A suggestion/idea I have would be to explore the segment of old US 15 north of Mansfield heading toward Tioga Lake at the Lambs Creek recreation area. After the Tioga-Hammond dams were built and the lakes formed, part of the road was submerged underwater. It would then reappear in Tioga borough on what is now route 287.
@@577buttfan could show you these. Plus a mine i showed you last month. Dec. 19 is meetup in Centralia. 11:00. Bring family....last chance to see Centralia!!
I’d be interested in some of the abandoned Lehigh valley, Reading railroad beds in your area (locations). Also some videos on train stations in the coal region would be awesome. I live near Danville and always enjoy anything on the coal region.
@ 10;57 IN THE VIDEO..just to the left of the shot is a rock wall..on top of that is a concrete landing and a set of steps on both sides of it..i never stopped to check it out..and the stretch of 901 just past patterson block on your way to locust gap is another big stripping whole were many ppl go swimming.... pretty cool up there
Oh, I stopped at P.B. and they have the original winch on display and up back is tbe shaft...didnt see this yet, but you can look down. Plus 901 towards Lavell, on top of the hill on Steins rd was another small mine. Sooooo many mi nes, so little time! Thanks for your tips and support. P.S. .... @@coalcrackerchris i forgot about they have the winch...i probably wont make centralia..i cant walk to well anymore..i forgot to tell you...you should have that guy take you up the other end of girardville up the rappahanock and check out all the old foundations up there and look for the old town called Calarado ...with a long a cal- la ray-do and the road that was the back way into lost creek

Got an odd question. Is there anything else stone/crystal wise around there? I’ve heard that there’s some Uranium in some areas. I’m a rock, relic, bottle dump, and old town person.
at the 36 minute mark, this shaft is similar to the one you'll find in Frackville that I have not seen in any of your videos of that area. your very close to it in some of your videos but you seem to miss it??

I enjoyed this hike with commentary 😊
Glad you enjoyed

I’ve been up in that area and was excited with the coal on the ground. I got to come back and look for ruins. Love them.

This is one i did in frackvillev 1 yr ago
You said in the beginning you weren't going to tell the location, but you did.
Only cause you cant get in it. Any mines i go in wont be revield.
No helmet, no detectors , no inreach , and you cany release gas in water or mud !!!!! And if you do very little
You guys wasted a lot of time walking around in the woods and if you wanted too keep it a secret should not of told what creek it was near
We thought we could get in..but both were sealed...if it was accessable, i would have edited out the landmarks and clues
@@coalcrackerchris I was talking to a friend of mine about the centralia coal mine fire and he said the way that’s it’s burning is towards Ashland make sure if you go in any of the mines to take the proper equipment and safety steps
@@drlv71240 i have a safty lamp and i dont go in mines alone. Most of the time is spent locating these places.
Before Europeans these waters ran clear, the Indians nursed the land, the white man destroyed it for coal😎😎😎
Unfortunatly, that is very true!
Why do you call this exploring mines? You don't go into any of them, just 43+ minutes of walking through the woods. Stop wasting time,
Some mines cant be entered safely. I dont know this till i find the mine entrance. If you dont like my channel, dont watch. Whats on your channel? You like watching people die?
When i find a safe mine i go in it. If im unsure, i stay out .
If you know any SAFE mines come and explore them with me. I have to get an air meter first, and you can lead the way!
