I love Billie’s songs but her quiet singing means the songs never really go anywhere in terms of dynamics. I always thought this chorus deserved to be shouted out loud. Thanks for making the best version of the song.

That's exactly the stylistic choice that made billie unique and built her career basically. And that's what I like from her, that she doesn't pretend anything, she does her thing you like it or not. Driving under the rain with "everything I wanted" with the bass pumping subtly is an amazing soothing experience that it never will happen for me if the song was belted out in the choruses and other parts like the other pop ones do.
This is the best arrangement of this song I've ever heard, and in my opinion it works better this way than in the original due to the tension and payoff

The song is about a suicidal dream and the loving brother who is there for her when she wakes up. As much fun as this rock 'em sock 'em guitar heavy version is, it lacks the emotional subtlety of the original.
