The first time I saw Lena she instantly became one of my favorite characters of Ducktales together with Donald, Daisy, Della, Scrooge McDuck, Webby (April), May, June, and Huey, Dewey, and Louie.
I mean Im satisfied with the friendship ending But the fact that Lena went as far as saying "She's MINE" with the mistake of not saying if she meant as her friend or not It gives me gay vibes from Lena lol
When i was a little younger then them i had a huge crush on a girl i knew, but i only had seen these disney movies whit prince and princess so i didn't realised how much i liked her. But i knew i liked her a lot. So to explain everyone how close i was feeling to her i refered to her as someone like a sister (it took me 8 years to realise how big i was simping for her)
I like this sort of character: it is presented like the run-of-the-mill older kid that takes advantages of your skill to benefit him/herself, but he/she's actually a nice person and WILL come to your aid. I really love that about Lena. Make her also the adaptation of YET ANOTHER character we Italians saved from the English limbo, and I'm sold. Seriously Disney, you have a lot of good comic book characters and you are wasting them left and right... Fethry, Minima, Rockerduck...
Ok I’m super salty because a few months ago I was reading a Weblena fanfic that was like a Pirate au and Webby was a murderous Mermaid and I CAN’T FIND IT! I never finished it an I miss it.....
In a few years Scrooge will, slightly anxiously but still happily, watch from his mansion as his clone and Magica's shadow (and probably Violet as well) venture out from home on their first great unsupervised adventure together... Only, instead of being possessed by greed like he was and filling a bin with money that she has sentimental attachments to in order to remind her of her adventures, Webby is going to have a library full of diaries; and instead of spending long and lonely nights looking at a lock of hair dropped by the love of her life back in her youth like he did, she's going to have Lena's head full of hair to noogie whenever she darn well feels like it; and instead of having made his mistake of alienating his friends and family, she's going to keep the most dear, precious and valuable things in her life close to her heart, and in that way he's going to be confident that she's going to surpass him and become the successor to his title as the richest duck in the world... I dunno, it just feels to me like the perfect conclusion to the McDuck saga.
Anyone who dislikes the video are just salty Debbigal, Loubby, & Huebby, Shippers. I've never been a fan of shipping Webby with any of the triplets because I saw her more as a sister to them, but with Webby and Lena, it was just different, and I've had so much bad experiences with people that ship Webby with the triplets, most of them are just so toxic, some are very homophobic, and some of them are just, completely awful. And even though it's canon that Webby is related to the triplets, they refuse to give up their ship just because "Webby's a clone so their's no blood relation". In my opinion, Family is family, no matter if they're related by blood or not. Those shippers probably should've just listened to the creators when they said they didn't want Webby to be shipped with the triplets, and how they said Webby would not be romantically involved with them over and over and over again-

Weblena for the win. I feel like Disney is still anti lgbtq at times so naturally they thought better not to go there and somehow end the series with very few if not at all pairings or ships. Ducktales, at least this one over the original had so much more content and development with the characters and Weblena had so much playfulness and honesty to it I would have loved to see it develop more if there was time. I suppose we'll just have to leave it to the fanwriters now to save Weblena.

I can kinda see why Weblena isn’t canon tbh. Webby is like 11 years old, right? Disney isn’t too fond of putting characters that young through relationships, even when they’re risking their lives on a daily basis.
