as an improvement, try to teleport people to a base with nets under a carpet and protect the chunk so when u hit them they cant teleport away or pvp u cus they are trapped
if u have fast reaction time u can tp away while falling and before person comes but its difficult but spikes make it easier now too so they cant tp away
The trap is nice and all, but what are the chances the player would actually get inside the trap? Id personally rate the trap a 8/10, solely because in a normal situation, nobody is going to fall for that.

I know one way to escape：just use one instant healing potion and after you healed to 50hp or more then leave the game
After waiting a few more minutes you will teleport to the top when you join the game
