Thankyou for the reviews man, I finally got my hands on one and have been using the deathadder since 2013. It still blows my mind how good this mouse really is, never have I ever had a better aiming experience in my life until using this mouse.
your discord community pushed me toward the DAV3 and I have to say I can not be any happier, I normally subconsciously leaned toward smaller mice, but once I got the DAV3 in my hand it felt like an extension of my own arm.
I was using a DAV2 pro for a few weeks and decided to take the plunge for the DAV3 Pro and I am pleasantly surprised. I feel my aim has improved, and when I miss shots, I know it was my movement rather than the mouse. This was a great pick up!!
I think wired is just so hard to go back to after top tier wireless + the lighter clicks and 4000hz. you'd have to really prefer the shape by a large margin IMO
Bought this after watching your first review and it's honestly so well built I can't see another mouse this good for a while as you said, my hands are kinda on the smaller size but after a while I think I found a pretty good grip with the mouse even if it's mostly suited for bigger hands, a smaller version would definetly pop off imo.
I like to use palm grip for flicks, and switch to fingertip in the heat of the moment when i need to track. How is fingertip with this one? If its passable this mouse might be endgame for me.
@@gvulture1277 Nothing broke/flexed, and I still love the mouse, I only had a problem with Synapse randomly rebooting my pc if I went in sleep mode, but quickly fixed it following a guide, can't remember how. The only thing regarding the mouse itself, the matte finish slightly started wearing down on the thumb side, it's not really concerning atm for me, and honestly, I think this happened with every single mouse I had at some point. Overall I'm pretty happy, and as much as the price is kinda high, the quality is very good. Especially since almost every wireless mouse coming out at this point costs 150$+.
Im probably gonna get this mouse next after ec1-a, even if my hand is just about medium, i need a bigger mouse cuz a lot of the new mouses today are too narrow and my thumb starts to hurt 😢
I love my DAV3 mouse. I can’t choose between it and the viper v2 pro, tho. I just end up switching between them whenever I perform badly with one during that period of time. Both great purchases, though neither shape seem to be easy to find a good grip for me personally. I just put the grip tape on and use my fingertips to hold the mouse for the most part, despite using claw. It’s weird trying to use these mice. Love them anyways.
depending on your hand size, you should try the x2/x2 mini. I love my x2 and i use a relaxed claw. it forces my fingers into a somewhat uncomfortable position but it makes me feel like a deadeye with the mouse
@@LegendLuna it’s easier for me to feel more comfortable with the v2 pro, but I usually track better with the DAV3. It’s quite strange. I don’t think either shape is very safe imo, I’d probably be more inclined to get people over to lamzu or pulsar
Love mine and even got core pads imported in before anybody had any in the states from what I could find…it was a game changer for me…thanks boardzy for the trusted reviews! Definitely the best mouse for people who have large hands.
!!!If your thinking about getting this mouse all i can say is.. DO IT!!! (For reference my hand size: 19cm from middle finger to wrist, 10cm from thumb to edge of hand) you will not regret it! Brought this 4 days ago, Got it Yesterday and honestly this mouse is by far the best in terms of comfortability, The weight of 64g is light in hand. The coating for me is the best ive felt in a mouse thus far, I had issues with the mouse being slippery but not this one! The clicks are amazing, the side buttons are perfectly sized the position of them are the best I've used. The scroll wheel is a lot smoother then the viper. I switched to KBM 4 months ago and I play palm started with a G703 and that was great but the clicks are a bit iffy, I then went to the GPX super and the side buttons became mushy and unresponsive, I then tried the Razer Viper ultimate but couldn't get a comfortable grip with it and sent it back then I heard about this and wow I'm beyond happy! Razer win the mouse market in the clicks & switches now the Death Adder V3 is a great for everything!
I love my DAv3 pro. Like you it is the only ergo on my desk. I have tried Orochi, viper, gpx, model O model D, O-, 403, g502, razer imitation 502, I even tried a 3 button space mouse in the past few months. Fell in love with the DA after only a few min of use. Have not thought 2 about it sense using it. Highly recommend. I have med hand with a relaxed claw grip. I drag my pinky.
Been loving it. First mouse in 15 mice that kicked the gpx of my desk. Only slight issue I have with it is that the rmb feels slightly more wobbly than the left. It is a pretty minor thing but im loving the mouse so much that I'm considering returning it and getting a new one for that reason
I got one in addition to my gpx, originally on return-if-it-doesnt-feel-right basis but it has essentially instantly become my new main. It feels lighter in the hand than the gpx since it's larger, the side buttons are MILES better and both the stock grips and skates feel as good as my aftermarket ones on the gpx. No QC issues for me, can only recommend (palm/claw hybrid, 20 by 10) Edit: i do also get that slight 'pop' from the shell you mentioned occasionally
Thanks for the feedback on it. I have similar sized hands (20 by 11) and I relax claw, but find the GPX to be too small for me with the grip, so I'm waiting on the DA3 to arrive tomorrow.
20x10 hands here as well. Started off with the EC1-C, moved to the GPX, and today I am awaiting my DAV3. Can't wait to experience that GPX weightless and wireless tech with the comfort of the EC1-C.
@@delikatnyj4680 The shape is 8/10 if the EC1-C is a 10. But everything else about the mouse is top tier. Single best light weight large ergo in the market right now. No one else comes close.
Finally, the mouse that replaced the ec2 for me (my hand 18.5x10.5cm). I bought a white and a black one. I returned the white one in my hand, it seems bigger (surface treatment, most likely). in any case, white is for a humid environment or sweaty hands, black on the contrary. The white is really beautiful polar white, not a yellowish white like many others, but unfortunately the grip and the overall feeling was definitely the black version for me
This is the most well built and balanced ergo I've ever tried, but the wide front gives me tingling and pain in my upper forearm. I think it's because I like to put my pinky and ring finger at the top right corner of the mouse, and that just stretches my fingers too far wide. I'm 19x9.5. I decided to stick with my EC2-C. Also, didn't know boardzy was an NBA fan ;)
Love this mouse but my only complaint was the lack of rubber grips which I loved on the Viper Ultimate. IMO it's too slippery and hard to control without squeezing without the tape. I ended up returning the first one because while the tape is removable, it is very easy to stretch and distort the shape when you take it off and it didn't look good or fit quite right after I tried to reposition it. I was much more meticulous on the first application with the 2nd mouse. I assume at some point Razer will start selling standalone tape for this mouse like it does for other models. Does kinda suck because I feel like the buttons were slightly better on the first one I got. Definitely some manufacturing variance and QC tolerance
After about a month and a half of using this mouse I've been experiencing creaking on the side where I rest my thumb. Also the slippery coating made the included side grips a must for me, but I'm concerned about their durability. The side grips also collect a lot of skin oils. That's the only problems I've had with this mouse.
@@LumidonHaven’t really found anything wide enough to bother me. I own a Haste and Orochi beyond this. Haste is wider but flat asf. I will say dav3 will potentially feel bulky if you want a good ampunt of your hand on your mousepad for whayever reason
Hi, 48 year old gamer here, just purchased this little beast, I was wondering which deskpad you’d partner this with , I nearly always play COD multiplayer (small / med maps) btw I’m based in England. keep up the goods work !
hey boardzy, you have been instrumental in my decision to pull the trigger on this mouse and it is my new main, went from the gpx superlight to this, it's been ages since i used an "ergo" mouse and it's bliss.
Is there anything you like more about the GPX vs the DAV3? I went from GPX to starlight but the shape does not suit my hand in relaxed claw. I've been dying to try the DAV3 but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I've been sorta waiting to see how the coating performed because that's fairly important to me.
@@ZWortek i do like the LMB and RMB clicks on the GPX more. they are lighter and are more crisp and also have literally zero post travel. the DAV3 have a little more post travel, but not enough to be a deal breaker for me. also, the battery life and charging speed is better on the GPX, as mentioned in the video. none of these are deal breaker. the most important thing - the shape - is better for me on the razer, so yeah :)
I've gone through two units now. First one started creaking badly after about 3 months of use. Sent in an RMA and the brand new one came with an extremely loose right mouse button. Razer needs to get their QC in check ASAP
I have that weird creaking on my orochi v2 kinda goes away sometimes I dunno may a humidity / temperature but the build is still pristine after using for 1 year
A love the fact that the DAV3’s middle mouse button can be clicked with your index finger if you push the scroll wheel to the right instead of only pressing it from the top of the scroll wheel. It makes it easier for people like me to push the mouse wheel button when your fingers are placed toward the front end of the mouse 1 and 2 clicks
I've been maining the v3 since it released. I think there are several areas for improvement. The clicks are stiffer than I'd prefer, a lighter click is desirable for tactical shooters. The gold standard for clicks is Vaxee's Huano switch implementation. The coating is also just average. Once again, Vaxee leads the way with their amazing matte coating. Also, I prefer mice with rounded edges instead of razer's aggressive, pointy corners. As far as positives, the shape is quite good, overall. The ergonomics are subtle enough to not interfere with your aim. The click latency and sensor accuracy are the best on the market. Stock skates are comparable to any after-market replacement. All things considered, the pros outweigh the cons. This is the best wireless ergo option as of 2022
I have the viper v2 and dav v2 a couple gpro sl and both x2s. They are good mice. I feel like shape is the key. Personal preference is what I go to. I put ttc gold switches in both my x2’s. The x2 ain’t no joke.
Bought mine off your review, game changer I must say. Me being big handed individual as well this mouse just felt amazing, also id like to point out the side buttons are what really did it for me. I've broken a side button on 3 different GPX's :(
I have the death adder v3 and after tons of play time with it I can honestly say it is my main as well. I have the Pulsar X2, GPX, Lamzu Atlantis, Viper V2, and plenty of others and nothing matches the V3 for me. Have a hyper polling dongle on the way too!
I've been on this mouse for a month now switching from hyperx pulsefire FPS pro and I love it. The size, shape and mouse buttons are perfect for my bigger hands. The only thing that's holding me back from getting used to it fully is its clickiness. I'm used to sharper clicks so that's the only thing that I don't like.
I've been making it since release. I have small hands but I prefer mid hump large ergos because I don't like having my wrist touch the pad. I don't know how people game with that kind of friction. But yeah, love it. Feet have definitely slowed down a bit. One thing that bothers me is the sensor angle. I don't know why but it's taking me a while to get a consistent x y feel for this one.
I got some creaking on mine as as well right on the thumb groove on the left side towards the bottom. I took some grip tape from razer's universal grip tape pack (the little strip one) and found the exact spot where it was creaking, pushed it in all the way to where it doesn't creak, then put the grip tape on top of it (where the side shell meets the bottom part of the shell). Completely removed the creaking. I'm autistic and mouse creaking is one thing I simply can't deal with so I'm glad I was able to fix it lol. Mouse has been amazing otherwise. I went back to my G604 for FF14 (for the side button) and it felt like a brick lol. And the shape of the DAV3 is just superior.
As a fellow wide hand mf i have been enjoying the g303 se recently, this dav3 is the next to try on my list. Also a random question have you tried btl's glass skates or the lgg v2s? Both are fairly new I believe.
glass skates i think work best with fingertip grip because you have the most fine tune control, with claw grip it probably will throw off your aim so keep that in mind when it comes to glass skates.
I have been using superlight for a year and it feel small for my hands(19.5 cm). Now I'm facing scroll wheel issues on it so gonna switch to dav3 and see how good it is. Ordered it now as it's cost half of superlight 2 and will post update here if I remember about it.
My hands are on the smaller end (sort of, I haven’t really measured my hand cuz idk how) but I got the daV3 and it honestly is great, the only issue I have is that coming from using the orochi v2, I really really wish the mouse clicks were sharper, and I do miss the tactile knob on the orochi
I just got mine yesterday and was on a G304/5 before it. I expected it to fill out my palm way more, but it doesn't (except when I claw it) cos of the how it slopes back down toward the wrist. It doesn't fill out the mid/back of my palm like the eggshell shape of the G304/5 does. All in all though the DAV3 is so much lighter and aiming feels easier on it by a lot. I fingertip it for the most part and pull it in to claw when I want that stability. I'm happy with it, but it'll take a little getting used to the feel.
Just ordered mine can't wait. Been using GPX the last 2 years and hated every day of it. As some1 with big hands it's just too small to control consistently for me. Had a deathadder before the GPX and felt like my aim was always so consistent. So going back to my roots.
Maybe I am cursed or something but all my razer mice with optical switches they slowly develop scratchy/creaky feeling clicks. The RVU, Viper V2 and now the DAV3. With my deathadder Ive gone through 3 copies (2 black, 1 white) now and each one the right click goes to complete shit in about 2 weeks of usage, the left clicks have been fine. Also, my most recent copy which is the one I've owned for the longest now also creaks on both sides but it isnt extreme. I want to like the mouse but these issues make seem cheap or poorly made, these issues didnt really hinder my in game performance at all but the right click issue is enough to make me feel like im using something that is broken. With the RVU and Viper V2 it was the same issues but with both clicks.
Had this happen on my Viper mini after 3 months of use, and is not the switches, it's the plastic shell. These main buttons have underneath them some pegs that are aligned in some plastic rail (those pegs are suppose to minimize button wobble). If the pegs are not well made, they can scratch the side walls of the rail. The only way to fix that, is to open the mouse and lubricate those pegs with some silicone lube (or anything that doesn't affect plastic) so it doesn't grind on those rails.
I'm having the same problem with my DA V3 Pro unit. The left click is fine but the right one started to creak after a month of daily use, unfortunately. I think something is wrong about the plastic shell that they made for this mouse
I took the advice of heseths comment and lubed the inside posts on the mouse button and it seems to have fixed the problem completely. I took apart the mouse and had some krytox on hand and applied that to 2 different posts on the right mouse button. There is the main one that makes direct contact to the mouse switch which I put some krytox on the sides of the rail that holds it in place then there is a much smaller post further behind on the mouse button that I also put krytox on. For good measure I also put did the same for the left mouse button even though I have had no issues with it so far. Also, sides of my mouse creak and flex so I put some double sided tape along the inside edge of the bottom plate which also completely fixed the creaking and reduced the flex. I had to cut small pieces of tape so they could fit along the edge without hanging out which can be annoying with bad scissors but other then that these were easy fixes.
Looks like a nice mouse, I'm considering it but Rtings latency tests show its latency is mostly slower than for example the Viper V3 Pro. The _Delay To End Of Movement_ is even almost 5 times slower (both compared at 8Khz). It's still not bad but it is something that stands out.
Coming from someone with 17.75 x 10 cm hands I’m still able to make micro adjustments and play consistent on the dav3. If you’re on the fence like I was I think it’s still worth giving it a shot.
Right as I saw this review I saw a 50% off used one of these bad boys go up on Amazon. It felt like fate. As a big hand person that’s been on a model o for a year now, I can’t wait.
This is gonna sound weird but i currently use a glorious model o, and i get hand cramps sometimes with it. Could be unrelated to it. But do you think going with the DAV3 with help with those hand cramps?
Please take time out to actively stretch your wrist and confirm your desk ergonomics / posture. Mouse-wise, you need to follow a tutorial to measure your hand and match it to a shape based off of that for the best match. You can't just assume an ergo case will fix hand cramps by default. But yeah, the DAV3 would probably help with hand cramps, lol.
Well find out why you have cramps first. Do you grip too tightly? Should you start stretching before playing? Are you getting enough electrolytes/hydration? Potassium, sodium, etc? Lastly if you think you're being forced to use a grip style you don't like because of it then you just have to try a bunch of mice to see what you like. Try to figure out if you have any physical or diet deficiencies to take care of before you buy a 100+ dollar mouse
In my personal experience, using the model o most of my hand would rest on the table and get very uncomfortable over time. With ergo mice i find that the shape supports my hand more (especially the hump near the back). I think you should definitely try the DAv3 out or even the Model D/D Wireless which is cheaper to see if it helps with your cramps, my guess is it probably will.
Hands: 19 by 11 cm Tbh the mouse is good no complains really. Is it "the best" Ergo mouse...no. Roccat Kone Pro wired (wireless version is a little bit too heavy) is far superior in every way to the DA V3. It has better coating, is lighter (albeit wired) and is way more comfortable and you aim better with it after extensive testing (not by much but still). Roccat Kone Pro is the best ergo mouse i've ever tested (and one of the best mice ever made imo in terms of ergo shape) and i have over 200 gaming mice here at home. Also the battery is a bit of let down. Shapewise even Ec2 is alot more comfy (but heavy unfortunately). Is it top 3 Ergo mice, definately Another big let down is the infamous shitty Synapse which won't save the profle you've made for DA V3. Which again is synonymous for Razer throughout the years: Great mice shapewise but quality issues in one way or the other whether we are talking defective mice or software. Always something. Very frustrating
I owned this mouse for about 5 months now and easily the best mouse i've ever owned. I have a gpro superlight too and the side buttons were one of the worst I've tried. The side buttons (which I use alot in games) were very mushy and not a great feeling when pressing but it was the complete opposite on the deathadder. The shape feels big but it made my aim feel so consistent and I feel like I dont overflick on it. If you have medium to bigish hands too, the shape is perfect for you.
@@sebak2003 in my opinion yes and especially if you have medium to big hands. Superlight is a good mouse dont get me wrong but theres so much better options out there that deserves the hype. Like Lamzu, G wolves and Pulsar mouses
I tested gpx superlight and DAV3, and I kept the gpx superlight, for some reason I feel that the gpx superlight is built with better materials than the DAV3 and the clicking is better for me on the gpx superlight. At the end of the day everything comes to what grip are you using and what do you feel more comfortable with. Great video!
@@milktruckdriver the gpx superlight hurts my fingers when i click. too hard clicks coming from a G502 HERO. DAV3 clicks seem lighter than GPX,. but harder than G502.
So I did have one concern about the razer mouse. the last razer mouse I got when I lifted it off the desk it kept moving the mouse for a good 5cm, which my logitech mouse does not, reason being that im looking at this mouse is I want wireless and ive heard overall good things about it, so I guess my question is has razer fixed that with this new mouse?
Thanks for the content, I'm going to buy one of these this month, do you recommend changing his feets? Which would you recommend? Corepad or tige ice or talon, or some other?
Bought viper V2 pro and found the left and right click had too much side play, the scroll wheel wobbles significantly side to side (it's too small), the upscroll and downscroll noise were unequal. Returned it because it was rubbish for a $150 product. Then I got the DAV3 pro. All the aforementioned issues gone. -Chefs kiss- Plus the shape was a better fit for my palm grip. I had to claw on Viper V2 pro.
I have wrist issues and docs told me to get an ergo mouse but my hands are 18.2x 9.9 I still bought it though and waiting for it to arrive. I hope it does well enough coming from a superlight
Have you noticed any battery issues with the DAV3 Pro? There's a ton of people reporting serious issues on the new Razer mice. First hand I can unfortunately say I had to RMA a Razer Viper V2 Pro after one month with it only lasting 237 mins. Got a DAV3 Pro to hold me over and SAME EXACT THING.... I was at MAYBE a total play time of 5-6 hours, went to sleep, battery was at 98%, SHUT IT OFF, turned it on next day and it was sitting at 12%. People are reporting when shutting the mouse off it some how is still on and destroys the battery. This one i wont be RMAing, just returning bc i can't be dealing with 2 RMAs from Razer lol. Google "Deathadder v3 Pro Battery issues" and you'll see what i mean.
Yea bro I just got my mouse last week and mines went from 100 to 50 percent in one day turned off. I'm wondering if its a Synapse problem? Overall for a 150$ mouse this shit should not be happening!
@@jvcarter21 figured out the fix for it! After hours of searching the internet I ran into a Reddit post that said leave that shit ON 24/7 + put Wireless power savings on 2 mins. I tried that and it works amazing now. I know it sounds weird leaving your mouse on and you get better battery life but that wireless power savings is what takes care of it after 2 mins. Hope this helps 😀
Honestly, I absolutely love the DAV3, but the round ridge on the bottom right side of the mouse kind of ruins it for me personally. The way I press my ring- and pinky finger sidewards against that ridge feels really uncomfortable to me.
I think it’s a great mouse. Me personally it’s just a bit too big so it feels like I have less control of it. I have big hands so it’s just a personal preference thing. I really wish that the side buttons were moved back slightly
Hey there Merry Christmas! I've been using this mouse for about a month now, coming from a Razer Mamba Elite I love almost everything about the mouse, but the clicks feel slightly a bit heavy to me coming from the mamba elite, would the viper v2 pro, or gpx have softer clicks than dav3? I play mainly mobas at a somewhat competitive level so I'm constantly clicking, maybe I need to give it more time, but I also have not tried out any of the other top tier light gaming mice.
I got black superlight second hand New for just 63.5USD total, what a steal. I think with mices like that its alot easier to find a great deal than with new stuff. Everyone is hating on skates quality and wearing off plastic, but i guess thats fine lol. Im changing my razer viper mini and man, what a great mice it is, the only issue scroll button isnt always working as intended
Yeah I'm ditching my Model D wireless for this, I had nothing but QC issues with that mouse on both copies the side buttons and dpi buttons just stopped working after not even a week of having both mice. I have melarge hands at 19x9 and the GPX just looks too small for my relaxed claw/palm and I've always been more of a ergo mouse person as it feels better in my hand, can't wait to see how this is. My first couple mice were always Razer for the build quality, I just hated synapse
Would you say this or the Viper v2 pro's worth the price? It'd take me around 3 months of saving + birthday money (Was going to be spent on an XM1r anyways). Only like 1 month left till I do have enough, but that's considering these mice even come to Turkey. Anyways, worth or what else shall I get (basically only big companies' mice exist here so yeah)? 18-11cm hands, claw grip.
my first one already has a broken mousewheel but the mouse is so good that i bought a second one just because of the performance, idk what i'll do if this one craps out too..
It took me a minute to adjust to the shape coming from a g pro super light, but it's a solid main. I run it with grip tape, but mostly to keep my fingers from wearing down/polishing the coating. It's also my main between it, the superlight and the viper 8k.
I originally got the viper v2 but didn’t like the lack of hump so I exchanged it for the DAV3 and I couldn’t be happier. As someone who plays at 1080p 390hz I definitely enjoy the 4K dongle as well.
I do wish you had posted this review a few days ago before I just bought a Logitech G Pro X Superlight instead. I guess the 30% off discount code I had also helped with my decision, but I really wanted one of these Razer Deathadder V3 Pro's because the shape is so much better.
My Deathadder V1 from 2012 just perished, (mouse wheel click). The only mouse I use daily is a Logitech M720. Not sure where to turn for my next mouse.
Just switched today from super light and I can say as a palm grip gamer it feels so nice in the hand. Idk if it’s my set up but wireless I was having some issues with pauses and stuttering in game. I’m having to use it wired at the moment until I can come up with a solution.
@@dddripz yes I did. Had to close all razer related programs in the background. Also was having a windows widgets issue where it was running memory at extreme high rate. So I have to close that whenever it opens.
I have both this and the super light and I CANNOT decide which one I like more. I like the feel of the v3 more but I just seem to do better in fps games with the superlofjt
As someone who never liked razer. This mouse is great, well played razer Edit: also gpx having the best features imo but a shape I dont love. This mouse is the saviour
hi, how much lod does that mouse come with default? mine on calibration on "high" doesnt even track more then 1 dvd (1.2mm. does urs do the same? thanks alot
I am on viper ultimate one and thinking about getting something new and white to match white huntsman mini keyboard(love it). I am a rather unique old style fingertip 1-3-1 gripper. Viper ultimate is excellent but my pinky kinda digs into the mouse on the right side. This is not at all suitable for 1-3-1 probably? Interested about glass pad too. I use just cloth razer pad but it's a pain to clean. What I look for in the pad is smoothness and silence. I don't want to hear or feel it. What pad do you use ? edit: btw scroll on viper ultimate sucks ass. Dock also. usb c would be great...
Currently have the Superlight and the G703. I play on the Superlight mostly because of the weight, but my grip feels perfect on the G703, however, it is a tad too heavy since I play on low sens. Do you think my grip on the Deathadder V3 Pro would feel close to how it is on the G703? I'm close to giving up on waiting for G703 Superlight.
I made the exact switch, from g703 straight to da3, nearly identical feel on the mouse + better coating. Do it with no second thoughts, you're gonna adjust to it immediately
The only thing is there’s a mark where my thumb sits and I can’t get it off, doesn’t bother me but that’s just a difference between mine and yours. Has a couple other marks too
I got this mouse and after using ambi mice for the past 5 years in the model o and viper ultimate, the shape on this is excellent a lot safer of a shape and as someone who uses claw grip with bigger 20cm x 10cm hands the comfort and stability I get from the DAV3 is night and day better compared the the Viper.
The only thing about it is that every so often it seems like the cursor "skips" on my screen. I'm not sure if that's a weird Windows thing or I'm imagining it or it's because I have it plugged into a switcher and I have no recorded evidence to prove one way or another, but that's the only possible weird thing I've noticed with it.
Thankyou for the reviews man, I finally got my hands on one and have been using the deathadder since 2013. It still blows my mind how good this mouse really is, never have I ever had a better aiming experience in my life until using this mouse.

Great mouse, if expensive. It's like holding a feather! onboard memory profile so you can make your changes and uninstall Synabloat too.
Would love to see you retest/rereview the Outset AX & EC2 now after you've used ergos as exclusively as a reviewer can for an extended period!
I think wired is just so hard to go back to after top tier wireless + the lighter clicks and 4000hz. you'd have to really prefer the shape by a large margin IMO
I second Haus’s comment 😊

Bought this after watching your first review and it's honestly so well built I can't see another mouse this good for a while as you said, my hands are kinda on the smaller size but after a while I think I found a pretty good grip with the mouse even if it's mostly suited for bigger hands, a smaller version would definetly pop off imo.
I'm waiting on mine. I even like the old DA shape somehow with 18.5x9 hands so i think il like this as well.
I like to use palm grip for flicks, and switch to fingertip in the heat of the moment when i need to track. How is fingertip with this one? If its passable this mouse might be endgame for me.
7 months since this comment, any news on things breaking or the plastic flexing?
Which one are you more comfortable with? Hand grip wise
Definitely the best mouse for people who have large hands.
they're on lethal gaming gear lmao corepads are the industry standard skates so idk what kind of crack you're smoking brother
!!!If your thinking about getting this mouse all i can say is.. DO IT!!!
(For reference my hand size: 19cm from middle finger to wrist, 10cm from thumb to edge of hand)
you will not regret it!
What sensor feel better and more accurate this one or the g pro super light?

This was helpful, Ty 👍
We have the exact same hand size. Hell, yeah. Thanks for this! Definitely gonna go with the Dav3 Pro.
I love the Deathadder V3 Pro. I have had this mouse for two months already. Nothing to complain about; I do love this shape better than the original.
Well what happened? Did it fix the problem?
Yea the gpx is collecting dust ever since I picked this up
I got one in addition to my gpx, originally on return-if-it-doesnt-feel-right basis but it has essentially instantly become my new main.
It feels lighter in the hand than the gpx since it's larger, the side buttons are MILES better and both the stock grips and skates feel as good as my aftermarket ones on the gpx.
No QC issues for me, can only recommend (palm/claw hybrid, 20 by 10)
Edit: i do also get that slight 'pop' from the shell you mentioned occasionally
Thanks for the feedback on it. I have similar sized hands (20 by 11) and I relax claw, but find the GPX to be too small for me with the grip, so I'm waiting on the DA3 to arrive tomorrow.
@@RemedieX how is it?
20x10 hands here as well. Started off with the EC1-C, moved to the GPX, and today I am awaiting my DAV3. Can't wait to experience that GPX weightless and wireless tech with the comfort of the EC1-C.
@@farvezafridifaizurrahman6980 and how do you like it?I also ordered dav3,having gpx,ec1-c
Also, didn't know boardzy was an NBA fan ;)
if you can get a pulsar xlite v2 it's definitely the move
For me I have very wide hands so I find the EC2 isn’t wide enough. Hand dimensions likely matter quite a bit for this sort of thing I expect.
Sold. My Viper V2 Pro is amazing but super uncomfortable for casual play. I love it.
Definitely some manufacturing variance and QC tolerance
just buy btl grips
@@7byn7 thats not the point, there shouldnt be qc issues on a 150 dollar product
After about a month and a half of using this mouse I've been experiencing creaking on the side where I rest my thumb. Also the slippery coating made the included side grips a must for me, but I'm concerned about their durability. The side grips also collect a lot of skin oils. That's the only problems I've had with this mouse.
Durability will be fine
@@natedagreat6704 it's really not. I ended up selling the mouse because of the shit durability. Can tell it's not going to last.
18x9 hands, caved in and bought this mouse. It fits like a glove, don't let someone say you have too small hands if you think it'll fit you.
I like wide mice with 9cm wide hands. Any other wide mice you’ve disliked?
@@LumidonHaven’t really found anything wide enough to bother me. I own a Haste and Orochi beyond this. Haste is wider but flat asf. I will say dav3 will potentially feel bulky if you want a good ampunt of your hand on your mousepad for whayever reason

hey boardzy, you have been instrumental in my decision to pull the trigger on this mouse and it is my new main, went from the gpx superlight to this, it's been ages since i used an "ergo" mouse and it's bliss.
@@skuko1980 Gotcha, thanks. The thing really drawing me is the shape like you said so 😬probably gonna have to get one.
A ton of mice function like this.
holy hell I just tried this out because I read your comment and it blown my mind
This is the best wireless ergo option as of 2022
As of 2023 as well. Even in a world of wireless Zowie and Vaxees coming up, DAV3 seems to be the only large ergo option on the planet right now.
Are you gonna post an updated mouse pad tier list? I’m really looking forward to one!
I've broken a side button on 3 different GPX's :(
How big are your hands? I also have very large hands and yet to find a mouse that fits me well.
@@Makaveli6103 same here. 20x12.5. g703 has being the most comfortable so far, curious what the dav3 feels like.
@@mushbeck6065 it is the best mouse I have tried for large hands. Highly recommend.
I have the death adder v3 and after tons of play time with it I can honestly say it is my main as well. I have the Pulsar X2, GPX, Lamzu Atlantis, Viper V2, and plenty of others and nothing matches the V3 for me. Have a hyper polling dongle on the way too!
is your x2 unit alright? considering the forest green x2 fe but i'm worried about qc and the click feel :')
Wanna send a mouse over ?? Got a hyper x plus fire with wire and it doesn’t feel right at all
How was the difference with Dongle? In like fps? Worth?
How does this compare to a SteelSeries Rival 600? As far as the sensor for CS:GO? Thanks! is it worth picking this mouse up, If I have the Rival 600?
Where’s the updated keyboard tier list
Please Razer give us a Mini DA V3 Pro 🥺
My hands are on the smaller end (sort of, I haven’t really measured my hand cuz idk how) but I got the daV3 and it honestly is great, the only issue I have is that coming from using the orochi v2, I really really wish the mouse clicks were sharper, and I do miss the tactile knob on the orochi
Just got one last week and I must say this is the best a mouse has ever felt to me.
I had that problem with the viper ultimate but none of the mice with the newest version of the opticals, so far at least
Hope to see new Xtrfy M8... maybe a real good small Gpx finally (i hope)
Hello, @boardzy !
Do you think it's worth to buy a DAV3 pro now? Or should I wait until dav4 comes out?
If the price is below 100$, buy it otherwise wait
Looks like a nice mouse, I'm considering it but Rtings latency tests show its latency is mostly slower than for example the Viper V3 Pro. The _Delay To End Of Movement_ is even almost 5 times slower (both compared at 8Khz). It's still not bad but it is something that stands out.
Coming from someone with 17.75 x 10 cm hands I’m still able to make micro adjustments and play consistent on the dav3. If you’re on the fence like I was I think it’s still worth giving it a shot.
I have 21 x 11/10,5 cm, do you think its big enough for my hands as well?
@@hidingman3578 you have the perfect size for it
i think i would be pushing it if I tried it with my 16x9 hands lol
Hands: 19 by 11 cm
Tbh the mouse is good no complains really. Is it top 3 Ergo mice, definately
Another big let down is the infamous shitty Synapse which won't save the profle you've made for DA V3.
It’s better than logitech superlight pro?
@@sebak2003 in my opinion yes and especially if you have medium to big hands. Superlight is a good mouse dont get me wrong but theres so much better options out there that deserves the hype. Like Lamzu, G wolves and Pulsar mouses

@@notblazedfordays9536 From using the dav3, have you encountered any drawbacks?
@@Bemindz for me personally, not at all. Absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone!
what's your hand size?
Did you figure it out?
@@dddripz yes I did. Had to close all razer related programs in the background. Also was having a windows widgets issue where it was running memory at extreme high rate. So I have to close that whenever it opens.
So wait, Razer Deathadder V3 Pro vs Logitech G Pro X Superlight? You’re saying you’d choose the V3 Pro overall? If so why?
how long does the battery last with 1000hz polling rate and 800 DPI? i cannot get more than 3 days. is that normal?
Any news on a fingertip grip mouse like the orochi v2?
fantech aria is similar just a bit bigger
What mouse pad is that btw It looks like glass the shape and color looks amazing
I have both this and the super light and I CANNOT decide which one I like more. I like the feel of the v3 more but I just seem to do better in fps games with the superlofjt
As someone who never liked razer. This mouse is great, well played razer
Edit: also gpx having the best features imo but a shape I dont love.
@@graure Took me a while but thanks for this! Just ordered one for $120.
The only thing is there’s a mark where my thumb sits and I can’t get it off, doesn’t bother me but that’s just a difference between mine and yours. Has a couple other marks too
y is victor webanyana in the thumbnail?
Shocking, what would be good replacement feet that are same feeling as stock?
my deathadder v3 is coming in a couple days, its gonna be my first ever wireless mouse, im so excited
Hi , do you recommend it with 18.5x9cm handsize ? My grip is clawgrip - lowtilted grip , thankss ,
What material is that mousepad made of? It looks and sounds so smooth and solid.
I wish they would make one slightly smaller since it’s the same dimensions of EC1. I always liked the size of the ec2
