Power Ranger Mystic Force is actually great. It's one of my favorites seasons of Power Rangers. It possesses a compelling story full of twists and some great character development. Not just that, but it teaches the value of faith and hope to a great extent, not to mention how some villains are portraited in shades of grey instead of just being evil.

Super seasons were the result of a network mandate that limited the number of episodes per season. This increased the total episode count of each team (around 50 episodes vs the 40 previous season usually got), but caused there to be longer hiatus between seasons
@@ReactZoneZ yea, stupid mandates from Nickelodeon, and because of that; it caused us to be way off track with when Toei would make the next sentai season; matter of fact, that comes into play as after Super Megaforce, we didn't adapt Go-busters,the sentai that occured after SMF's source sentai, Gokaiger, and went right into adapting Kyroryuger for Dino Charge. Luckily we did go back and use Go-busters when ownership fell to Hasbro. And they COOKED that season in all the right spots; you'll see.
In Space was the last Power Rangers of the "Zordon Era" because it was intended to be the final Power Rangers series. But it ended up making Power Rangers so popular, that Saban decided to make more Power Rangers, starting with Lost Galaxy

Actually the most common order of eras is Saban (MMPR-Wild Force) Disney Era (Ninja Storm - RPM) Neo-Saban (Samurai to Dino Charge) and then hasbro but i think yeah the in space is kind of ending of a continualit, of a story, so i agree with it
@@donting24 For Samurai and Megaforce, that's fair though personally, I still really enjoy both. But Dino Charge and Ninja Steel had a lot more going on than just the series' catchphrase "Go go Power Rangers". Yes, it was in there but compared to Mighty Morphing, it was barely so.

And just to let you know the Cosmic Fury opening you watched is from Episode 1 before they get their new suits where Amelia becomes the Red Ranger (the first ever female red ranger to be the lead!) and Fern becomes the first ever Orange Ranger!
However he was correct later on. Ricardo Medina Jr. came back as Decker in Power Rangers Samurai and Power Rangers Super Samurai. Then in real life he stabbed his roommate to death with an actual Samurai sword.
1) Lost Galaxy kinda concludes the "Zordon Arc," you could say. The first 7 seasons are all one interconnected story. While the cast is mostly brand new, health issues forced the Pink Ranger to retire from her role, and she was replaced by the former villain from In Space, Astronema (Karone), who would undergo a redemption story. The main premise of this season was a colony of people from Earth wanted to migrate and live on a different planet, but they're attacked by evil alien insects along the way. 2) The other Red and Blue Rangers you saw in Ninja Storm are called the Crimson and Navy Rangers. Originally their own unit being manipulated into serving the main villain, they would later join the team after learning the truth and coming to their senses. 3) Operation Overdrive is about a band of hired mercenaries who are tasked with finding the missing jewels of a powerful ancient crown before they can fall into evil hands. Initially only focused on the job they were hired to do, they eventually learn what it truly means to be a hero. A lot of people like to insult this season, but don't let that sway you from checking it out and making your own opinion. Personally, I liked it. The Red Ranger's story has a really good plot twist. 4) RPM takes place on an alternate Earth in which machines have conquered the world, and humanity's only safe haven is inside a dome. It is, in my opinion, the best season of Power Rangers ever made, and I definitely recommend giving it a watch. It is dark, and delightfully so. It pushed the boundaries of what the Power Rangers series is capable of. The characters would later discover the means to travel to the main Power Rangers universe and assist other Ranger teams, most notably Samurai, Ninja Steel, and Beast Morphers. 5) Disney had originally purchased the franchise from Saban in 2001, and in 2010, following RPM, Saban bought it back from Disney and moved it to Nickelodeon. From then on, each series lasted 2 seasons, beginning with Samurai (except for Dino Fury, which had Cosmic Fury as its 3rd season), although Beast Morphers and Dino/Cosmic Fury were made by Hasbro, who bought the franchise from Saban in 2018. 6) Spike is Skull's son, being looked after by his "Uncle Bulk". At the end of Super Samurai, Skull comes to pick up his son. 7) Megaforce and Super Megaforce were intended to be the big 20th anniversary celebration of the franchise, but that series fell so hard on its face that the Executive Producer was fired. The following series, Dino Charge, would prove to be immensely better. 8) The nature of the Dino Charge powers keeps the chosen heroes from aging, so you'll see a few Rangers who come from different time periods, most notably a caveman and a knight. 9) Yeah, the villain faction of the Ninja Steel Rangers is an alien game show. The "secret Red Ranger" you saw came to be that way because at the end of Season 1 of Ninja Steel, the Red Ranger powers got split into 3, and Mick, an ally of the Rangers, received one of the pieces. He would later become the Red Ninja Steel Ranger once more in Cosmic Fury. 10) The reason the Silver Beast Morphers Ranger doesn't get featured in the opening credits is because he's not portrayed by a visible human actor; he's a robot throughout the series. 11) Fern isn't a Ranger during Dino Fury; she's mainly the Green Ranger's love interest during that time. But in Cosmic Fury, she becomes the Orange Ranger. And Billy does act as a mentor, almost even like a father figure to the Rangers. Cosmic Fury gave him the proper closure he needed that Zeo didn't give him.
After episode 6 or so, I had to force myself to watch Operation Overdrive (probably mostly due to burnout, since I had watched 14 seasons one after the other just before then). Then the twist you mentioned happened, and I was entirely invested until the end of the season
@@berserkerciaran I liked Overdrive all the way through. At the time, I had very limited access to the online Power Rangers community, so I had no idea people were talking bad about it. I like how that twist was foreshadowed and how it affected the Red Ranger as a character.
and the sentai it's based on had a team of 10, but 3 of them passed the baton to someone else, plus an evil one from a movie bringing the total count to 14 which is also sick haha
Correct, Noam Kaniel did both the newer theme style and music for the series as a whole. I saw that name in the credits, and my jaw dropped at the revelation… lol. Love his work, and love Power Rangers/Code Lyoko.

RPM is so fire like i’m not really even a power rangers fan (in the sense that I haven’t watched a lot) but it’s genuinely super fun, engaging, and has a great storyline and characters
29:20 Actually yeah, in that universe Galaxy Warriors us the most popular show in the universe. It used to be about criminals fighting each other, but after episode 1 the rules changed so that all criminals go and destroy the rangers and steal their ninja stars
Time Force is my favorite from what I can remember. The team composition and relationship between the Rangers are much different too if I recall correctly. I think it also had a more mature vibe as well aimed at preteens instead of children.
The acting from time force I believe was to attract older fans of power rangers the entire season just felt more mature than the other seasons and I liked it especially the Wes Jen Alex love triangle the four core members going back to the year 2001 from 3000 to capture ransik then run into Alex’s ancestor Wes was such a great twist especially in the first episode after what happens to Alex in the beginning
Yeah, the Nick era (minus Dino Charge) is often regarded as the worst era of Power Rangers. Funny you mentioned 2009 because that gave us RPM, which I consider is the best season of the franchise
@@JesG. Also having the focus on the Black Ranger for big part of the story is quite the approach. I feel it does fall a little bit in the second half, reusing some plot points from previous seasons, but it's an overall pretty cool story, considering the stuff they had to work with.

The titular "Lost Galaxy" comes into play later. 12:09 Ninja Storm is the first Power Rangers series to be filmed in New Zealand instead of the United States, where the franchise continued to be filmed until Cosmic Fury. 20:46 Starting with the Saban Era, they did Power Rangers in multiple season, with the second season having "Super" added to the title. This stopped with the Hasbro Era with Beast Morphers, though they kept the two seasons bit. 21:50 They actually started using CGI for the zords in Wild Force. 23:35 Megaforce is actulaly based on two Super Sentai series, Tensou Sentai Goseiger & Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. The first season is mostly Goseiger (which had an angle theme), while Super Megaforce is Gokaiger (evident in the pirate aesthetic, and is also Super Sentai's 35th anniversary series). How well Megaforce handheld the anniversary stuff is up to debate. 33:31 Cosmic Fury is currently the shortest series at only 10 episodes.
@@ReactZoneZ Lost Galaxy was based on Seijū Sentai Gingaman which takes place entirely on Earth with our heroes being commanders of elemental forces originating from a forest village, (hence why Maya was living in a forest with the Sabers,) their enemies are the notorious Space Pirates known as Barban/Balban who’ve been stuck on Earth for many years, basically all the villain generals transferred over to Power Rangers with some being transferred to the original villain faction created for Power Rangers, since they looked like insectoids, the first of whom being Sambash the hot-headed Biker Weapons Guy who became Villamax a comparatively patient martial arts instructor and generally honourable guy, (ironically Villamax is the last of the generals to be taken out, when he refuses to be complicit in turning their people into suicide bombers,) then we have the masterless samurai Budoh who becomes Treachron (these two are the most similar, though Budoh is definitely more honourable,) the other generals include Bucrates whose counterpart Kegler is tied to Villamax, Battobas who becomes Barbarax, and Iliess who becomes Hexuba work for Captain Mutiny, Trakeena and her father also get Dark Merchant Biznella or rather his PR counterpart Deviot, (his Sentai counterpart’s name is meant to be a pun in the original Japanese concerning the word "business" ビズネス Bizunesu.) Notably, the villain Impostra who frames Treachron by appearing in his form to the last of his warlords and then ordering the usage of The Lights to frame him was the daughter of Hexuba’s counterpart, and Medoumedou/Impostra was working on the orders of her great uncle Bucrates and her mother, and in-fact despite disappearing in Lost Galaxy, she didn’t get away with it in Gingaman because Budoh strikes her down, her sister MerudaMeruda renamed Maronda in LG, a Lamia-themed villain is instead paired with Deviot. You’ll enjoy Gingaman if you enjoyed the space and space-fantasy elements of Lost Galaxy.
Mystic Force was the one I grew up with before Samurai, and the Mystic Force theme song is great! It's so unique and almost sounds like an Outkast song😂
There are three different generations of ranger power in Ninja Storm. The original three are from the Wind Ninja Academy. The second red and blue rangers you referred to are actually "maroon" and "navy" and are Thunder Rangers. The green ranger is a Samurai ranger. Their morphs reflect this in the show; the original three morph in a hurricane, the Thunder Rangers morph using the power of lightning, and the green ranger morphs in a Dojo.
Mystic Force is the best! It was the first one I saw, and it's still my favorite because the theme song is amazing and the designs and everything are so unique!
Fun fact: in Time Force the Sixth Ranger is more like an Anti-hero ranger who prefers to work alone but occasional helping out the team during big fights. He even had a cool rivalry with the Red ranger it doesn't help that both are red rangers on the same team lol
R.P.M. is worth the watch. It is the darkest tone series out of all of them. It is set in post apocalyptic world. Time Force - Blue, Green, Pink, and Yellow rangers are from the future. They needed to go back in time to find the Red ranger so they unlock their morphers. Trip was an alien. Ninja Storm - The original three (Red, Blue, Yellow) were from a Wind Ninja Academy, the Crimson and Navy rangers were from the Lighting Ranger Academy, and Green one is a samurai.
RPM is my personal favourite Music is good Story is good Action is good And, imo, Venjix is one of the best power rangers villains Time force and dino thunder are also superb

7:53: The general premise of Lost Galaxy is that hundreds of thousands of humans are boarding a space colony called Terra Venture in search of a new homework. And they aren't planning to ever come back to Earth. However, early in the journey they get involved with the main villain and Power Rangers shenanigans happen.
I just find it funny that cannonically in PR universe all throughout Disney era humanity is space colonizing civilization, but you literally don't see it at all.

I can’t believe that there was 2 times in the history of the series that were originally supposed to be the end of power rangers that weren’t cosmic fury. The 2 were Space and RPM.
You should do In space, time force, lost galaxy and wild force for the post-zordon era but for the Disney era Dino thunder, ninja storm, SPD, jungle fury, and RpM but these are only suggestions
Fun fact I learned from Vernon Wells at a comic con was why Time Force probably had the best acting was because it was studio's last year doing Power Rangers before Disney took over so the studio let them use all the budget they had which was way more than normal and it allowed them to hire acting veterans Vernon Wells and the late Edward Laurence Albert. Those two really elevated the show. Then you had Dan Southworth, Erin Cahill, and Jason Faunt that had some really good moments too. My stepfather actually thought I was watching an adult show till the fighting started 🤣
13:16 Personally, I loved it. Its villains were a bit more comedic than previous villains (think more Rita than Lord Zed) but personally, that added a bit more charm to them. Not to spoil too much but the main three are basically "bottom of the barrel fighting their way to the top"-kinda characters. Though the rest of the cast was interesting to follow, too.
In Megaforce there was basically a war and ALL the old rangers (and actors) came back to help fight thats why you see a bunch of them running, Tommy is there too

Basically in Dino Fury/Cosmic Fury they explain how every ranger team is linked throughout the series and how the guys who are called "Morphin Masters" manipulated certain events and how they created the sources of peoples rangers powers and how they either left hints or showed certain people how to tap into the morphining grid. I say go watch Dino Fury cos it has alot of old call backs to the older series.
9:38 From what i remember(from the VHS),most of the Time Force Rangers were from the same future(at least 1000 years)while the Red and Quantum Red Ranger(The extra ranger like Green was in MM) are from the present year(2001).
as the series progressed, they came up with the idea of "The Morphing Grid" which is where all the ranger's powers come from. this allowed them to have the rangers be in different realities and all could access the same power grid.
Great reaction video. It was nice seeing a fan of the original MMPR to Space, react to all the seasons after that. I kept up with the series up till RPM. Then tuned back in for Dino Charge. My favorite seasons were Dino Thunder, SPD, Ninja Storm, and RPM. Favorite theme song was Dino Thunder and SPD.
The reason why newer rangers have such short openings is because they all aired in Netflix and when people binge watch you can just hit the skip button to the openings so no point in wasting time and money to make long openings.
In Lightspeed Rescue, the Power Rangers are actually run by the government and are selected from amongst civilians each with their own specialty. Red Ranger is a Fire fighter, Blue is a lifeguard/marine animal trainer, yellow is rock climber, and green is a stunt pilot. Pink is Captain Mitchel's daughter and a nurse. Their base is under water cuz the enemies from this season are demons who for... whatever reason, cant go under water... *shrug* Time Force are essentially time cops who end up having to chase the mutant bad guys back to the past to capture them. Pink, Yellow, Blue, and Green are all from the future whereas Red is from the past where the rangers end up.
Lightspeed Rescue became my favorite season when I went back to watch all the old seasons when Dino Charge was announced. I've met all the Rangers but the Pink Ranger at the last few Power Morphicon events. Even got to man Captain Mitchell's table for a bit in 2022 while we went to visit Vypra's table. What was super cool was that each Ranger had a job before they were brought into the Ranger team. The Red Ranger was a firefighter, Blue was an orca trainer at SeaWorld or something, Green was known as the Sky Cowboy as he was a stunt pilot, Yellow was an avid rock climber and Pink was an EMT who worked at the Lightspeed Aquabase before her father, Captain Mitchell, recruited her. The Titanium Ranger was kidnapped by the bad guys early in life and started off as a bad guy.
Idk about the ones before but I started watching from Mystic Force till Super Samurai and they all have great stories. All unique based on their themes. They really go in with the personality of the people and growing stronger as people. There's some twists and turns that I think you'll love in Ninja Steel too.
You gotta start watching Dino Charge and Jungle Fury. Especially Dino Charge. Dino Charge probably had the most fight scenes that wasn’t old footage. Also my favorite MMPR was Rocky.
In 2025 Hasbro and Playmates are planning on doing stuff globally with the product while they are also in the process of selling all the costumes & props from the series. Also it was the Red Wild Force ranger who killed his room mate with a Katana, while recently the Green Samurai ranger was shown pushing down an old man while getting into a argument over a parking spot.
@@ReactZoneZ Yeah some just have some issues they need to work on. Same guy (Wild Force Red) was also in Samurai as one of the villains. My dropping off point initially was Lightspeed rescue (found it to be dull) then jumped back on from Wild force till RPM, which about that time I started watching the Sentai originals and haven't seen anything from PR after Samurai which after watching both versions were nearly identical with the exception of the Bulk & Spike (Skulls Nephew) bits of the show.
Fun fact: From (technically) Timeforce to (technically) Dino Thunder, the villains were all in some way human. Ransik is a mutant human from the future, Master Org is a human turned org, Lothor was a ninja who was banished into space and became the leader of space ninjas, and Mezogog is dinosaur Jekyll and Hyde. The two main villains of Operation Overdrive were also said to be human, but its really hard to tell if they were actually from earth with how poorly structured lore was in that series.

RPM: Earth is taken over by an evil computer virus who's warring with power rangers over humanity's final stronghold. Samurai: An ancient lineage of samurai use ranger powers to protect the Earth from interdimensional monsters. Megaforce: Teens with attitude harness the powers of the rangers who came before them to fight a three-way war between aliens, robots, and humans for the fate of the Earth. Dino Charge: An alien bounty hunter tries to steal gems that can grant power and immortality, gems that are each bonded to a power ranger. Ninja Steel: Ninjas are granted power to stop a Warlord from stealing powerful ranger artifacts and a powerful metal to create his own. Beast Morphers: A sentient computer virus is trying to steal pure Morphin' Grid energy, but is thwarted by a team of technologically advanced rangers. Dino Fury: One alien knight wants to steal monstrous energy sources while another forms a team of knights to protect them. Cosmic Fury: The Dino Fury team gains new powers to face off against the newly resurrected Lord Zedd.
Actually MMPR S2 was based on Super Sentai called Dairanger (Thunderzords) and MMPR S3 based on Kakuranger (Ninjazords). PR only adapted the white tiger ranger suit, his zords, and the dairanger zords.

@@ReactZoneZ yea, stupid mandates from Nickelodeon, and because of that; it caused us to be way off track with when Toei would make the next sentai season; matter of fact, that comes into play as after Super Megaforce, we didn't adapt Go-busters,the sentai that occured after SMF's source sentai, Gokaiger, and went right into adapting Kyroryuger for Dino Charge.
Luckily we did go back and use Go-busters when ownership fell to Hasbro. And they COOKED that season in all the right spots; you'll see.

But Dino Charge and Ninja Steel had a lot more going on than just the series' catchphrase "Go go Power Rangers". Yes, it was in there but compared to Mighty Morphing, it was barely so.

1) Lost Galaxy kinda concludes the "Zordon Arc," you could say. The first 7 seasons are all one interconnected story. While the cast is mostly brand new, health issues forced the Pink Ranger to retire from her role, and she was replaced by the former villain from In Space, Astronema (Karone), who would undergo a redemption story. The main premise of this season was a colony of people from Earth wanted to migrate and live on a different planet, but they're attacked by evil alien insects along the way.
2) The other Red and Blue Rangers you saw in Ninja Storm are called the Crimson and Navy Rangers. Originally their own unit being manipulated into serving the main villain, they would later join the team after learning the truth and coming to their senses.
3) Operation Overdrive is about a band of hired mercenaries who are tasked with finding the missing jewels of a powerful ancient crown before they can fall into evil hands. Initially only focused on the job they were hired to do, they eventually learn what it truly means to be a hero. A lot of people like to insult this season, but don't let that sway you from checking it out and making your own opinion. Personally, I liked it. The Red Ranger's story has a really good plot twist.
4) RPM takes place on an alternate Earth in which machines have conquered the world, and humanity's only safe haven is inside a dome. It is, in my opinion, the best season of Power Rangers ever made, and I definitely recommend giving it a watch. It is dark, and delightfully so. It pushed the boundaries of what the Power Rangers series is capable of.
The characters would later discover the means to travel to the main Power Rangers universe and assist other Ranger teams, most notably Samurai, Ninja Steel, and Beast Morphers.
5) Disney had originally purchased the franchise from Saban in 2001, and in 2010, following RPM, Saban bought it back from Disney and moved it to Nickelodeon. From then on, each series lasted 2 seasons, beginning with Samurai (except for Dino Fury, which had Cosmic Fury as its 3rd season), although Beast Morphers and Dino/Cosmic Fury were made by Hasbro, who bought the franchise from Saban in 2018.
6) Spike is Skull's son, being looked after by his "Uncle Bulk". At the end of Super Samurai, Skull comes to pick up his son.
7) Megaforce and Super Megaforce were intended to be the big 20th anniversary celebration of the franchise, but that series fell so hard on its face that the Executive Producer was fired. The following series, Dino Charge, would prove to be immensely better.
8) The nature of the Dino Charge powers keeps the chosen heroes from aging, so you'll see a few Rangers who come from different time periods, most notably a caveman and a knight.
9) Yeah, the villain faction of the Ninja Steel Rangers is an alien game show. The "secret Red Ranger" you saw came to be that way because at the end of Season 1 of Ninja Steel, the Red Ranger powers got split into 3, and Mick, an ally of the Rangers, received one of the pieces. He would later become the Red Ninja Steel Ranger once more in Cosmic Fury.
10) The reason the Silver Beast Morphers Ranger doesn't get featured in the opening credits is because he's not portrayed by a visible human actor; he's a robot throughout the series.
11) Fern isn't a Ranger during Dino Fury; she's mainly the Green Ranger's love interest during that time. But in Cosmic Fury, she becomes the Orange Ranger. And Billy does act as a mentor, almost even like a father figure to the Rangers. Cosmic Fury gave him the proper closure he needed that Zeo didn't give him.
After episode 6 or so, I had to force myself to watch Operation Overdrive (probably mostly due to burnout, since I had watched 14 seasons one after the other just before then). Then the twist you mentioned happened, and I was entirely invested until the end of the season

I like how that twist was foreshadowed and how it affected the Red Ranger as a character.

Time Force is my favorite from what I can remember. The team composition and relationship between the Rangers are much different too if I recall correctly. I think it also had a more mature vibe as well aimed at preteens instead of children.
The acting from time force I believe was to attract older fans of power rangers the entire season just felt more mature than the other seasons and I liked it especially the Wes Jen Alex love triangle the four core members going back to the year 2001 from 3000 to capture ransik then run into Alex’s ancestor Wes was such a great twist especially in the first episode after what happens to Alex in the beginning

@@ReactZoneZ Lost Galaxy was based on Seijū Sentai Gingaman which takes place entirely on Earth with our heroes being commanders of elemental forces originating from a forest village, (hence why Maya was living in a forest with the Sabers,) their enemies are the notorious Space Pirates known as Barban/Balban who’ve been stuck on Earth for many years, basically all the villain generals transferred over to Power Rangers with some being transferred to the original villain faction created for Power Rangers, since they looked like insectoids, the first of whom being Sambash the hot-headed Biker Weapons Guy who became Villamax a comparatively patient martial arts instructor and generally honourable guy, (ironically Villamax is the last of the generals to be taken out, when he refuses to be complicit in turning their people into suicide bombers,) then we have the masterless samurai Budoh who becomes Treachron (these two are the most similar, though Budoh is definitely more honourable,) the other generals include Bucrates whose counterpart Kegler is tied to Villamax, Battobas who becomes Barbarax, and Iliess who becomes Hexuba work for Captain Mutiny, Trakeena and her father also get Dark Merchant Biznella or rather his PR counterpart Deviot, (his Sentai counterpart’s name is meant to be a pun in the original Japanese concerning the word "business" ビズネス Bizunesu.) Notably, the villain Impostra who frames Treachron by appearing in his form to the last of his warlords and then ordering the usage of The Lights to frame him was the daughter of Hexuba’s counterpart, and Medoumedou/Impostra was working on the orders of her great uncle Bucrates and her mother, and in-fact despite disappearing in Lost Galaxy, she didn’t get away with it in Gingaman because Budoh strikes her down, her sister MerudaMeruda renamed Maronda in LG, a Lamia-themed villain is instead paired with Deviot.
You’ll enjoy Gingaman if you enjoyed the space and space-fantasy elements of Lost Galaxy.

There are three different generations of ranger power in Ninja Storm. The original three are from the Wind Ninja Academy. The second red and blue rangers you referred to are actually "maroon" and "navy" and are Thunder Rangers. The green ranger is a Samurai ranger. Their morphs reflect this in the show; the original three morph in a hurricane, the Thunder Rangers morph using the power of lightning, and the green ranger morphs in a Dojo.

And they aren't planning to ever come back to Earth. However, early in the journey they get involved with the main villain and Power Rangers shenanigans happen.
I just find it funny that cannonically in PR universe all throughout Disney era humanity is space colonizing civilization, but you literally don't see it at all.

I can’t believe that there was 2 times in the history of the series that were originally supposed to be the end of power rangers that weren’t cosmic fury. The 2 were Space and RPM.
You should do In space, time force, lost galaxy and wild force for the post-zordon era but for the Disney era Dino thunder, ninja storm, SPD, jungle fury, and RpM but these are only suggestions

Fun fact I learned from Vernon Wells at a comic con was why Time Force probably had the best acting was because it was studio's last year doing Power Rangers before Disney took over so the studio let them use all the budget they had which was way more than normal and it allowed them to hire acting veterans Vernon Wells and the late Edward Laurence Albert. Those two really elevated the show. Then you had Dan Southworth, Erin Cahill, and Jason Faunt that had some really good moments too. My stepfather actually thought I was watching an adult show till the fighting started 🤣

Its villains were a bit more comedic than previous villains (think more Rita than Lord Zed) but personally, that added a bit more charm to them.
Not to spoil too much but the main three are basically "bottom of the barrel fighting their way to the top"-kinda characters.
Though the rest of the cast was interesting to follow, too.

Basically in Dino Fury/Cosmic Fury they explain how every ranger team is linked throughout the series and how the guys who are called "Morphin Masters" manipulated certain events and how they created the sources of peoples rangers powers and how they either left hints or showed certain people how to tap into the morphining grid. I say go watch Dino Fury cos it has alot of old call backs to the older series.

as the series progressed, they came up with the idea of "The Morphing Grid" which is where all the ranger's powers come from. this allowed them to have the rangers be in different realities and all could access the same power grid.

My favorite seasons were Dino Thunder, SPD, Ninja Storm, and RPM. Favorite theme song was Dino Thunder and SPD.

The reason why newer rangers have such short openings is because they all aired in Netflix and when people binge watch you can just hit the skip button to the openings so no point in wasting time and money to make long openings.

In Lightspeed Rescue, the Power Rangers are actually run by the government and are selected from amongst civilians each with their own specialty. Red Ranger is a Fire fighter, Blue is a lifeguard/marine animal trainer, yellow is rock climber, and green is a stunt pilot. Pink is Captain Mitchel's daughter and a nurse. Their base is under water cuz the enemies from this season are demons who for... whatever reason, cant go under water... *shrug* Time Force are essentially time cops who end up having to chase the mutant bad guys back to the past to capture them. Pink, Yellow, Blue, and Green are all from the future whereas Red is from the past where the rangers end up.

Ninja storm was unique and have better storylines and character development, I recommend ninja storm to you❤❤❤ one of the best maybe in top 10.

Lightspeed Rescue became my favorite season when I went back to watch all the old seasons when Dino Charge was announced. I've met all the Rangers but the Pink Ranger at the last few Power Morphicon events. Even got to man Captain Mitchell's table for a bit in 2022 while we went to visit Vypra's table. What was super cool was that each Ranger had a job before they were brought into the Ranger team. The Red Ranger was a firefighter, Blue was an orca trainer at SeaWorld or something, Green was known as the Sky Cowboy as he was a stunt pilot, Yellow was an avid rock climber and Pink was an EMT who worked at the Lightspeed Aquabase before her father, Captain Mitchell, recruited her. The Titanium Ranger was kidnapped by the bad guys early in life and started off as a bad guy.
Dino Thunder, Jungle Fury, (Super) Samurai, (Super) Mega Force, Dino (Super) Charge, and (Super) Ninja Steel and my favorites.
I'm curious how JF differs from Gekirangers. I'll find out when I get there. ;)
Idk about the ones before but I started watching from Mystic Force till Super Samurai and they all have great stories. All unique based on their themes. They really go in with the personality of the people and growing stronger as people. There's some twists and turns that I think you'll love in Ninja Steel too.
You gotta start watching Dino Charge and Jungle Fury. Especially Dino Charge. Dino Charge probably had the most fight scenes that wasn’t old footage. Also my favorite MMPR was Rocky.
In 2025 Hasbro and Playmates are planning on doing stuff globally with the product while they are also in the process of selling all the costumes & props from the series. Also it was the Red Wild Force ranger who killed his room mate with a Katana, while recently the Green Samurai ranger was shown pushing down an old man while getting into a argument over a parking spot.
Man, these rangers are getting up to no good, huh? XD
@@ReactZoneZ Yeah some just have some issues they need to work on. Same guy (Wild Force Red) was also in Samurai as one of the villains. My dropping off point initially was Lightspeed rescue (found it to be dull) then jumped back on from Wild force till RPM, which about that time I started watching the Sentai originals and haven't seen anything from PR after Samurai which after watching both versions were nearly identical with the exception of the Bulk & Spike (Skulls Nephew) bits of the show.

Fun fact: From (technically) Timeforce to (technically) Dino Thunder, the villains were all in some way human. Ransik is a mutant human from the future, Master Org is a human turned org, Lothor was a ninja who was banished into space and became the leader of space ninjas, and Mezogog is dinosaur Jekyll and Hyde. The two main villains of Operation Overdrive were also said to be human, but its really hard to tell if they were actually from earth with how poorly structured lore was in that series.

Actually MMPR S2 was based on Super Sentai called Dairanger (Thunderzords) and MMPR S3 based on Kakuranger (Ninjazords). PR only adapted the white tiger ranger suit, his zords, and the dairanger zords.
