Man, good on those Red announcers. They were doing their best to keep the code and they absolutely nailed it.
He straight up said “Blake snell has a no hitter through 5 innings” or something similar.
What’s the code? I know it’s bad etiquette for the teammates of the pitcher to mention it, but that’s all I know.
The Giants announcers were the same.

My boy had to a throw a no-no for his first W as a G-man. In all seriousness, mans was dialed in and put the fear of god into the rest of the league with that performance tonight. Rest of the league crossing their fingers that we dont make the playoffs cuz if we do, with our rotation... Should I mention it's an even year?

The only thing that’ll keep snell with the giants if is they start winning a lot more games this second half. If they do I see him considering staying. Their chances will be better next year for sure

Well Reds, a no hitter in your own home park, the so-called hitters park. Can't hit can't take advantage of a hitters ballpark. Give Snell credit. Lodolo gets rocked by the Cubs, Abbott pitches decent in the Reds last two home games. Like the Giants, Reds are going no place faster than you can say "Who Dey." By the way, how many games will it take before Ty France gets just his FIRST hit in a Reds uniform? Reds front office helps by acquiring help like we all acquire a case of hemorrhoids.

I didn’t realize until later that this was the first time Snell has pitched into the 9th inning. I know it’s not that weird this day and age, but not with a pitcher this elite. I would’ve guessed that he would’ve had 5 or 6 complete games. Maybe a shutout or 2.

if this is the giants highlights why do we not see the two baserunners get to base at the top of the fifth but see heliot strike out? obvi after the fact we know nothing happens but if someone is watching these highlights to catch up the editors miss key components to the game that people who can't watch live

@@thailien as someone that can't watch all of the games i don't even mind the strikeouts. hell i'd like it if they'd show every at bat all the way through but for some reason sports highlights cut a lot of the filler out as i know not everyone wants to watch highlights that are that long
