Brother Tall. Great video. The thing that gets me the most is the connection you have with your dad. Loved the picture of his 68. Stay safe and thank you for the fantastic videos!
I got one,and i absolutely love this bike.I am gonna keep it classic looking too.You are right it is very comfortable so far.Put that one in your stable.
Nice review. Just stumbled upon your channel. Liking the videos. Keep up the good work. I'm still falling in love with my FLH Revival (#144) every time I ride it.
Beautiful bike! Harley has hit back to back grand slams with the Revival and Pan America The three dealerships in my area sold them as soon as they received them……. Ride hard or stay home 😎
I realize what a "collectors" bike (or car) might mean to someone in the future if it potentially holds its value (or gains value) but im all about riding. I'd keep it nice and not change anything but I'd be on the road for sure. Wouldn't be able to stop myself from doing it lol
Great video, I'm 6'5 and have the same problem. I'm absolutely in love with the seating position. They need to make this an option for Electra Glides and even Road Kings. Being up higher in the bike your legs don't kill you. It takes a lot to move them up and down all the time. I know you have connections now to Harley-Davidson maby they will listen.
I picked up a 2020 RGS a few months ago and the three things you say about the M8 vs the twin cam are so accurate. I had it on the freeway yesterday and it really squats at high speed and becomes one with the road. It’s so smooth it feels like it oozes. It’s fast enough for me as is, just needs rumble and tweaks for comfort.
Love the connection that you made with the 75ish Eldorado, have seen the revival at a dealership, it stands out. All the carping about the m8, I have a 21 street glide, and I love the engine
Love the concept of this bike. I wouldn't get this bike but I can't wait to see what they build next in the Revival series. Trade out the Road King for the Revival!
Yesterday I bought the original from 1971 with the first Late Shovelhead engine, it is not a replica :-) BTW: The sound of the original is way better than the replica and can’t be copied;-)
If I was going to trade in my 2016 TC 103 HO GOLD METALFLAKE W/ROOT BEER GHOST FLAMES/ HARD CANDY CUSTOM ST DELUXE which Harley only made some 1360 of by the way, it would be for this bike...SIMPLY MAGNIFECENT!
Love it. Yeah they are supposed to do the retro revivals of bikes that paved the way for harleys over the yrs. I think it was mentioned on Matt laidlaws channel.
Modern motorcycle with retro style. Good job Harley Davidson! It is a bit pricey for what you get. But that's just me. Saw one in person and it is beautiful
You know Tall, I think the smaller diameter wheel with a taller sidewall is a better ride quality..,my 2005 heritage soaked up the bumps better than my 2014 ultra and I really like the looks of the wide whites on this bike you're riding!!
Thanks so much for reviewing this bike (sarcasm intended). Now you’ve got me wanting to go test ride one and then I know I’d buy it. But I just bought a ‘21 Ultra Limited in February. 😂💰
If you like that bike, check out the police bikes, they are priced very good for what you get. They have extras: factory fan on oil cooler and much more.
Cheers man, this could very well be my next Hog. Like you I love my 2010 Road King but I do find the legs a bit cramped, Im only 6ft but I do have long legs. Im still a chrome guy and this really fits the bill, looks of a sixties bike but with bang up to date tech. I only ever ride solo too so no probs there, great review thanks again✊
The seat that comes on this bike is very much like the police motor seat as far as height and how it positions the rider to ride more up right. So if you want that type of riding positioning, which I personally like, swap your seat out 👍
It's basically a police bike with color and a stereo/nav. That's like a 8K upcharge for that and we're not even into the dealer convenience fees that get charged because it's numbered. Nothing wrong with the bike, it's just a lot for what it is.
I am very disappointed in the comfort of mine, I feel every bump in my spine and in the handlebars. I also get a really bad wobble above 80 mph. I had it in to get suspension adjusted twice already with little improvement. I don’t think I will be taking any long trips on this bike which is a shame. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love this bike and it is beautiful. I would buy again, it’s a shame mine is not as comfortable as everyone else says it is.
I do not know what the asking price is but if they have had it for a while it is probably over price, a few dealers had them for MSRP others from $35000.00-$45000.00 I would not have one if I had to pay any place close to those #.
Check this out Tall, I have a 2005 Road King the same color blue as yours. I think the color is called Lighting Blue not absolutely sure or it may be the color on some of the Ford F150. I add a lower tinted blue windshield to mine , got the wide white wall tries with chrome spoke wheels. That the look l was going for that old style, got the fringes on the brake and clutch handles. Me and some of club members from Jackson TN will be up in your area this weekend. Would be great to meet you and hang out for a while. Be blessed Bro. 10-4.
Great bunch of people at bootlegger. I stop there going through Knoxville every chance I get. Your Road King needs some upgrades. That 88 is definitely under powered compared to the bikes today. Take it to Zippers. They will know what to do. Scrap that five speed and upgrade it to a Baker 6 or 7 speed. Get some better suspension under it on the front and rear and you will be amazed at how well that bike gets down the road.
The problem of getting one is figuring out which one you want. If you buy this retro then the one that calls to your soul comes out in a yr ID be pissed lol. And im sure the cost around cvo prices
Beautiful bike without a doubt, but I would be hard-pressed to pony up the $40+k that my local dealership sold it for the other other day. (From what one of the salesman told me anyway)
Get rid of the fairing, blue white paint and id like have 1. Really kills the classic look with the fairing on it for IMO. Ive never been impressed with numbered bikes to be honest i've had 1 and i no others that have had them. They may be worth more money but its not because of the number it because of the style of the bike.
Harley should NOT have made it a limited Bike. Keep it as a "Revival Series in their Touring models Bikes" where anyone could purchase and if they upgraded why didn't they put LED
Retro and more retro. How about more modern retro. How about more aluminum and carbon fiber. American super heavy cruisers need a diet. Just a 100 pounds would make a huge difference in braking, acceleration, and handling. Cheaper for Harley to place a larger engine vs lightening the bike. People buy used Harley’s over new as nothing changes except paint jobs
I have #869 15 miles on it, I most likely will never ride it, did not test ride it, delivered in a enclosed trailer and it has sit were it is for a month.
Hey Tall, I bought #951 from Columbia HD and I ride it! It's Hi-Fi blue and Birch white. Keep your knees in the breeze man, see ya on the road!
Jerry Motorman Palladino bought two new Revival's! GREAT looking bikes!!!!
Tall, as you rode that bike, I thought you would actually talk yourself into trading the Road King and taking that beauty home instead!!
Love this bike. So much that I ended up looking for and finding a solo seat rail for my Yamaha Road Star.
From what I understand, this is the first of the “Icon Series”. It will be interesting to see what they choose to “revive” next.
I love the Electra Glide Revival!! The new series is called the Icon Collection. Can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
I hope they include the XLCR in the Icon Collection. The new Revolution Max engine would be great in a bike like that.
That seat sets it off! Nice bike too!
The old “Buddy Seat” could seat two. I had the “Buddy Seat” on my 1974 Electra Glide.
The current seat frame is the same as the Police seat. 🏍💨🏍💨
👍the buddy seat. Thanks for commenting.
Nice review. Just stumbled upon your channel. Liking the videos. Keep up the good work. I'm still falling in love with my FLH Revival (#144) every time I ride it.
Thanks Tall. My favorite Revival review
Beautiful bike! Harley has hit back to back grand slams with the Revival and Pan America The three dealerships in my area sold them as soon as they received them……. Ride hard or stay home 😎
I dont know what kind of connections you got.... but you always get your hands on all of the cool stuff..... great content as usual bro!!!
I realize what a "collectors" bike (or car) might mean to someone in the future if it potentially holds its value (or gains value) but im all about riding. I'd keep it nice and not change anything but I'd be on the road for sure. Wouldn't be able to stop myself from doing it lol
I'm 5'10" and the seating position just didn't work for me. Cool bike but I don't like the way I fit it.
Heya Tall! We bought #411…and the second one we put a deposit on hasn’t been built yet. Awaiting which number it will be! A lovely bike!
Great video, I'm 6'5 and have the same problem. I'm absolutely in love with the seating position. They need to make this an option for Electra Glides and even Road Kings. that's the best way to ride, tall in the saddle, much more comfortable for tall guys.
They made the later saddles lower to appeal to a wider range of riders.
I love it ! Beautiful bike ! I’m digging the seat toooo !

Thanks for watching and commenting. I'll keep the Road King for a little while longer. I have to make it my own.
Yesterday I bought the original from 1971 with the first Late Shovelhead engine, it is not a replica :-)

That's a great looking bike. Harley did an awesome job on the retro.

Wow Tall that is one very cool bike!!
Great vid as always
He DOESN’T Miss 👏🤩
I absolutely love this bike. 100% agree on all points. The question is Tall. How much over sticker will you pay? Is anyone selling for sticker?
A real Beauty , just missing the two up seat
You know Tall, I think the smaller diameter wheel with a taller sidewall is a better ride quality..,my 2005 heritage soaked up the bumps better than my 2014 ultra and I really like the looks of the wide whites on this bike you're riding!!

An awesome bike. Plain n simple....
You gave an awesome review on an awesome Harley. Thanks!
Cheers man, this could very well be my next Hog. Like you I love my 2010 Road King but I do find the legs a bit cramped, Im only 6ft but I do have long legs. If I had the money, I'd get it too. Thank you, Tall.
Haven't got them in Australia for sale yet to my knowledge
Can't help liking it, I would like to see a Deluxe edition in this series... And i understand you wanting one👍
Great lookin’ bike for sure!
Thanks for watching and commenting.
Use the RoadKing and make you a copy of the Revival, seat included. We could tell you loved it.
The Harley dealer in my area wants $5000 over MSRP for this bike. I laughed at the salesman when he told me that.
Yeah they got it right with that bike. It looks really great!
The seat that comes on this bike is very much like the police motor seat as far as height and how it positions the rider to ride more up right. So if you want that type of riding positioning, which I personally like, swap your seat out 👍

Yeah, I’m not really into retro things but that is a beautiful bike! 👍🏾
L.D.
Nice bike that seat def looks comfortable. Be cool to get one on loan for u to take on a nice road trip and see how comfortable it is on the long run

That's a cool looking bike. It's in 2nd place to the Tour Glide. I'm sure you know why, LOL!
Like taking a 65 mustang shell and do all new modern chassis and all
Please Please do a "Springer Revival" Harley Davidson... PLEASE : )
I'm a new subscriber to your channel from Australia and really like your content I have a fledgling channel myself. Great videos mate 👍🇦🇺
Nice review. Tks. 👍🏾
How much for the seat setup? Good looking bike.
Tall were can I find a pair of those gloves you are wearing

Sounds like you’re ready to trade the Road King in for it Tall!
But , does it " leak " like the 68 models ? Nice ride
The problem of getting one is figuring out which one you want. If you buy this retro then the one that calls to your soul comes out in a yr ID be pissed lol. And im sure the cost around cvo prices
Traveling Tall, how tall are you BRO? Great review!
Beautiful bike without a doubt, but I would be hard-pressed to pony up the $40+k that my local dealership sold it for the other other day. (From what one of the salesman told me anyway)
So cool!!!
Or a Imagine a nice green or a nice orange the same way the blue is on that one
i think i just saw elvis :))
I’m a 6’4ft guy, do you think the Electra glide is suited for tall folks?
Get rid of the fairing, blue white paint and id like have 1. Really kills the classic look with the fairing on it for IMO. Ive never been impressed with numbered bikes to be honest i've had 1 and i no others that have had them. They may be worth more money but its not because of the number it because of the style of the bike.
That's basically the same seat the police use on their bikes
Yo talll Imagine a nice 23 on the front and some nice bars on 16s
Sitting on this bike feels you are sitting on an 10-inch board. No give at all!
Harley should NOT have made it a limited Bike. Keep it as a "Revival Series in their Touring models Bikes" where anyone could purchase and if they upgraded why didn't they put LED
But there's a silly chromium-plated cover where the speedometer should be?
Red, Black, they will sell
Street Glide with a different trim package IMO
Since the street glide is literally a lowered and stripped down Electra glide …………… you sure hit the nail on the head pal
I don't think that tank looks retro. Just the seat, fairing and hardbags basically.
Add a passenger pad
It sho' is purdy.
Add fishtails and a cam
He call you merv the perv lol, jus kidding 🙏🇵🇷🥊
Wasn't a 69 Eldorado
It's all good but the retro thing is just about dead here in 2023. People are looking for a cooler running Harley that stays off the lift for repairs.
Its an EG standard with a radio and a paint job and wayyyyyy overpriced as usual from HD i love the look but would never pay 30k for that!!!
MADE IN U.S.A. 10-4
The color of that bike is boring... Looks like someone decided to paint their bike and only painted half of it.
It’s so over priced Harley should be ashamed
Actually Harley under priced the bike. As proof, try and find a dealer selling one for MSRP.
I don't think that tank looks retro. Just the seat, fairing and hardbags basically.
