@@amalgamaudioLV Thanks for sharing your INCREDIBLE collections with the world. I'd kill to be in the same room as any one of these amps, but for now I'll pretend to be and picture them in my mind as I hear them. It truly doesn't get better.
The first tube amp I ever tried was my old roommate's 60-something Super Reverb. Can you imagine going from a Peavey Express 112 to that? Ha ha. That SR is still one of the best amps I've ever used; probably THE best, really.
How do you use your DI captures with your real cabinet with the ToneX? With the quad cortex I use my power stage 200 through my effects loop with the direct captures. The ToneX does not have an effects loop. Do you just go in direct to something like the power stage and it works the same?
Yes, I am using this setup with the tonex …using an class D poweramp …just make sure the output of the tonex gets boosted because it’s not really loud. I am using it with an ampero stage in the loop and boosting the loop about 10dB ….it’s really kicking with my band …played a lot of shows and couldn’t be happier! Also I am experimenting with a tube poweramp that doesn’t color the tone because as we know the poweramp is already baked in the captures…I should say I am using DI captures with a regular 2x12 cabinet No FRFR!
No, the Super Reverb got a V2 because it is one of my oldest releases from almost 2 years back. I could make it sound more authentic thanks to experience, ears learning along the way and way upgraded equipment. The REX release and many before it are cutting edge as far as our know-how and equipment goes.
You're captures are what makes ToneX useable for me.
Good soloing. Sweet.
Just grabbed this one, too! That's like 30+ packs for me now, lol... It's just too good.
Thanks for the support!

Sweet tones and playingSw!
There it is! Now, I have a pretty sweet setup and I can't get that kinda tone with these even though I have a fantastic Suhr.
Rock on, brother! 😎
waiting for the DI Capture!!

The Super Reverb was my 2nd amp ever - still feels magic turning it on.
It will be mine!
The quintessential BF tone - a good pick ;)
That would be interesting when you demonstrate clean amps to make some country licks with the compressor to see how the captures react

I didn't see this in the store, but not sure what to look for.
Will be released in the next hours and links will be updated here in the description
whats the amp capture in the intro rhythm part ?
Will ask Fabian tomorrow, if he doesn't chime in himself.
I also bought a rex for QC and was waiting for it, but is there another one coming out? My wallet will be empty..😂
