Beautiful! How come my aluminum foil never picks up the paint? It can’t make the pattern. Is it too tight? Too loose?

I have the same problem, can’t get any paint to transfer off the aluminum foil to my picture, wonder if it matters if you use the shiny or the dull side- sure would like some tips on getting the foil to work or using something else- wonder if a small sponge would work

I love your paintings, but I'm not crazy about the foil technique. I prefer a sponge instead. It works just as good, if not better..but thank you for your paintings tutorials.
