to being Nobara back for no reason, and like what did he write that “sukuna had 2 paths” thing for? Gege just put a random girl design and called it a visual for what sukuna was talking about. Everyone out here is complaining why the final battle is the sukuna cycle but apparently though the biggest plot hole in jjk was people learning simple domain, and dedicated an entire chapter of his ending to fix jjk’s greatest plot hole that he thinkz everyone was complaining about
Dude, I just think Sukana was never meant to be the final villain. We know nothing about him at all. We don’t even know wtf he is lol he’s not a human because humans don’t have 4 arms and however many eyes…he’s not a curse…or supposedly he wasn’t anyway….so wtf is he?? And the fact that something so simple never actually has an answer, it just tells me that he’s the wrong person for the role of final/main antagonist. Kenjaku was infinitely more interesting imo and I know Gojo was the issue with Kenjaku because he’d clean him up quick…but I always thought if you wanted to kill Gojo off, then have the purple he used at the end do it…he literally says that he didn’t even know how he’d take it…so it was the PERFECT get out of jail free card for putting Gojo down…instead of the nonsense we got. But it also solves the issue of Kenjaku being able to run wild now. I mean, everything of importance up to that point, all of it ended up basically not mattering lol like wtf was the point of Tengen?? Or Kenjaku taking him over?? The Culling Games?? Just about everything lol was it all just an excuse to get Sukana in Megumi’s body so he can actually kill Gojo? There’s no way. And if that is the case, then why tf did you make Gojo so busted in the first place?😂😂 there’s a lot of things that went wrong at the end. I personally thought it started getting weird the moment Sukana switched with Yuji for the last time…but Sukana just being completely replaceable with anyone is the biggest issue for me. All that was necessary for the final villain was that he’s strong? In what world would that ever be enough? That’s okay to do with some villains…but not the main antagonist lol that’s just a terrible look.
the hype came from waiting all night for leaks to the most anticipated fight in manga history every week for a whole summer and relentlessly joking about whoever did worse for the week in between
Oh nvm bro he was slandering bleach because boruto is definitely not better than bleach lol. Then for some reason Sakamoto days caught a stray, but hey people like what they like lol. I think bleach is definitely a 6 to 7 in manga form and i think the anime id gonna elavate it to an 8 due to the changes its made. It is my least favorite of the big 3, but it is still pretty good.
Gojo winning would’ve been awful. It wouldn’t have made sense and Sukuna losing there would’ve been a terrible ending to his character since we hadn’t even really seen much from him or dived into his lore up until that point. Kenjaku doesn’t compare to Sukuna as a villain either in my opinion. He’s literally off in the background for most of the story.
i just feel like people were upset cause THEIR expectations werent met..a story was told the authors yet everyone every week thought they knew what was coming next and fhey were wring the problem w the series getting all this attention is that then when those plot points werent hit that people expected they were let down. it has its flaws like any other series but even six used to make these videos about what was coming jezt ot what was gonna happen and yall gassed yourselves up simple as that. i still love jjk cause i went along w the ride w no expectations i didnt think gojo wohld revive or that the merger was gonna happrn cause guess what? it sas ndver any guarantee of that happening shit for the merger to even happen everuone had to die except kenny and sukuna and that never was going to happen. i think in this age where people can basically dorce a strot to go a certain way its actually refreshing for an author to tell their story and if you were let down its cause you thought certain beats were gonna be hit but thats not jow it works. same tjing s the “this shouldve happened or we should’ve seen this thing” why? cause thats what YOU wanted there are plenty of stories that do not delve into every little detail or every little thing but we are conditioned to get that now
Ending was terrible. I had such high hopes we were all let down bad. Sukuna winning would have made for a much better ending or Yuji becoming the next Sukuna would have been dope. It basically ended with the Avengers forming and taking out Thanos with a million and one ass pulls. Sukuna should not have lost. And we didn't even get to see the merger and a million other cool things that were talked about in the series. The ending was way too rushed.
Horrible takes, let Kenny be the main villain and let gojo win. Lower stakes for the sake of gojo winining is extremely boring. Idk how making Nobara Come back was not probable since he was never clear, it would defeat the purpose of you all could just see the foreshadowing on the wall. I think the ending was lacking but only cuz I wanted to see yuji come up more. And wished to see more of sukunas past
It wasn’t stated but megumi reaction when yuji asked about her gave off “she’s gone bro” then she got put in a double page spread of about 5 dead characters
Malevolent Shrine isn't barrierless, The barrier is simply open making it immune to attacks and keeping the ability to trap people, people being able to leave his domain is the result of a binding vow that expands the range to 200 meters. In chapter 259 We literally see sakuna make a binding vow that allows people to leave his domain in exchange for sealing everything else in to create an explosion with fuga.
You know Six, I'd really love to pick your brain sometime of what you value in a series and might not otherwise with you comparing specific examples. Also the fighting over cheese baked snacks in the backgrounds while you're talking of UFC is *wild.* 💀

@@jordancave3089I have been saying this lol. Sukuna being the final boss feel so forced.

The most disappointing thing about JJK is the fact that the community is a bunch of spoiling loving degenerates. It took the hype out of everything.
Ngllll
the hype came from waiting all night for leaks to the most anticipated fight in manga history every week for a whole summer and relentlessly joking about whoever did worse for the week in between
I wasn't really expecting the series to not go out with a bang.
Went from amazing to fantastic to hype as hell... to okay? Then to meh... and it never recovered
The Bleach slander is so crazy to me ngl 😭 I read a whole lot of manga and it’s still in my top 5 free
I wish I could get into it, ts is jus so mid to me💔
@@AboveRuin me hating on Bleach is a gimmick I only don't like TYBW

i thought the same but then realized i never unmuted key words about jjk since the last 5 chapters got announced and everyone was slandering
I loved when Itadori said, "I am the Jujutsu Kaisen!"
during the culling games jjk become maybe one of my favourite manga. seeing the last 5/6 chapter was soo disappointing

i came for jjk yap & im leaving with penguin spoilers. gotta love it
Everyone was Fodder compared to Gojo yet somehow he lost and they won
Before the ending I had JJK above bleach now Bleach >>> JJK
remember Yuta getting Gojo body ???? 😂😂😂😂😂😂💀💀💀
It felt like gege just wanted to start writing something else
It's time for Six to read Tower of God (Manhwa)
Could Naruto shove the effect of Unlimited Void onto Kurama, like Sukuna did Megumi?
That's a dick move and Naruto would never do it, but still
Honestly we were expecting a seinin ending to a Shonen series so that’s kind of on us
