Hi! We are Pooja & Shravan, an illustrator-engineer duo from Bangalore brought together by the love of travel and adventure.
We have traveled together since the winter of 2016. On one such trip, we started documenting these travels on a humble phone camera. We soon realised that we really enjoy capturing these experiences. We are entirely self taught (students of the internet) and have learnt from binging on brilliant creators over the years.
In our videos you might find glimpses of places that are not spoken about enough. We always vouch for spots that are somewhat the underdogs. Our vlogs are sometimes vlog-ish and sometimes a documentation of the place as we see it. We hope that watching these videos will bring a little dose of joy to your day.

We had a family trip to Kerala and we’re not able to accommodate northern Malabar in our schedule. I am planning to do a solo trip next time and now will definitely make sure to experience theyyam !

Both bhoota kola and there and thira all are starting at the areas where theyyam rituals ends and the central part of the area called kannur and its surrounding areas where most theyyams happens so may be all this ritual styles have been originated from the centre

Hey Guys, recently while scrolling in UA-cam I came to see your videos (to be precise the theyyam ones ) … it’s really mesmerizing how good you guys are in creating such videos which makes anyone to be become a cinephile ….. Anyway wishing u both all the very best for your UA-cam career …..nd one more thing right now in Kerala, it’s the season of festivals called pooram (May be you guys have seen festivals with parade of elephant procession and fireworks) which will be held throughout every districts but mainly Thrissur and Palakkad from Jan to May ( Note :- Famous one is Thrissur pooram)

Thiyyans god's are theyyams
Centuries old thiyyas theyyam thottams do mention the meaning of the name thiyya as divya/divyan in several times in the theyyam rituals
Thiyyas are shaktheya hindhus thiyya means divyan/divine and theyyam means daivam/ deva and in central asian and Chinese language also the word thiyya meens divine/deva or heaven and the ritual performance of the divine is called theyyam And most theyyams are related with thiyya community of north malabar and thiyyas ancestor god is vayanaattu kulavan/aadi divyan/aadi thiyyan and ancestor godess or kula devi is Arya poomaala bagavathi and sree kurumba bagavathi is also an important goddess of thiyyas almost all sree kurumba kavu and temples in malabaar is related with thiyya and they also worship muthappan in all parts in the country and many of thiyya theyyams do mention Arya word many times in their theyyam thottams like Arya nation,Arya land, Arya god,Arya king,Arya daughter etc.. and the nearby hindhu communitys around north malabar area also adopted theyyams from years and the theyyams in this video also related to thiyyas ancestor and gentic studies by indian government authorities also saying thiyyas have an out side origin from south india and thiyya played a huge role in the spread of kalaripayattu, Ayurveda and theyyams in malabar kerala
In the Vedic tradition, soma (Sanskrit: सोम, romanized: sóma) is a ritual drink of importance among the early Vedic Indo-Aryans.The Rigveda mentions it, particularly in the Soma Mandala. Gita mentions the drink in chapter 9 It is equivalent to the Iranian haoma(alcohol drink)The relationship between humans and the deity was one of transaction, with Agni (the sacrificial fire) taking the role of messenger between the two. Strong traces of a common Indo-Iranian religion remain visible, especially in the Soma cult and the fire worship and animal sacrifice is also part of early vedic tribs

Palakad not Malabar
Until 1956 palakkad and thalassery was the main town of malabar, there was no malappuram. Palakkattusseey varna was migrated from near thirur. Most of the malabar people's from palakkad who was migratsd to kozhimode, kannur, kasargod, trivandrum
