When using an image with text on the image, every other side of the cube is mirrored. When using a plain image it's not noticeable. How or CAN this be fixed? Thanks! (love your work)

This is a fabulous tutorial Maliek, it just goes to show if you put your mind to it (and with the help of the PD Professor) the bridge between the Adobe offerings (Premiere Pro & After Effects) and the Cyberlink products are getting smaller and smaller with each new version. I have both but cannot remember the last time I even opened any of the Adobe products, with the exception maybe of Acrobat Pro. This now opens up a whole new world of possibilities.
@@PDU_Tutorials frustration. Any idea why I’m getting ghosting? The block spins and the logo is fine, but I’m left with a ghost image once the rotation starts and it ends up just looking like a horrible blood 😬
@@AndrewWaltersuk sorry, no idea why that’s happening. You can share your project and file on the PowerDirector forum and maybe someone will try Yo recreate the issue and help you solve it.
Love it. Super cool and you're a pleasure to follow. Question. I tried it out and the cube is not clear. The spin lags. Not too techie here but my computer is updated so I don't think it's that. But Cyberlink animation looks fuzzy when I hover over it so maybe it's cyberlink itself.
An excellent tip. It's worth noting that the image you use must NOT feature a transparent background or the top edge of the cube wont show. It's also worth knowing that the rotating image will be reversed on some faces so having something containing text will look a bit odd.
The image I used was a transparent .PNG image so not sure why your use of .PNG images removes the top of the cube. Good point about the image being reversed.
Hi Maliek, I love this. I was thinking of using it as a moving water mark in a video so the fade-in would be a problem, then I hit on the idea of cropping out the fade-in and lining up the rotation of the faces start to finish and repeat. I'm going to work on that this week.
Maliek Interested in those wingdings. I noticed used an end to produce the cube. What letters would you have to use to make other wingdings 3D Extruded. Like that bomb or whatever it is in the fuse. Thanks. Keith
Hi, learned a lot from your videos thank you. Are we able to alter each face of the cube individually and also make it a rectangle? Looking to make our company Logo 3D & spin for email footers. If that’s possible on powerdirector? Any advise would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Question? (Great tutorial by the way) . . . I have an oval, oblong logo. You used a square for your tutorial example. How in the world do I make space for an oval logo? I've tried a number of things, but they don't seem to work. Any thoughts, please?
Thanks. I’m not aware of a way to make space for an oval. You can try using the sphere tutorial I made years ago. ua-cam.com/video/ZaxcAUT48sA/v-deo.html

@@PDU_Tutorials I figured as much but thought I would ask. Thanks! I've been playing with this thing for over an hour... let's say I wanted to make it a watermark for a video that is 10 mins long - how do I get it to last that long without it slowing to an almost imperceptible crawl? Argh!
@@PDU_Tutorials Well I thought of that... but every one I copy starts transparent and 'fades' in, so it is like a yo-yo effect. Do I fix that by not using the 'In Animation' settings covered in the video?
