Yay the crepes are back! Thank you Eduardo Fagundo, manager and director of the hotel! We are regulars to this resort and things were really bad in 2021 after covid. He is always trying his best to keep the standards up and works past the extreme challenges set by the embargo and the current economic crisis. And in 2017 we got married in that little gazebo! Followed by a beautiful photo shoot in Havana!
Hello, for your information our room was located on the far right as you exit the lobby. We crossed a small bridge, and followed a path through the other rooms of the complex. We were still a fairly good 5-minute walk from the lobby. But when we're on vacation, time doesn't matter. We were in block number 2, and passing through block number 1, communicating with ours, had only the staircase to descend to arrive at a beautiful, extremely quiet little swimming pool. We were told last year that we were in the section where the rooms had been renovated. That is, blocks 1 to 5, and that there should also be other blocks awaiting renovation. I don't know if you knew...Formerly operated by Sandals Resorts as Sandals Royal Hicacos , it was purchased by Canadian company Sunwing and began operating under the Royalton brand in December 2014.
