I’m 58 just! & I still love y palettes, my 17 year old twins never have to buy any, they don’t realise how lucky they are😂I work extremely hard on keeping my skin look good, & it’s for no other reason, than making sure makeup looks good on it!

The Jackie Aina palette got so much hate, but I love it! You can tell, she really thought about the color story she was creating, not to mention how versatile it is. I'm not necessarily a fan of hers but I don't care because she created a gorgeous product.

I love the palette. The shimmers are amazing. The colors really pop. It is so versatile. The hate was annoying to me. It was like they were picking at minor details and overlooking its greatness. I get that the transition shade may be a bit dark, for super white people. Here is an idea. Use another one of your hundred palettes or your twenty bronzers for the transition shade. Blend out the colors with your translucent powder if needed. Take your time and use a lighter hand. Don’t pile on the eyeshadow, pounds at a time, and wonder why it is patchy when you do pile it on your face. Rant over.

It's weird to me that some palettes don't have good shimmer shades, but have good mattes. In my mind, foiled shadows seem easier to produce/manufacture than decent blendable matte shades. It's like they had to choose one or the other to be good.

Loved every second of this! I’ve never heard of makeup maniacs before and colour me intrigued - your makeup collection is much more diverse than most BGs. Very excited for your single shadow collection!
I got the Alma palette as well and the PR palettes definitely seemed to be made with much more care than the pre-order palettes from December. Kim Kroft and I were messaging back and forth and our palettes had pans half full and the quality was really inconsistent which makes me sad because I love Amy! Lots of issues with their customer service as well.
My palette seemed to have inconsistencies. They don’t seem like a professional brand based on complaints I heard. I won’t buy from them again. However, I know it’s not Amy’s fault at all. I at least enjoy the color story of the palette and I can work with the shadows. Mine came better than other people’s who received crush eyeshadows, delays and whose emails were ignored. I’ll stick to Sydney Grace, Menagerie and Devinah for indies. A lot of other brands are too expensive for me, just overpriced low quality private labeled shadows or I don’t trust them.
@@celestecelestial90 I sent them 3 emails and never got a response because my package was in preshipment for 2 weeks. My last email I told them that their unprofessionalism was unacceptable and that it wasn't fair to Amy how this collab was being handled. I literally get mad when I look at that palette which is silly but it was over $40 so I expected a quality palette.
The way they did Amy was just a damn shame, I'm sorry. She didn't deserve that at all. The way my palette came looked a 3rd grade project and for almost 50 bucks? They were quick to respond to me though but I feel bad for the other customers. I still think the colors are beautiful and Amy really put love and creativity in the palette, I've also done some very pretty looks with it so, it'll be fine but never again with that brand.
@@Monicaizpeace I so agree that Amy deserves so much better and the concept was so beautiful but poorly executed after the initial launch. I was really on the fence about this palette too and I finally went for it and was so excited. And I have seen in comments on UA-cam and Instagram where Amy is apologizing and she shouldn't be the one speaking out - its the brand's responsibility to do that.
Beauty For Your Palate w/Noe I’m sorry you had such a negative experience. 😞 They could have done better in communicating any delays with customers, instead of ignoring them-whether intentional or not. They made Amy look bad because that’s her product, and I felt bad for her. Our palettes should’ve been as good quality as what was shown in the PR videos. Sometimes we have the best intentions when we create something or work somewhere, but our hands are tied by people who own or manage the business. I felt like that in my last HR job. 😕

I usually love besame and I totally agree, the Sleeping Beauty palette was too pricey and not as great as I wanted it to be. I think the fact that it’s all mattes still throws me off. There are so many shades that are super similar to each other and the packaging, while gorgeous, is bulky and makes it really difficult to open and lay flat. The face palette is awesome. I’d love to have you review their next collection whenever it comes out! Major heart eyes for your channel as always ❤️

One thing I really loved about this video compared to other full collection videos is a lot of the time people dont say anything about the palette(at least the ones I've seen). They just hold it up and are like "yep I've got this one", and I'm just sitting there wondering "Is it good? Do you like it??" Please do a full review of the Sleeping Beauty palette. Besame's formula can be a little hit or miss. Sometimes the lighter mattes can be kinda wimpy. I just depotted my Karity Mattes rainbow palette and I'm kind of amazed at how it holds its own formula-wise with everything else in my singles collection. Though I totally agree about the hit or miss quality of everything from the brand, I have the Karity Nudes and Rudes and it's one of my favorite basic bitch palettes.
It performs really poorly. Hailey from Beauty News was incredibly excited for it, purchased it and was unbelievably disappointed by it's performance. She had to blend her wrists into carpal tunnel to make it work and she still didn't love it. She has her own channel (Just Buy The Makeup) so you can take a look for yourself.
I'm obsessed with Hannah's palette. Nutty and a rant are my faves. Such an amazing palette
