- In this video I send the Autel Evo Lite+ directly over the side of the Snake River Canyon at Dedication Point for it's first flight. It was a cold winter day, but still a great day to fly the Lite+. The HDR video that this drone provides really pops. We got down low in the canyon and got a good look at the river below. Impressive video and flight, Marcus! Of course, the Canyon provided a beautiful backdrop for your flight with Autel Evo Lite+. The video you captured looked fabulous to me. I'm a DJI-guy and have never flown any other brand, but I have to tell you, I'm considering adding an Autel product to my small fleet since seeing this video. It looked so smooth and effortless to fly the Evo Lite+. Happy holidays and stay warm!

It has 3 speeds he should know that as well really? It has Smooth Standard and Ludicrous no idea why people make up stuff to put down the Autel drones it has 3 speeds not 2 I own the drone and it is incredible plenty fast and incredible battery life. I’m sure if they wanted to make it faster they could but that’s why it can stay in the air 35 min plus. Air 2 s is also about 300 grams lighter so of course it should be faster considering the price point.No way u are getting 46 min out of a mavic 3, not to mention it is twice the cost.
@@earnestgriffin4838 The only thing that happened in this thread was praise for the Lite+. Why so defensive? The fact is, the Lite+ is slow compared to other drones in it's class. That doesn't mean that it's not a great product. I really like the drone and am glad that I bought it.
@@IdahoQuadcopter Im not being defensive but I hate when people give inaccurate information. Besides the speed of the drone which isnt important and u say its class when its really in between the air 2s and mavic 3. You didnt address the fact it has 3 speeds not 2 which is inaccurate atleast correct your error in the comments. You agreed with inaccurate information which is all im saying and it may sway a person from any product if they value your thoughts and opinions.

Love the Autel Lite+ a solid effort from Autel. That there is no Smart Controller is a huge miss though. This is the ONLY drone I own that still needs a phone or tablet to fly. 🙄
I hear they have an all in one controller on the way!
Loved the HDR quality on this drone, and really enjoyed how low you got to the river 👍

Nice review of your first flight with the EVO Lite+. I think you may be a little spoiled with the Mavic 3 though, Marcus. If we were to compare apples-to-oranges, the DJI would have to be the apple because that Autel is definitely orange! 😂 I'm looking forward to more.

Hi Marcus.....Really nice video over the wall. Yeah....I think the Air 2S has a little more zip to it. But it was a good solid flight. I hope to fly there again someday. Just need to time the weather so it not to hot. How long is the battery life in your jacket ? ....LOL....Really bright......😆

Awesome video. I had been thinking of purchasing one for over a month, and then they were available for $999 from the Autel storefront on eBay. I grabbed it, thinking that I could sell it if I didn't like it. This is my first non-DJI drone. I've only been able to fly it twice, but it seems like it's a keeper.
I believe that it's the best drone that Autel has ever produced. I agree. It's a winner.

Great footage Marcus 👏. Love the low level flight up the Snake river . I just pulled the trigger on one of these upgrading from the FIMI X8 2022 . Do you think it more powerful than the Fimi
Thank you! It is not as powerful at the Fimi drone, however, everything else is miles ahead!
I’ve owned this quad since launch. It’s not a terribly fast or powerful drone for its size. Heavy winds will give it some fits. The camera makes up for it though. Most of the early gimbal issues have been resolved as well.
That's my only complaint. I wish it was a little more powerful. Yeah, the camera is amazing!
i def want this one marcus but i don't like the price tag that comes with it,i did pick up the evo nano standard and love it but im now starting to get disconnections from the transmitter when using the iphone x,i have to get it out with my android phone and see if it persists with that phone
Sorry to hear of your problems with the Nano. I use an iPhone 13, and then 14 Pro to fly my nano+ and disconnections were not a problem. I hope you get it sorted.
Excellent drone. I have a mavic mini 2 and use it for photos, i shoot panos and there good and was considering the mini 3 pro but looked at sample photos and the Evo lite plus photos are on a different level. Evo will be my next drone
It's a decent product. The camera alone is worth the price of admission.

It sounds like you got a great price on the drone. I briefly saw props in the shot at 18:57, but otherwise it looked like a good flight.
This drone is priced very aggressively. I'm sure Autel is selling a lot of them. 🙂

Autels drones have great cameras, the OA and tracking are of limited use.

All was good with that flight. I have to say though that my Evo2 v1 always lands within one inch or so of take off. Mine doesn't feel bulky and it's probably due to getting the expo dialed in as I like.

No, the OA on the Lite Plus just brings the drone to a stop.

Nice going! I like the negative altitude flights down through the canyon! That Autel flew so well that I would have thought it was a DJI. Now you need to get a coat to match your Mavic 3

Great first flight, the canyon looked awesome in the winter light, and Lite Plus captured it very well. I'm glad you had a trouble free flight with drone, the battery life was great and RTH worked very well. If only they could have made the drone a little faster, so it could flight more wind at places like the canyon. But overall a good buy at the current sale prices. Thanks for sharing Marcus.

Hi Marcus, great video showing the Autel Lite+. When Autel drones work as specified, they work well. My Autel EVO 2 gives me video as good as my Mavic 3. The more competition, the better both Autel and DJI consumer drones become. Also, the lower the cost.

Nice drone! Great carefree flight and fabulous color coordination between that jacket and the A.E. Lite+. Flying low was a hoot and definitely confirms that my next "Springtime" flight there will include a similar route. The HDR color rendition was excellent and don't feel bad about your Mr. Automatic settings. Super video, with no surprises, especially considering the chill factor. Thanks for sharing! 🤠

Very nice flight and great to finally see you testing a very capable drone. I wish it was not so expensive and I haven't seen them anywhere in Canada although I'm sure they're available somewhere. I've also got spoiled with the RC Pro Controller and have a hard time going back to my phone. Neat to see you drop. down into the Canyon and get some good flying.
