Today, I am sharing my favorite primers for that lovely dewy, glowy skin look! These are the ones that work best on my mature, dry, skin.
I hope you find this video helpful. And as ALWAYS I would love to know what your favorite glowy primers are?
You guys the Sephora Spring Sale is coming up and I thought I would start sharing some of my favorites in categories! You can't find all of these primers at Sephora but most of them.
According to an Instagram post from @trendmood1, the dates of the Sephora Spring Sale will be:
ROUGE: Friday, April 26th - Monday, May 6th
VIB: Thursday, May 2nd - Monday, May 6th
Beauty Insider: Thursday, May 2nd - Monday, May 6th.
HOWEVER, I still have yet to receive an email or mailer directly from Sephora to confirm these dates. I will keep you posted.
FOR REFERENCE- My skin type is mature, dry, rosacea prone. I am 50 years old and my issues are hyperpigmentation, keeping rosacea at bay, and general anti-aging.

I bought a set of the three by terry cc serums and it contained the rose and apricot and sunny ones. I just received it yesterday and tried the apricot one today. Liked it but will see how the others perform this week. Thanks for all your recommendations!!!

Have u tried the it cosmetics secret sauce??? Its super glowy its nice and it reminds me of tatcha dewy cream same price tho lol and i love the dermalogica prisma spf 30 is nice n glowy
Beautiful Abby, is the scent of the Wonder Glow is comparable to the By Terry, scent or is the Charlotte Tilbury one lighter?! I remember, that Wonder Glow also had a faint rose scent?! Thanks for the help and your honest opinion on this one. Xoxo, Steffi
When you mix the Tom Ford illuminating primer with the stick foundation, do you mix it before you put it on or just use it underneath the makeup? Thanks!!

Hi Abby. I've been looking at shades in the Koh gen do foundation, as the 123 is a little light you said. I bought it last week after first trying 113 which was a tad light. I took a chance with the 123 and the difference is very subtle but perfect. I think 143 is your only option and hopefully it's also a subtle difference from the 123, and not so dramatic as the picture. I've been catching up on your videos which I enjoy, even though our skin types are different. I like your happy disposition and you make me smile. My fellow Brit Caroline does that too.

Does flawless filter works well with koh gen do aqua foundation?
I only use primers for a glowy boost on myself. When I did makeup professionally I was all about skincare/prep. I used moisturizer and perhaps a bit of primer around the t zone for oily/combo clients. My fave makeup on most clients was the Laura Mercier Mineral powder. I worked for Laura Mercier for a few years and was a little biased hehe! I also loved Eve Lom's mineral powder(now discontinued). My top 5 "primers" currently are CT Wonder Glow(actually feels like it plimps, softens and adds such a natural dew, Tom Ford Illuminating Base, Sensai Glow Base and Cetaphil Daily Moisturizer w SPF(adds glow) and I really loved using a spray SPF on people for glow :) I just found out Scott Barnes does this too! For oilier skin you can actually prep and add powder (light dusting) then a lightweight oil free foundation and spot conceal. I love the Hollywood Filter..I use it as foundation in shades #4 and #5 and a highlight in shade#3(rose gold/peachy) and its perfection but I love to GLLLLOOOWWWW LOL. The By Terry CC Serum is what I wear on my collar bones and shoulders!! Very pretty! If you want to try a beautiful loose powder..Lancome Absolue Powders(I have shades Pearl, Peche(glowy) and Med Ecru), its so fine and soft, a light dusting keeps you looking healthy w/o leaving you too matte! I am not a powder gal per-say so if I like powder...its gotta be good (right)?!

By Terry cc in apricot is my holy grail but I also buy the bronze and mix .... I could not use the bobby brown balm due to the essential oil fragrance etc....irritated my skin..

Hi! Thank you for the great video! I know it's a lot to ask, but, would you consider adding a link for the tops you wear in future videos to the info box? You have great style I want to copy! 😀 Also, do you have a lipstick stain you'd recommend? I'm on the hunt for one that isn't drying and stays on for awhile. I'm not a reapply girl, but like the look of something on my lips.
You are so sweet! Yes, I can! This shirt is from J Crew and is a few years old thus the reason I did not list it but I will definitely as least share where I got my shirt. As far as a lipstick stain- I really like the YSL LIpstain in #7-go.magik.ly/ml/mdio/ and the Pat McGrath Lip Fetish Lip Balms- they give you a nice little stain without drying out your lips. BLOW UP is my fav!! I hope this helps.
All time favorite is the Burberry Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base. I legitimately cannot put makeup on without mixing this in or putting it on my skin first or I don't feel I look "right". It is similar to the CT Wonderglow, but I prefer Burberry because it's more hydrating and almost cooling on the skin. It also is very subtle, it don't have much color once blended, but it looks dewey and glowy. I sometimes mix a pump of this with a bit of the Vita Liberata face blur in Latte Light and get a beautiful look without makeup. Also, not that you're looking for one, but I would say that I find the Vita Liberata a good substitute for the By Terry CC Lumi serum. It's a bit cheaper but similar effect without fragrance. :)
OOH.... I think I have to get both of these Joey! The Vita Liberata has been on my list and I have a few Burberry Foundations but not the GLOW BASE-- can you believe it! Check it out now. xoxo

Chrissy- I would say my all time favorite is the Wonderglow because I have actually repurchased a few times. If you want more of an oomph effect- then I would go with the Hollywood Flawless Filter. I hope this helps. xoxo

Do you use any type of sunscreen on your face?
Yes, I wear it daily and I apply the primer on after my sunscreen. I use Glo Beauty SPF 50 Solar Shade. xoxo
Abby Bliss White thank you! :) I was wondering what step to apply it. I have very sensitive dry skin and some sunscreens can be irritating to my skin
I was wondering about adding primers after sunscreen, too. Do you think it lessens the efficacy of the SPF? I'm assuming not if it's a physical SPF, since that creates a "physical" barrier....🤷

Nope. Wrong restaurant. Atlantic fish and chop, that's the one. Our Inn keepers said that's where they went on date nights. Reviews on line not what I expected but we loved sitting on the outside deck and loved the food.
A lot of high end beauty products have mineral oil and petroleum at the beginning of ingredient list thats a NO NO for my skin.
