Religion vs Relationship

Are we truly serving God? Only the Word of God has the power to save your soul. The Word says that we must not only be hearers of the Word, but also doers. If any among you seem to be religious but does not control his tongue, he deceives himself, and his religion is vain, or worthless.
True religion is to love God,
Love others, obey God and keep ourselves pure and unspotted from sin.
Religion is nothing more than a brand or label. It is an obligation to serve God out of fear, to follow a set of rules. When we have a relationship with our loving Father, we serve him out of love. We can’t earn our way to heaven with religious acts. Don’t strive to be religious. Seek a relationship with Jesus Christ.
