Thanks man, would like to ask what does the weight of the adjusted statistics mean? does it mean how much you trust the game will go as the adjusted stats imply? As in, "I do think the defense will be able to contain the rival offense, so, as the adjusted rating supports this hypothesis (with a low value) I give this number a higher weight than the unadjusted rating".
I have an NHL model but it projects negative goals and unrealistically high goal totals. Do you know how to fix this/keep a specific range for the goal simulations?
You can set minimum and maximum parameters. This should work if you wanted your results to be between 0 and 6, for example: =MAX(MIN(NORM.INV(RAND(),mean,standard_deviation),6),0)
I see the R studio icon down there. You should show some of you R work on here.
Hey! Awesome vid man. I guess my question would be what goes into deciding the amount for adjusted weight in results tab?

how can you manage homefield advantage? thanks
If we have it set up in a home and away set up, what is different?
Im curious in how would you this with college hoops, there the adjustment is the most important factor
I recently built this model. Normal lines seem realistic but totals are all over the shop? Anyone else have this issue?
does this work in google sheets as well?

did anyone build this and obtain negative numbers?
