It really is a mind game- you gotta remind yourself that you have to be loose. And think of it as if you’re holding a baby bird in your hand so you don’t tense up the stick. Hold the Stick if you were holding a baby bird. And make sure to keep breathing during warmups. Don’t shrug your shoulders up and tense up more. Because people tend to do that a lot. Just keep breathing and hold that “baby bird”
