+pietrangelo Giordano Thank you for your interest in our video. However, it is not true that one should place the traps outside of the crop for good results. If you like you can google on the subject and find more information on mass-trapping of Tuta absoluta; this should be done primarily inside the crop. Or if you like you can go to our website and contact us for some papers on the subject. Regards, Kenya Biologics.
Dear Sir, thank you for your answer. I'm an agronomist and work in Sardinia for the Agriculture Agency. My experience is opposite to yours. When I put the trap in the field I had more problems. Same situation I saw in greenhouses. For that reason we use to install three traps/ha on the edge of the field. However, maybe we have different conditions. I'm very interested in this subject and I will read your papers for sure. Thank you very much. Regards, Pietro
Thank you for your interest and comment. Obviously the more traps you place the more moths you will catch. However the most moths will be inside the borders of your field, that is also where they naturally mate, and that is also where the most traps should be. Moths do not like to be lured outside of their comfort zone, which is inside the crop. They naturally lure each other and mate inside the crop; again traps should be placed inside the crop where they are most effective. Kind regards, Kenya Biologics.

Hello, what do you guys mean "inside the crop"?
I Suggest You Put Traps Inside AND Outside
