I would be very surprised if hiding limbs already covered by clothing does much for Daz rendering time or memory usage. It would point to a serious flaw in Daz in my opinion. And you're hammering on that your time is so valuable, but hiding and later un-hiding all these bones of all these characters takes a tremendous amount of time so I'm not sure it pays off at all... And In my much older Daz version with Genesis 3 characters interactive update was already set to "Off". But, that is a very nice tip to know nonetheless. Thanks!
I thought hiding geometry in DAZ doesn't save memory. Only actually removing the item frorm the scene does that. That's what I was told since version 1 of DS. Has something changed, or was I mistaken all along?
